Aura Drogheda Leisure Centre

Negative experience: Looking for a gym and never having been in the place once, I just read a few nit so good reviews and decide not to join them! Not in a million years would I leave a penny there. Three reviews was enough and the overall rating is also crap.

Negative experience: I visited Aura today, and I found the experience to be absolutely despicable and disastrous. Shockingly, they allowed a woman to enter the swimming pool in the WATER fully clothed, including wearing a veil. Even more concerning, the man accompanying her presumably the husband was also fully dressed in regular clothes and did not respect the rules of the swimming pool. This raises serious concerns about hygiene standards. What kind of policy does the swimming facility have in place regarding appropriate swimwear and sanitation? Such practices are not only unhygienic but also reflect poorly on the management’s commitment to public health and safety for EVERYONE!

Negative experience: The manger Donna’s is a horrible person don’t know how anyone could even talk to her nothing but rudeness

Negative experience: I’ve just been made aware that the staff at aura Drogheda asked a breastfeeding mother to leave the swimming pool area while breastfeeding her baby. It is a shame that the staff at aura lacks support for breastfeeding mothers especially when breastfeeding in public is protected under Irish law and when swimming pools are considered public places in Ireland. So the staff was not only unhelpful but also acting against laws. Ireland has to come to terms with its misogynist and sexualised approach towards breastfeeding. Breastfeeding is the most natural of things and mothers need support not being shamed. Solidarity with the breastfeeding mum in Aura Drogheda.

Fantastic experience: Been there few times in the gym it was an experience I had good time even staff came to help me ☺️. Pool is not that busy what I like and water is perfect temperature in simple words love it.

Fantastic experience: Aura is definitely the best fitness center in Drogheda. The staff are amazing, always attentive, helpful and kind. I would like to thank Adam, who is extremely focused on the needs of his students and has helped me a lot, Bernard for the best water aerobics class, and Noula, who is wonderfully helpful at reception. Fantastic experience: My twins had their 1st swimming lesson. Absolutely brilliant teacher. One was very nervous and crying, but the teacher allowed my husband to stand poolside for the whole lesson so he had daddy's reassurance. My other twin thinks he's a pro swimmer after one lesson, the convenience he has after his 1st lesson is amazing.

Fantastic experience: Everything is great! The only thing I can’t figure out is why the water in their pool is salty—probably because the ocean is nearby! ʼ

Negative experience: Rude

Negative experience: Came here last time and had a good experience with my 4 kids, one of them is 8 and last time they let him in but this time the lady at the reception wouldn't let him. She spoke to me really rudely when I was just trying to prove my point how the rules say under 8. My daughter is 15 and was willing to go in the pool with him. My son was upset the entire time.

Negative experience: They could clean it more often and replace or deep clean plastic mesh around jacuzzi as its grose, really really dirty:/

Fantastic experience: Love the swimming pool here, shower is good but small space, good changing area. The staff name Robyn is very friendly and helpful, so does most of the teachers here.

Fantastic experience: I love the place. Pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi.. Relax is what you need.

Negative experience: Such a poor management! Staff so unhelpful, doesn't care at all. To get into the pool is like a lottery. You might win or lose!!! Disappointing...

Negative experience: Waited over 2 hours to use the pool only to be told by rude staff at counter that it was full, looked in the window and say about 7 people in the pool. Complete waste of money and better places to go swim in drogheda, would not recommend.

Fantastic experience: Both my kids have started here they are 5/6 weeks in and its brillant the swim coaches are the best.. they have come on so well.. also my little boy was hard work at the start but the coach (kerry ann) so good with him and bow he is flying.. highly recommemd

Fantastic experience: I love this place. The staff especially, they are all awesome, Kevin, Daragh, Barry, just to name a few. I've my 2 boys in the swim academy and one was quite a nervous wee man with sticking his head under the water, 5 sessions later in turtles with Barry and Kevin he wants to stay under the water during the whole class my other boy went from the baby pool in the 1st class to the deepest part of the pool in the 6th session (supervised obviously). The customer service is outstanding, well done team.

Fantastic experience: Really impressed with the improvements made to the changing areas, all new tiling,lockers and bathrooms very nice. Doing the 8 baby swim lessons for €70, great that they can keep the prices reasonable when doing renovations.

Fantastic experience: I love this pool. It relaxes me. Everything here is amazing (sauna, steam room, jaccuzi, gym, showers, hairdrying facilities) and my only complaint is about the security lockers and the state they are in. It's a good price, too.
