The Grand Hotel Malahide: Opinions
Fantastic experience: Have been staying at this hotel for the past 3 years.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful hotel, excellent meal, great staff. A super experience.
Fantastic experience: Stayed here last weekend. Very relaxing, lunch and evening food were amazing. I did enjoy the hot breakfast buffet, food a bit cold. Overall a fantastic place to stay.
Fantastic experience: I did not stay in the hotel but instead came for food in their bar with my family, from arrival our evening was perfect, warm reception from all staff and very comfortable table, the food was fantastic and we did not have to wait too long for anything at all. The stand out of the night was our waiter Jack he was an absolute gentleman who was incredibly efficient in their service always checking back that everything was too our liking etc. and was never overbearing but still found time to have a laugh with the table between flying between tables, definitely a staff member who really gets good hospitality
Fantastic experience: Apart from when the cleaner forbade me from using the toilet. The rest of my experience was wonderful.
Fantastic experience: Very nice hotel for the price... great conference too. Good food...
Fantastic experience: Beautiful place and even better location on the water.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful family room! Lots of room and big windows with a nice view
Fantastic experience: Imagination goes wild, back in time nostalgia. The view amazing. Quality furnishings. Definitely worth a visit
Fantastic experience: Perfect hotel for touring Malahide! Walking distance to everything including the castle. The room was clean, spacious, had a nice TV, and a comfortable bed. The real treat here is the old world feeling of the various lobbies and lounges around the property. Felt like a 19th century traveller (in a good way.)
Fantastic experience: Service amazing. Rooms comfortable but the ensuite needs a makeover missing growt between the tiles everywhere and cracked floor tiles
Fantastic experience: We had a great stay here. Short walk to local restauants and bars. Indoor Pool was large and elegeant. Had the best old fashioned at their bar. Was able o open our room windows for some fresh ocean air! Public trans was easily accessible.
Positive experience: Overall, had a great stay at the Grand Hotel in Malahide. The biggest thing to keep in mind when staying here is that the rooms do not have air conditioning, the windows only open slightly, and the Wi-Fi isn’t as strong inside most rooms. You can request a fan from the front desk, which helps a little bit, but I couldn’t imagine staying here during the summer. The rooms are nice. The staff was friendly. The hotel food was good, so I don’t really have any complaints there. The train station is about a 10-minute walk, and the castle is about a 20-minute walk from the hotel.
Fantastic experience: Great location and beautiful views. Spacious meeting rooms.
Fantastic experience: I was here on the 16th of Oct at an event The food and service throughout the day were fantastic. The staff were very pleasant ☺️
Fantastic experience: Stayed for just one night after our overnight flight. Beautiful hotel within easy walking distance to various attractions. The room was well appointed with complimentary water, coffee and tea. Also had toiletries, bathrobes, slippers, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. Loved that they gave us sleep masks. Free parking is available.
Fantastic experience: Great staff and with loads of quiet areas it makes for a relaxing time....any time of year.
Negative experience: "Executive" room overlooking kitchens with noisy extractor fans ,broken toilet seat (reported and not fixed) Boiled to death expensive breakfast and reception staff that don't care less ! For those prices and that quality this quirky relic from the 60's will fail.
Negative experience: Room was small dark and dingy with 2 very uncomfortable single beds. Too hot with no visible heating controls. Opening the very window gave a fantastic view of the roof and carpark and the delightful sounds of a very noisy Aircon unit firing up constantly. Service was good though. Have stayed previously and enjoyed a better room. Will not be staying again.
Fantastic experience: The hotel was absolutely beautiful and the staff were very helpful and efficient. The town is adorable and filled with things to do. I loved sitting in the hottub after a long day of touristing
Fantastic experience: Shared an absolutely beautiful scrumptious meal.in the Coast restaurant I think it was one of the best meals I have enjoyed.
Fantastic experience: Great location and very friendly staff. Breakfast was amazing too
Positive experience: Very enjoyable stay again at the Grand. Staff as always are excellent and the room was fantastic with a seaview. We thought the breakfast was average and not good value for money at €26.50. The fried buffet food seemed to have been left too long and ought to be replaced frequently. Small issue, but as others have mentioned on here, the sausages aren't great! However, overall, we were very happy with the experience and will be back.
Positive experience: No air conditioning in the rooms and windows do not open very much, so just be aware. They did put a fan in our room when we requested it. The room was really nice and the shower was amazing! Coffee in the room could've been better, as it was instant coffee and not really good at all.
Negative experience: Check in is at 3, 30 minutes past and they have no clue as to when our room will be ready. Couldn’t give us a single guess or time frame. Very surly and unapologetic front desk staff. Wont return
Fantastic experience: Really smart hotel, oozes class, fabulous location too.
Positive experience: Just returned from a most enjoyable two night stay. Staff were all helpful present and professional. The Hotel is unique and has been added onto over the years for better and for worse. I believe some of the rooms were spacious with sea views however mine was cramped looking into a bare wall. Nontheless, this did not detract from my most enjoyable stay. I would return, but only for a better room.
Fantastic experience: Lovely rooms, comfy beds and great breakfast.
Positive experience: Our room is wonderful and the staff are so helpful and jolly. One exception; the female chef refused to make gluten free pancakes which at these prices, is unexpected.... Cork has some good shops and the hotel is in a very busy and loud street. First night a disco was going until 2am so we have to close our windows. Gwendolin stands out as very helpful, kind and jolly on reception, and Stacey and Anita in the breakfast restaurant. 3 star noise levels but 5 star staff.
Fantastic experience: Great place to stay with excellent train link to Dublin central
Fantastic experience: I have a “cosy” room but it is plenty of space. No view but I can walk outside for the view. They were busy when I checked in but I have been well taken care of. I feel very safe and comfortable here and the property itself is very very nice.
Positive experience: Lovely hotel, great location.
Fantastic experience: Grand is a very appropriate word for this very fine hotel. Our golf group stayed here for one night when we played Portmarnock golf course and everything was gorgeous. The staff there were incredible too.
Positive experience: The location is extraordinary- the external vista of the hotel is impressive and then it fails. The main lobby is tired with outdated and dirty furniture. The reception staff are at best combative, and inclined to be quite surly. They obviously do not enjoy the interaction with the guests. Everyone else is polite and professional so some training for the front of house is obviously required. We enjoyed our stay in Malahide but would stay in other properties next time.
Positive experience: A great hotel right in the heart of a beautiful little village which has fabulous bars & restaurants and beach access.
Fantastic experience: The place is gorgeous, sits right across the street from the Irish Sea. Breakfast at the hotel is wonderful as well.
Fantastic experience: This is a quaint hotel along the seaside in a picturesque Irish village. Service was very good, rooms were nice, and the whole place has a very relaxed vibe.
Positive experience: Lovely modern hotel in Malahide. Stayed here on our last night in Ireland because of it's proximity to Dublin Airport - perfect for that purpose. Room was very nice - especially the bathroom - though I wish we could have opened the window more than an inch or two. Breakfast buffet was lovely and the location was great to walk along the water or walk into town. Check-in was smooth though we got the impression that we were somehow imposing to have our family stay there for a night vs. all of the business travelers that were there (check-out was a far more friendly process).
Fantastic experience: Had an excellent 4 night stay from 14 -18th August. The room was located on the front overlooking the water and had a full bay window to take in the view. The cleanliness was top notch, The food was excellent and the facilities great. A lovely place to stay.
Fantastic experience: All the staff were lovely and food was amazing. The amenities were all very clean and of a high standard. We will definitely be back again soon!
Positive experience: Room gad good facilities as I was the babysitter.
Positive experience: Unfortunately there is absolutely no entertainment in this hotel and no mini fridge in room. Entertainment is badly needed, especially at the weekend
Fantastic experience: Everything we liked. Staff. Food and everyone friendly. Weather was good. Will be back.
Fantastic experience: The grand hotel was just as perfect. Lovely staff, great magnificent views from the windows when you look out ! The staff were just amazing and worked very hard for a special wedding evening to tackle into. Absolutely beautiful place for one night stay.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful location, very friendly and helpful staff, great place for a short stay, (or long stay, you choose!).
Positive experience: Room very tired and in need of an update. Bathroom was extremely outdated and not nice. Overall, a good place to stay in terms of location for access to Malahide.
Fantastic experience: Didn't stay but visited family that did, had lunch in the bar - had the beef roast dinner was delicious, service was quick staff were friendly and helpful. Great location, walking distance to lovely surroundings in Malahide
Fantastic experience: Fantastic location! In Malahide, walking distance to shops, bars, restaurants, marina, Dart Station, Model Railway museum, tennis courts, beach, leisure facilities and Malahide Castle. A longer walk or short drive to Portmarnock. The room I was in was modern, it was lacking a view but I think it was in the newer part of the hotel as I remember staying here years ago and the room I was in looked out to the seafront but was not what I’d call a modern room. Shower/bathroom, bed and facilities all very good. Downside - you have to have lots of cash to stay here, my room was €218 and if I wasn’t with work I wouldn’t have been able to afford to stay here.
Fantastic experience: This hotel has both a modern element and a more classic decor. Whilst the white tile foyer is spacious and roomy enough to moonwalk across, The older part boasts spectacular sea views and numerous architectural nuggets to tuck away inside, in the event of an impromptu game of hide and seek. Our room was located in the vintage section, and whilst I can guarantee our room was not haunted, it did come with a free spider on the pillow and gratis water. High ceilings and tall windows beautifully captured the georgian-esk feel. Our room lacked a balcony, where a rooftop area outside the window would have been the cherry on a mossy path. As the great Robson and Jerome cover goes, “There’s room enough for two, Up on the roof (up on the roof)” Breakfast was included and plentiful, with the best orange juice I have ever tasted. A wider range of eggs could have improved the spread, and the option to die dine al fresco. We did however take the air on the front lawn over by the strewn towel and room key after breakfast. I’m not sure if they were maybe accommodating a treasure hunt. I did not make use of the vending room, however thought it odd a card swipe was required to enter the room to make your purchases. I didn’t make use of any other facilities as time was not in our favour. The local castle and gardens were having a concert season and the staff who came into the residents bar were the utmost of friendly and entertaining and full of mischief. Fascinating Characters filled the late bar and smoking area. Bill from US, in town to scatter his pops at the castle. Rugby Richard whose scrum could bulldoze the building, Or the fun-loving cult-member concert goers who were friendly and did not intend to recruit. My favourite were the production peeps, whose infectious laughs echoed in the corridors and in my heart. And now To Artur, without a H, who stole the show, but not our tips which were given in Ernest. Best Guinness/baby Guinness pour in the northern hemisphere. Bronn from game of thrones lookalike, acting extraordinaire. Winter is coming, and Artur deserves a raise. His dry humour and insurmountable patience are the best asset to the hotel, without Artur the hotel would only be “grand”. More towels would have been useful, and perhaps a carpet upgrade. 5/5
Positive experience: I like going to Grand Hotel malahide for coffee and scones for a good few years but it gone very dear it now cost 17. 40 for 2 it goes up every time you go
Fantastic experience: My husband and I stayed here for our last night in Dublin. We enjoyed this hotel. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were a bit confusing to locate as the hotel's hallways are long and winding. The room itself was comfortable and well appointed, but the view was lackluster. We ate at the restaurant downstairs which was tasty and the bar staff were fantastic. The hotel's pool is in another complex across the street which I was unaware of and a bit of a walk from the main hotel elevators. The proximity to the airport was great and the hotel had ample parking. Would reccomend this hotel for someone looking for a quieter night in dublin.
Fantastic experience: This is the perfect place for a vaccination the marina is within walking distance and there are plenty of restaurants. The hotel itself is amazing. The staff are friendly and very helpful throughly enjoyed my brief stay and already looking to go back
Positive experience: Clean bright and modern, this hotel is close to the downtown and there is nothing here to complain about.
Fantastic experience: We stayed just one night, it has what you expect. Plus a huge lobby. Friendly and helpful staff.
Positive experience: Location is perfect. Service was hit or miss. The bag man was great, but the people at the counter during the day seemed to sit around complaining about work and some guy named, Jim. Rooms were ok.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful hotel and easy walking location into town with a beautiful view! Breakfast was absolutely amazing and the restaurant is better than most in Malahide. Our room wasn't the biggest but we got it cheap enough so can't complain too much. Would definitely recommend
Fantastic experience: Beautiful place to stay, staff very welcoming and friendly Food 10/10
Fantastic experience: Very nice hotel and nice location near the water and airport. Super clean and nice rooms. A lot of history here too.
Positive experience: We had to stay a night here because we couldn’t get into our vacation rental. The owner of the rental paid for our stay here and we enjoyed it. Room was spacious and the bed comfortable. This is a beautiful hotel with gorgeous architectural features. The breakfast was delicious and they had many gluten free options for my wife. The chef even prepared gluten free sausages just for her. Nice touch.
Positive experience: Excellent location, we stayed here on 2 different occasions due to proximity to the airport. Our rooms were very comfortable and updated. Unfortunately we had a view of the roof both times. Rooms were very stuffy with no way to circulate air. Windows did not open. Staff very kindly brought a fan to us. Breakfast was extensive but the start time was quite late. 7:30 on the weekend and 7:00 on week days. Not convenient for earlier flights. We walked to Malahide for dinner, just a few short minutes away.
Fantastic experience: Lovely welcoming hotel serving lovely bill of fare in Matt Ryan Bar.Friendly staff in a pleasant bright surroundings.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. Easy access into Dublin via the ‘dart’.
Negative experience: Went to a communion. It was my sisters grandchild. It was in the Coast restaurant. It was only the family there. Unknown to me, a pair of expensive D&G glasses fell out of my bag onto the floor. We moved to a small bar in the hotel. Again, there was only our family there. Realised then that my glasses were gone. Went back to the restaurant, but they weren't there. Was told to ring reception the next day, but nothing was handed in. The manager of the restaurant was supposed to call me back but never did. I would like to carry this forward and meet the overall manager. I'm very disappointed with the Grand Hotel.
Fantastic experience: First time to stay at the Grand hotel and had such a lovely relaxing stay recently. Parked easily and then met by a lovely lady at reception, Susan , and she gave a first great impression and a great welcome and she made check in so simple and easy . Rooms lovely and spacious and beautiful bathrooms. Breakfast was also delicious
Positive experience: I was here for a corporate event . Food portions for me were small and the coffee is a pass. The hotel and facilities however where fantastic and the hotel itself is spotless. Excellent , timely attentive staff , couldn't fault the staff In terms of the hotel it sports amazing views and location and is a beautiful building. Would highly recommend
Fantastic experience: My friend and I regularly call in to the Grand on Sunday afternoons after a game of tennis across the road . We are very impressed with the good friendly service we are given, especially as we usually just have a coffee and a scone. Our business certainly will do nothing to keep the Grand in clover but our custom is appreciated very much nonetheless. A special thanks to Anne for her lovely cheerful pleasant manner and helpfulness. It is no wonder that the hotel is so busy and popular.
Fantastic experience: We booked the hotel because of the proximity to the Dublin airport without thinking much about it. Now we regret not staying longer. The hotel seems to have rich history and they are doing their best to keep the building in good shape without ruining it's unique character. But the absolute highlight was the staff. They were incredibly attentive and forthcoming and it felt like they were genuinely interested in us having a good time. When a small issue with a cocktail we ordered at the hotel bar arose they approached us without us even mentioning the problem to them. They just saw(!) that something was off and did everything to correct that mistake. It wasn't even anything dramatic and we were surprised (again) how important our well being was to them. I hope someone from management reads this review, because while the hotel itself is great, it was the staff that made our stay at the Grand Hotel excellent and a night to remember.
Negative experience: The fire alarm was faulty and went off four times in the middle of the night, beginning at 4am. Some of my colleagues who were also staying there got up and followed evacuation routes, one of which came to a dead end in the basement. Another colleague waited 35 mins outside at the designated RV point, but no staff turned up to update the group that had formed there. One of them eventually went back into the hotel to be told the alarm was faulty. The following morning I asked what could be done with my room bill, as I paid with the expectation of restful sleep, which didn’t happen. They refused to alter the bill. From another perspective, from 4am onwards had there been a real fire, the alarm wasn’t working.
Fantastic experience: Have been going to Dublin for just over a year for work and by June had stumble on this gem of a hotel in the Malahide suburb (15-20 mins or thereabouts from the airport - depending on traffic). There are Executive rooms with a sea view (which are great). The hotel was renovating all the rooms so worth asking for a renovated room (think there are still a few yet to have the star treatment). There train station that provides easy access to Dublin City centre (about 25 mins) and a great leisure complex (Full Gym and swimming pool).
Negative experience: I brought my 85 year old mother here for a coffee and a scone. She recently overcame a fall and was bed bound for 8 weeks and she is now using a walker. She usually likes the Grand in Malahide so we went there. On entering to the food lounge area it was quite full and the waitress told us to go to the back of the pub to get a seat and when we got there it was unsuitable as there was a large step and a huge crowd watching sports on the tv. We then walked backed and decided to leave and go into the pub/bar area. When we got here we met the same girl with long brown hair and glasses in her mid 20s and I ordered our drinks . 2 hot whiskeys . This girl told me that she doesn't do hot drinks here and I would have to head back into the lounge to order and bring them in. I asked if she could do that for us and she said no she had to stay behind the bar even though we were the only ones there. I went back to my mother and told her and we decided to leave and go to O'Dwyers in Portmarnock where we were treated with the respect and dignity my elderly mother deserved. Im writing this as I am just disgusted at the treatment of my 85 year old mother. Have some respect for the elderly. The service we received was appalling and my poor mother felt she was invisible in a place she usually likes going. The girl dealing with us showed no empathy or care and she should not be dealing with the public. I won't recommend this place for a visit or for elderly people as they will be overlooked and not cared for. This ruined our experience for our pre mother's day outing. Disgusting.
Fantastic experience: Fabulous views. lovely room and bed so comfy. Breakfast was good
Positive experience: We actually had the penthouse apartment with a magnificent view of the ocean. Furniture a little dated, but it was spotless. We had a great experience at this hotel, the breakfast was fantastic. A big thank you to everybody at reception you guys are the best. This hotel is close to everything, and they have a great bar with a great menu. We will definitely be back.
Fantastic experience: We have just spent two nights here. We had a lovely stay. The rooms were very comfortable and we had a beautiful sea view. Breakfast was very good and the staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. We would highly recommend it. The location was ideal for the dart and the village of Malahide provides many lovely places for dinner,
Fantastic experience: We had our wedding here on the 14th of October 2023 and we couldnt fault anything with the hotel. We still get compliments on how nice the food was on the day! I can't thank the staff enough for all of the help throughout the wedding planning process, Karine especially she was amazing and always in contact and there to answer any questions that we had, she had the day run so smoothly and gave us nothing to worry about, amazing to deal with and so kind! The grand hotel will always hold a special place in our hearts.
Fantastic experience: Just spoke with Taylor at reception and she couldn’t have been any more helpful. Would really recommend this hotel.
Fantastic experience: I attended a concert here. Lovely venue, great sound and comfortable seating. Staff friendly and helpful. Nice cup of coffee.
Fantastic experience: I had lunch here in the Coast Room. The food was delicious and the staff very friendly. It was years since l had been here as l had moved away . The place has been upgraded over the years and is absolutely beautiful. Parking on the grounds. Stunning views. Highly recommended.
Fantastic experience: Had a great stay at the Grand Hotel. Reception area was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Our room/bathroom was comfortable & spotless. Susan at reception was fantastic. She was so professional and friendly. She was so kind and helpful with the kids. Nothing was too much. She is an asset to the hotel! 304/200
Fantastic experience: Stayed here for the first time. They had everything you could need in the hotel room. Staff were very efficient and helpful. Breakfast is worth paying the extra for.
Fantastic experience: This Hotel is well located . Looking out to sea beautiful picturesque view. Loved it. Service cleanliness perfect. X
Positive experience: Overall it is a nice hotel. The staff are friendly and attentive. The room is a standard size. The bed was comfortable. The food was tasty, especially the evening meal. The receptionist ordered a taxi for me and it arrived on time. I would stay here again.
Negative experience: On Friday 1st Dec at 10.15am decided to call in to the grand hotel malahide for a coffee while attending to some errands in the area. When giving my order for an Americano was advised by the waitress that the table was needed for 12 noon due to lunch guests, never have I been spoke to, suggest it was because I was in my running gear and may lower the tone of the venue, people forget what people say but not how they were made feel, awful customer experience
Negative experience: If I could give the service less than one star I would. Service was abysmal. The front desk staff were rude, dismissive and ignored us at check in, and when they finally served us they told us our room wasn't ready and to come back in a couple hours (we arrived after 3pm and had advised that we'd be checking in at 3pm in advance). Rooms were dated and the building is in rough shape with damage to walls and the carpets. For one night it's not a bad price, but i definitely wouldn't recommend it.
Negative experience: Myself and partner attended an 80th birthday on Saturday 25th of November 2023 We paid 45 euro each for a meal off the menu on your website and when we arrived given a menu for a 2 course meal ,then my partner twice had to call over floor manager to complain about food then drinks were taken away from table when not finished a number of times . Then the birthday cake arrived, which was extra cost not included in booking, could not bring our own cake to present to birthday girl ,cream on top layer of cake you supplied was not fresh , over highly disappointed with whole experience and would not recommend to anybody.
Negative experience: Don't get the overpriced Sunday roast after the Sunday lunch has ended I did and felt like I was served up with the left overs not good in such a supposedly highly rated hotel Take it off the menu or step up your idea of an evening Traditional Irish Roast Beef Dinner
Positive experience: Stayed here for 3 nights, locked in our room due to covid. The staff was great, food (room service) was great... Then night time came. Band rocking til 1:30am each night. Then the drunks yelling in the halls each night until 2:30am. If your into the late part scene, thisnplace may be for you.
Positive experience: Bad musky stale smell of the room greeted us. Breakfast at the Coast was average though a fairly good spread of hot and cold selections. The Matt Ryan bar served a nice sea bass special for dinner. Overall, staff were great but the outdated room furnishings could do with a proper overhaul to maximize its potential. Seems the executive rooms were upgraded but not the rest.
Fantastic experience: Great parking. Good size rooms. Great staff on reception. Like a maze but we'll signed. Bar is pricey but really nice to relax and chill. Good location.
Positive experience: Easy access to the Malahide train station and a short walk to the Castle grounds. Excellent morning breakfast layout(included with room). My room was small with a double bed, which my wife and I managed nicely, though we only had "carry on" sized luggage.
Fantastic experience: Imagine stepping back in time to the mid 1800s and enjoying a grand hotel while enjoying the cleanliness and modern conveniences expected today. This is the best way to describe to Grand Hotel Malahide. Staying here was was the highlight of my mine and my partner’s trip across UKI. The staff were friendly; the location was in walking distance of town and the beach; the view was amazing; the common areas were awesome; the place felt safe; and the room was nice, clean, and reasonably priced. Can’t wait to come back!
Fantastic experience: Just starting my stay and alteady love this place. The room is amazing, breakfast excellent, with the village five minutes walk away. Looking forward to the rest of my stay!
Fantastic experience: Classy. Executive rooms spacious and with all what you need. Free WiFi. Rituals toiletries. Iron and iron board. Hair dryer. Safety box. Good breakfast and helpful staff
Fantastic experience: Very safe. Very kind, welcoming staff. Beautiful location, I was only visiting, didn't stay, I liked the decor, great service, how safe I felt, which I felt, I would be before I ever went to this hotel, thank you.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful hotel. Room was clean and modern. Staff was attentive. Breakfast buffet was plentiful and varied. Malahide is a lovely town and the hotel is also. Highly recommend.
Fantastic experience: Watch the :Two night special with breakfast and dinner." That description is inaccurate. You will be provided with two beakfasts which are truly awesome, but each person only gets a one off allowance of 30 euros in total, towards dinner. Very misleading! You will be billed for any food in excess of your 30 euros. That actually leaves you only 15 euros each per night. Hotel did not reply to our questioning of the small print aspect of this offer. Was our first time there and for our 44th wedding anniversary. Bitter taste in mouth. The Grand need to be more straightforward with their promos.
Fantastic experience: This is a magnificent traditional hotel with a friendly and heloful hotel staff. The location in Malahide is extraordinarily beautiful. The restaurant and breakfast are top notch. The food and drink are very good. The views of the water are lovely and the shops and restaurants in the town are great.
Positive experience: Great location across from the estuary and short walk to town and Dart train to Dublin (25 min ride). Beautiful building with incredible large lap pool, jacuzzi, and gym. Nicely appointed rooms but no King beds. The seaview was from a relatvely small window that you could only see the sea by walking over to a certain spot near window. Dont pay the extra charge for it. They badly need a concierge. Its hit and miss to get help from front desk staff and valets.
Fantastic experience: Had a fabulous experience at this hotel at a wedding this weekend. I have to say, Meghan who was working in the residents bar was phenomenal. So friendly and accommodating. Truly made the night. Lovely girl. You should be very proud to have her as an employee. 5 star experience overall. Congratulations
Fantastic experience: Lovely hotel been refurbished. Location perfect a short walk to malahide main street. Used the pool which is not in the same building, there is also no shower gel or shampoo provided in pool so keep tha in mind otherwise a lovely place.
Fantastic experience: We had a very nice spacious room with a beautiful view in the executive wing. The pigeons outside our windows were a bit of a shame but not much they can do about that. The choice in breakfast items is rather large although the scrambled eggs and mushrooms could have been a little better. All in all a great hotel with a lot of amenities in a lovely location.
