Fantastic experience: I had a facial today with Jean, my first facial in a very long time, and it was one of the best experiences I ever had. Jean was absolutely amazing, so caring and nice , the treatment was so relaxing and my skin still looks and feels amazing after it. I highly recommend this Spa and Jean and I can’t wait to be back!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely fabulous!!! I had a hot stone massage, a mini facial and gel polish on my fingernails. Each treatment was completed with care and attention second to none. My massage therapist was so attentive and highly skilled, I have never been as relaxed. After the facial she gave me very thorough advise as to how to take care of my skin, based on my skin type. Couldn't be more pleased with my relaxing morning. Thanks so much ladies, I cannot recommend highly enough.

Negative experience: Had a voucher for full body swedish massage, I was asked to pay the difference between my voucher and current price, obviously that's not right practice and I refused to pay. The massage was the worst massage I ever got, I indicated on the form I like firm massage. It was just bearly touching my skin massage, she had no interest in giving good massage, and they were asking for 85€ for it, total rip off for the quality or rather lack of it. Stay away from that place!!!!

Negative experience: Sorry this is going to be long but very honest and also it’s long overdue as I’m actually tired of the lack of cares given in that place. I’ve been coming here a long time on and off. The gym has improved and the reason I continued going there is because as a woman I felt generally safe in the gym compared to other local gyms I’ve been to… which of course is good. The price of membership is fairly reasonable but I think there could be some Improvements…. The pool area is very disappointing. Surely with all the members they have they could afford to kit the pool area properly and make it accessible/ comfortable. The new steam room is just bound to cause an accident; it’s slippery to sit on, an accident waiting to happen and for women we find it uncomfortable, sharp on the edge of the seats and impractical. It’s advised you shower in between using the jacuzzi, sauna and steam room but the showers beside them are absolutely freezing in temperature. I understand this may be the intended affect - hot to cold- but there is two showers surely 1 could be at least warm (one used to be). Not everybody feels comfortable going under a freezing cold shower so many don’t shower at all and which of course is a hygiene problem and a breaking of the “rules”. Something else to add is that the changing rooms feel absolutely grim.. I know they are cleaned everyday but I often find the toliets in a state and there is only 1 individual changing room which inside is dirty and depressing. But 1 private dressing room can be very uncomfortable when the womens changing rooms is swarmed with children on swimming lessons days. There could be 10 Year old little boys in the changing rooms I know for some this is okay but for some it’s very uncomfortable as there’s no family changing rooms and it can be difficult having a lack of privacy. Also to add on a Wednesday night and maybe other nights there’s aqua aerobics which is brilliant But also in in the evenings which they fail to tell you when you join so as you try to relax music is blasting down your ears. Maybe let me members know in advance. The jacuzzi is not hot at all anymore these days it’s luke warm- at a push. The sauna can be very dangerous as times in the past it’s broken and hard to access as it’s three steps up and often packed.. it could be better layered out and less slippy there’s a dirty feeling in there. Lastly something that pushed me and others out of the place is the fact as a women I could enter pool without a hat and I’d be pulled but a man who’s wearing his underwear in the pool will not. Surely this should not be allowed. I see men wearing underwear that they’ve clearly been wearing in the gym into the pool or their GAA/gym shorts over the top it’s completely unhygienic and disgusting that this is allowed. Many women have said it and even my own partner. Of course nothing is said to them and they get a blind eye. It’s a shame to see things slip here it’s a beautiful place, great members (except for the ones who flash half their bums out of their boxers lol ew). I know I sound opinionated but it’s all constructive criticism.. don’t shoot the messenger.

Fantastic experience: The pool and treatment rooms are fabulous . Staff are excellent.The pool is maintained to an extremely high standard and the decor is lovely. The spa offers a wide range of treatments, carried out by professionals,opens late evening, and the online booking facility is a welcome added bonus.

Negative experience: Just had a seaweed bath in tranquillity leisure & Spa 40 euros 20 mins and not a bit of seaweed in sight more like Radox. How are place's getting away with it. Staff don't seem to have the training and lack of people skills. They should not market it as a seaweed bath as seaweed bath it is not. On a better note the food was good in the hotel and the staff pleasant.

Negative experience: Attended for a Swedish full body massage with Emma. The massage was lovely and Emma was very experienced and informative of ways to help with my lower back pain issues. My issue came when I booked my husband in for a massage. As an anniversary present I requested to pay for his in advance. They happily took this booking and payment. When my husband finished with his massage he was informed he had to pay, he explained this was already paid for, to which he was told it was not and had to pay in full. When I discovered this , obviously very upset by the error, I sent him the evidence that it had been. He then returned to the spa to show the evidence, to which he was met with excuses about the system. The customer service was shocking, he got no apology for the error. He was eventually refunded but this took some time to argue his point as the woman on reception was not keen to do this. Although the evidence had been presented. We will not be using this service again due to this situation and the clear lack of customer care and administrative error that occurred. A massage is suppose to be relaxing and sadly because of the mishandling my husband did not come away with the benefits which had been intended.

Positive experience: The pool should be seperated into swiming classes/lanes and people who just want to swim. I found myself stuck bobbing up and down in one spot as there were swimming lessons going on all over the pool. There should be a sectioned off area specifically for the lessons as I could not enjoy the swimming pool. The locker rooms and shower area were not very clean also.

Positive experience: Like the swimming pool but you can not use most of the equipment in the gym because people will sit at the equipment on their phones and will not move on.its very frustrating when you have a program to do but you can not use the equipment.Think I will save my money next time at renewal.

Negative experience: Booked an appointment with SPA for full body massage at 12:15. After 20 minutes of waiting had to go to reception to find out what’s the story. Manager Brendan came to me and informed that therapist didn’t show up to work. All could be fine if I had a call at least an hour before the appointment. Nobody even care to inform me about cancellation. The new appointment had been offered to me but to be honest I don’t even want to go there after what happened. All cancellations have to be made 24 hours prior appointment otherwise beauty services charge you for the late cancellation or for not coming for the appointment. I believe this policy works just one way at least at this particular SPA. Do not recommend!

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love it. It's my chill place, my distress place. My only concern is no enforcement of the rule no U16s in Jacuzzi, sauna.

Positive experience: The pool and changing rooms are very nice. Lots of lockers. Floors get very wet when there are a lot of kids around, would recommend flip flops. The staff seem very nice and approachable always. I find the gym itself seems run down and in need of a lot of TLC/updating of equipment. The machines are all working but seem a bit dated and the TV reception to the machines is very poor. Given the membership price, I would have expected more up to date equipment and an aesthetically pleasing gym environment. The showers are always warm and pleasant. There is lots of parking. There is a great little crèche open until 1pm for kids up to 6yrs, very reasonably priced to allow for an hour or two workout/swim. I enjoy the pool and so do the kids, there is a lot of classes on offer and the studio is quiet nice. I didn't view the gym prior to purchasing membership as I was interested in the swimming and all the stuff it has to offer for kids. It's a shame really as I feel the gym pulls down my rating, otherwise I prob would have given 5 stars.

Fantastic experience: Staff are friendly and helpful and the gym is a fantastic gym well equipped with scheduled glasses everyday.

Negative experience: Too many children everywhere, more of a creche than a place for adults to unwind. Locker rooms are used by parents and children as well as adults which is madness in itself, the showers were not maintained and the spa area became overwhelmed very quickly come "summer camp" where they clearly took on too many families with children and the place went from a spa to a creche! As for the gym facilities theres also too much loitering and not enough being done to stop it, poorly managed overall and not worth the membership.

Fantastic experience: Excellent gym with fantastic staff and instructors. It is great value as a wide range classes are included in the price. Staff are supportive and helpful. The changing rooms are usually clean. Bring a travel lock for your locker as most lockers don't lock.

Negative experience: Went in for my first workout. Spent more time trying find plates than I did lifting. Very unorganized. The weights they do have were strewn about. Holes in the floor under the rubber mats. Equipment wobbling because of missing bolts. Think I'll be going elsewhere.
