Fantastic experience: Great spot. Have used on a few occasions when staying in the area. David and team at front desk always friendly and accommodating. New machines on top level are a great addition and it is also fantastic that they have steam room and sauna.

Fantastic experience: Just completed three month PT program with James here, going into it I was incredibly nervous, having always felt overwhelmed in a Gym environment and my fitness level/knowledge was not the best. However I cannot recommend James enough, he puts your mind at ease, is attentive to your personal goals, has such knowledge of not only the body and its capabilities, but also the connection to the mind. He's a great motivator and is very patient even when listening to me trying to talk my way out of the next rep! :) And the gym is great has a wide array of equipment to suit everyone, having recently added more new machines to hit those goals. The staff are really helpful and approachable also.

Worked out there earlier and saw a real commitment to the business in the amount of new state of the art modern equipment being delivered and set up today and the refurbished sauna in the last few weeks. Hard to find a gym where the members are cared about to this degree. Top notch.

Positive experience: 37 degrees fitness gym loughrea provides excellent value for money in terms of what you get for the price you pay. What you get is a very well constructed gym that has nearly everything from olympic lifting zones to well thought out cardio spaces and much more. The positives There's a nice main area with two studios a massive area downstairs with spin classes olmpic lifting zones and plate loaded machines. The dressing rooms are also quite nice with a sauna and steam room. The staff here are lovely. And the equipment is solid. There are many pieces of equipment that were up to date felt really good and the range is highly impressive. It was really cool to see old fashioned plates in a gym. The range of dumbells is also really good here going up to 60 and above. Whilst there are no massive negatives. There are suggestions. My big suggestion would be put a label on the door to the downstairs area now you could always ask a staff member but i think this could be beneficial because the gym is quite big that people could get lost, so it would be a bonus to have. the other recommendation I have is when possible to theme it a bit better like painting it so that every part feels uniform. But again merely a suggestion. Summary In general this is a great gym however I would suggest putting a label or sign to indicate the downstairs area. Value for money is great the people are lovely and it has just about everything you need for various workouts weightlifting and some calisthenics. You cant go wrong with training here which is why I'm giving it a 8.5/10

Fantastic experience: After years of training in various gyms, I can confidently say that 37 degrees stands out not just for its top class facilities, but for the atmosphere and care maintained by the team behind it. From the spotless equipment to the newly refurbished sauna, it's clear the owner take serious pride in the space. You get the sense that members genuinely matter here. The real game-changer for me has been working with James, a personal trainer at 37 degrees. Having trained under a range of PT's over the years, I can say James is in a league of his own. His depth of knowledge, attention to detail, and ability to tailor sessions creatively have been key in helping me progress much further than I had expected. What I appreciate most is that James doesn’t just hand you a program, he educates, motivates, and challenges you every step of the way. He has an uncanny ability to spot the little things i.e. form corrections, mindset shifts, recovery cues - that many others overlook, but which make all the difference in achieving lasting results. If you're serious about your goals, whether you’re starting out or experienced but stuck in a plateau, I can’t recommend this 37 degrees - or James - highly enough. I look forward to many more years of progress ahead with them both.

Negative experience: Leaking ceiling upstairs, buckets on the floor, going downstairs long term dust and dirt, locker room disaster, they just paint over locker doors.. so much potential with the space especially downstairs.. btw no heating downstairs and bearly any lights on.. cold and dark in a winter time.. not workout motivating..

Fantastic experience: I walked in to the Gym with my brother and was greeted with such warmth!! He was signing up and I wanted to go for a couple of weeks to show him the ropes!!! (As I live in Oz). Absolutely loved it, it has a couple of floors so if it was busy we would head downstairs and set up down there! The music was at a perfect level.....the location is great with heaps of parking and I thought the recovery area (steam room, sauna and cold shower/ice bucket) was the icing on the cake It was honestly the highlight of my time back home. Thanking the team so so much....ye Legends!!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely brilliant! Loads of machines and choice for what to do, regardless of whether you’re following a programme or not. REALLY helpful staff who are generous & more than happy to help if you need it- while also allowing as much space & privacy as you wish. Sauna&Steam room was a very unexpected cherry on top, and a surprise waiting downstairs (loads of space and loads of olympic style body building areas). Can’t wait to go back!

Fantastic experience: Hi I was anxious when I first joined the spin class as I was unfamiliar with it . Curtis made me feel very welcome and adjusted the bike for me . It’s a brilliant work out you will definitely need a towel but despite being challenging it’s also fun

Fantastic experience: Having recently moved to Dublin, I've realised just how special 37 Degrees in Loughrea is. No gym in Dublin offers the same combination of top-notch workout facilities and exceptional recovery amenities like their sauna and steam room. I returned for the bank holiday weekend and was amazed by the new workout area downstairs. The equipment is fantastic, and the atmosphere is welcoming and motivating. I genuinely miss having access to such a well-rounded facility. If you’re in the Galway area, I can’t recommend 37 Degrees highly enough. It’s a gem that sets the standard for fitness!

Fantastic experience: I've been training at 37 Degrees for the last 3 years. I had been going to Colm’s metcon classes for the last 2 years among other classes on offer at the gym and he suggested giving the weightlifting classes a go to change things up a bit. I was fairly strong but wanted to focus more on building up my strength and trying something different. The combination of snatch, clean & jerk, front squats, back squats, deadlift, bench and conditioning was exhausting at first but with Colm's encouragement and my own persistence, I made huge progress in a short amount of time and continue to work towards new goals. Colm strikes the right balance between toughness and encouragement and I have always felt that he believed in my ability to improve, which motivates me to work harder. There isn't a day that I don't look forward to training with him and I couldn't recommend him highly enough. The atmosphere is always friendly and relaxed in the classes but they are also testing and I generally feel like I don't have much left to give at the end of each class. The classes are welcoming to all levels of fitness and great for meeting new people and making some good friends. Colm's metcon & weightlifting classes offer a combination of individual focus while also allowing you to experience the competitive side of working in a group. He is a tough trainer but is always pleasant and friendly. I would recommend him without hesitation to anyone trying to improve their strength and sports performance.

Fantastic experience: I have trained here for over three years. I originally started in Colm’s weightlifting classes and have loved them. He really makes sure that my technique is looking great before increasing the weight. He is not afraid to progress though either when things are moving well. From here it seemed like a no brainer to try the mobility and metcon class too which he also runs. I never liked cardio but knew it was required to be healthy, so I gave it a go. Well, this was unlike any cardio class I had done before, and I instantly fell in love/dread of what he planned. He really encourages us to finish no matter what it is or get another round. If an exercise is too hard and alternative regression is provided. Similarly, if slightly injured another alternative exercise is offered. This became more important as I became pregnant and great thought was put into the exercise selection to the point by the third trimester, I was doing a completely different class in most cases and that was totally ok. I made many friends in these classes too and the comradery cannot be undervalued. I would highly encourage anyone to give the classes a go and see how you get on in them.

Fantastic experience: I joined 37 degrees to attend the Weightlifting classes with Colm and it's one of the best things I have done in my life. Colm is an excellent instructor. He is patient, knowledgeable and has a great rapport with the class. I never thought I would be in involved in a sport at my age but with Colm's guidance I have gone on to compete. However the classes are accessible and welcoming to everyone at whatever level you want, from beginner up. There are so many benefits to weightlifting, from strength, to less aches and pains, better posture and improving your bone density. There's good craic every class as well as we encourage each other and have a laugh and that's down to Colm. Highly recommend!!! Miriam

Fantastic experience: I hated going to the gym but the min I stepped inside the doors I feel welcome. From the warm greeting to the knowledge off all the staff is 2nd to none. I have a pt called curtis and the 1st thing he wanted to know was my plan and what I needed from him and the gym. 6 mths in and I have reached so many off my goals with him. 100% recommend here.

Fantastic experience: This gym is Amazing and has everything I would expect from a state of the art gym. 2 massive floors of the all the equipment or machines i will ever need . I am spoilt for choice in regards the massive selection of classes I can attend ( Boxercise , Spin or the HIIT classes in the morning before the school run ) or the option to leave my children to the Martial Arts and Gymnastics in the evening while I get to train upstairs. The recovery and wellness area is always what I look forward to after a good training session in the gym. Dave and his staff are super friendly and easily approachable with any questions or advice I may need. Dave sourced a personal Trainer when I needed one. Provided plenty of information regarding supplement's for my fitness goals. There is always a good positive vibe when entering the gym and the gym is a credit to Dave and his team. If you have a goal Dave and his team will help you achieve it. I would highly recommend 37 Degrees to anybody looking to find a Gym to train. Jessi.B

Not only is the equipment top of the line, but the facilities itself are of the highest quality in combination with fully qualified staff who provide an array of classes, as well as, one-on -one personal training for both men and women of all ages and fitness levels. 37 degrees also offers a fully furnished spa area including a tanning bed facility and strength and conditioning sessions for sports teams.

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend 37 degrees fitness enough. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. State of the art facilities, offering an array of classes such as HIIT and CrossFit. A real fitness hub as the gym caters to everyone from those who want to lose weight, powerlifters, bodybuilder and athletes. This is evident in the renovation 37 Degrees undergone. Adding an array of equipments to help members improve physical conditioning, endurance and strength. Assault bikes, StairMaster and Skierg are one of many equipments added.
