Fantastic experience: Slightly dated, but still a lovely place to stay. The Bistro serves excellent food and the service is top notch.

Fantastic experience: We took a banquet room in keadeen hotel last weekend for a very special lady's big birthday in our family, it couldn't have been more perfect, the staff were lovely especially Mick and Una who were so friendly and helpful serving our meal which was gorgeous, everything was perfect on the day for such a special family occasion, highly recommend for food and drinks

Fantastic experience: Loved this hotel after a long flight into Dublin for some good read. It’s a historic hotel with the most amazing and friendly staff! The woman at the front desk, the wait staff in the restaurant and the woman that oversees the coffee area are all incredible and paid attention to every detail! Thanks for an unforgettable experience!

Fantastic experience: Hadn’t been here since before Covid so we decided to book a meal and we were very impressed. Quality is excellent and the specials were a nice treat. Great value for money here too so I would recommend and will be returning.

Fantastic experience: Fabulous day evening celebrating with friends. The hotel is beautifully located within its own ground of flower beds and shrubbery. The rooms are spacious and spotless with toiletries hairdryer etc,. Beds are also comfortable. The bar is bright and airy and the staff of the overall hotel are welcoming, pleasent and go out of their to cater for your every need. The food was amazing served piping hot and a great variety of dishes. Our vegan friend was catered for with no hesitation. White water shopping centre is within walking distance from the hotel as is the Newbridge Muesem and shop, both well worth visiting. Over all no complaints whatsoever. Well done especially to the gardener who does an amazing job.

Fantastic experience: This hotel is just amazing. Great location near a beautiful town, impecable service, super nice rooms, amazing facilities and delicious breakfast!! Everyone was really nice to us!! It has a great gym and swimming pool to relax and do some exercise!

Negative experience: Update; Hi, In response to your reply. I had stopped by in the afternoon with an aquaintance with the intention to get some lunch. We only wanted something light.' This was not possible according to the young waiter, as only dinners were available as per menu. We accepted the menu and to our horror, we found foile gras' which is chicken liver' pate. As animal rights' advocates, this was not acceptable. This practice' should be outlawed which it is in other countries. We quickly excited the establishment feeling quite ill. We do not support any buisness or eatery that condones this horrendously cruel practice to suffering innocent animals who have no voice. We request that your chief remove this item and maybe we may return again. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: We stayed here for 3 nights and I cannot say enough about the staff! So helpful and attentive without having to be asked the rooms were gorgeous, the space for eating and drinking was very cosy with lots of outdoor options for nice weather. We attended a wedding and the wedding space was stunning! Couldn’t fault it I loved my 3 days here and would return again and again

Fantastic experience: 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We celebrated our dad's 80th birthday at The Keadeen Hotel with a dinner for 25 people, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly professional and attentive, and the food and service were absolutely fantastic. They went above and beyond to accommodate our celebration, even allowing us to bring our own birthday cake and serving tea and coffee in a beautifully reserved area of the lounge. We truly appreciated the thoughtful touches and warm hospitality. Highly recommend for any special occasion!

Negative experience: We had booked lunch recently. The food was ok, we all had wraps or sandwiches whilst the children had sausages and chips. It was standard fare, a little on the pricey side for what it was. Biggest issue was with service. We were on time but waited to be seated for quite a while, at one point a server saw us and turned away. When we were seated and handed menus we were then told we had been placed at the wrong table and asked to move….. Our server was ok, not what I would call friendly but not rude either, maybe a little curt, but the worst was that they were sucking/chewing on a mint whilst serving us. Reason we know this for sure was because unknowingly to them a small piece fell out of their mouth onto a piece of cutlery on our table. We made no fuss, swapped the knife for one on an unoccupied table…. We haven’t had food in the Keadeen for quite some time and it maybe a long time again..

Fantastic experience: This is by far one of the best wedding venues in Kildare, or indeed the country. The staff look after you so well and the food is to die for.

Negative experience: Had a reservation for Afternoon Tea today, special birthday treat, booked a couple of weeks ago, we even got a reservation reminder, turned up today and was told they had our reservation but they had changed it to lunch instead as they were so busy with Communions they could not run the Afternoon Tea. They admitted they should have contacted us to let us know but said we were welcome to have lunch instead….not impressed and very disappointed. This is not the service you expect from this hotel, contacted Newbridge Silverware, explained what had happened and that we had been let down by the Keadeen Hotel last minute and they managed to accommodate us. Saved the day and the birthday celebrations. Lovely day there instead. Bad show Keadeen Hotel, bad show.

Negative experience: There is no pedestrian entrance to hotel. Guests have to use same gate as vehicles which is a huge risk and a safety issue. Another thing is that the entrance fills with rain water and you cannot go out on foot to the shops nearby. Worst experience.

Fantastic experience: Loved my stay here at The Keadeen Hotel. Staff were very warm and welcoming. Breakfast was included and my favourite was the honeycomb. There is a gym and swimming pool which guests can use free of charge. Overall a very lovely hotel.

Fantastic experience: Visited The Keadeen on Saturday October 30th for one night stay with five friends. Accommodation was one of the best I have stayed in. The double room was well equipped and extremely warm and comfortable with lovely garden views. The staff were all helpful and cheerful and a special word for the evening dining and breakfast staff who were very observant and attentive without being invasive. We had a wonderful evening and would have easily stayed another night. If I had one little negative, a little background music or entertainment would be lovely in the lobby/bar ! However it did not spoil our stay. The food overall is fantastic and portions more than adequate. The breakfast buffet one of the best I have experienced. Congratulations to the management and staff. I would return without hesitation!

Food was delicious and served in a timely manner. However, the staff were absolutely the star of the show. Fantastic experience: Lovely hotel in Newbridge. I've never stayed but I've used the gym and restaurant and meeting rooms. Restaurant menu is "old-fashioned" but caters to their clientele. Always had a good meal here

Positive experience: Beautiful hotel, lovely gardens, immaculate room and outstanding food. We had a beautiful 3 course meal in the restaurant and it was amazing. The host that checked us in and our server were both welcoming and lovely. Our drinks server earlier in the day was also lovely. The one thing that let us down was the reception staff. The receptionist that checked us in was abrupt and not very welcoming at all, almost like we were an inconvenience. The receptionist that checked us out was on a personal call and she continued on the call while we stood at reception, only when my mam put our room key up did she ask for our room number while she was still on the phone, my mam said we needed to settle some room charges so she told her caller she would ring her back. Even then she wasn't particularly nice and didn't ask how our stay was. Its a shame as the rest of our stay was lovely as were the rest of the staff we met. It wouldn't put us off coming back but just not what you would expect from a nice hotel.
