First Class Fitness Gym

Fantastic experience: FCF is my go to gym when I’m visiting Dublin. Steven and all of the staff are so welcoming and have built a great community and gym atmosphere. They have a wide range of equipment to cater to many different athletes as well as beginners, and I’ve never had to wait for anything. There are 3 deadlift platforms (with chalk), heaps of benches, squat racks and different barbells, plus a great selection of machines (including 2 GHRs!). I will be back next time I’m in Ireland :)

Fantastic experience: Im so glad to have found this gym! First Class Fitness is the perfect, no frills workout gym. Great price, no queues for equipment and long opening hours. Steven and Alan are so knowledgable in helping me understand the best workout for my body type and have helped me so much as a new member. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I joined the gym two months ago for the group classes, and I’ve been really impressed. The instructors are incredibly friendly and ensure that you’re doing the exercises correctly while still challenging yourself. There is also a great app that helps you track your progress. What I value the most is the sense of community; everyone is so motivated and supportive. I highly recommend it!

Fantastic experience: I joined FCF a year ago for general fitness and to build back stength after several months away from the gym and exercise. The class structure is great for building fitness and strength. The coaching team are great at motivating you and structure things in a way that you can see your progress over a period of time. The coaches are really passionate about what they do and have so much knowledge, not only do they push you in some tough but excellent sessions they help you learn about your body and improve all the time. Great place would highly recommend.

Negative experience: Very poor kept gym with little facilities other than the complete basics. There is no water fountain, the bathrooms are disguising on the off chance they’re working and the equipment is falling apart. I would have no problem with all this as I’m not picky but FCF charges prices up there if not higher than Westwood leading me to question where all this money is going. The only reason I pay the outrageous price is because of its convenient location. Would not reccomend if there are alternatives.

Fantastic experience: A fab community-centric gym with great facilities and amazing staff and members alike. I’ve been a member of FCF for the last 9 months and believe it’s worth every penny. The classes are my favourite thing about the gym; they’re tough but still good fun and are only taught in small groups. Katie & Steven are also so helpful and are true experts in their field. I have progressed so much in such a short space of time I can’t wait to see what 2024 brings. Couldn’t recommend FCF enough!

Fantastic experience: FCF gym is genuinely different to other gyms. There really are are no egos here! Steven and Katie embody this with their down to earth, warm & welcoming approach. They are both absolutely brilliant at what they do, bringing years of experience and skill, yet they are always approachable and make time for you. Coming to the gym is something I look forward to. There are friendly familiar faces and everyone is there to work hard (but no one takes themselves TOO seriously.. I haven't seen any selfies being taken! ). I highly recommend this gym if you're looking for a local down to earth place to work out.

Fantastic experience: I will only ever do a burpee or a split squat if someone is telling me to, so I need a trainer to hold me to account or I'd absolutely be on the couch with a vino instead. I joined First Class Fitness because I was looking for a gym that offered classes at hours that worked with my work day. Katie and Steven are so encouraging and helpful and I have started to see results after only a month. I love that they track our progress week on week and have helped me get my confidence back when lifting weights. The classes are fun and easy to fit into the day. I definitely recommend this gym! Fantastic experience: I’m almost in FCF a year & really enjoy their classes. I attend at least three times a week. Steven & Katie are great instructors & their attention to detail in terms of how we should push ourselves is really great. The main differences to classes elsewhere are the personalised attention to all class members, the intentional variety of every class & small numbers in every class. I would definitely recommend anyone to join.

Positive experience: Several gym equipment are out of service and are in need of repair. There is often nobody at the desk, if you wish to query or make a payment to use gym.

Fantastic experience: This is place is extremely well kept in a very good spot in town, It could be grown into something huge, ie taking out more locations, doing more pt, and getting more attention from the public. Fantastic experience: I discovered this gym in the summer of 2021 and cannot overstate how excellent a facility it is. From my perspective it would have to be one of the best strength and conditioning gyms that I have ever walked in to. I personally train in weightlifting (amateur) but it has everything that you'd need for my sport and more: Countless lifting platforms, in excess of 10 squat racks, high quality powerlifting and weightlifting barbells, seal row set-up, GHD Set up, dumbbells up to 60kg, a weightlifting (Olympic style) dedicated back room, all the usual cardio equipment (ergo, bikes etc). I have literally never been stuck waiting for a platform or a piece of equipment. The lads that run/own the gym are absolute gentlemen and always on hand. If you are a young or developing athlet in the Dublin area that needs a serious set up where you can put your head down and train hard without having to wait for equipment etc, this is the gym for you, I guarantee it.

Positive experience: Probably half of the machines aren't in a good state. Broken padding for example. Also, it takes more time that it should to find the discs I'm searching for because the gym isn't well organized; discs are everywhere.

Fantastic experience: Joined First Class Fitness today and the two lads Stephen and Scott were pure sound in helping me get registered. Gave me a tour of the gym and thoroughly explained Covid Guidelines which all members were adhering to. Plenty of equipment with a great design and great customer service, will be looking forward to getting stuck in to First Class Fitness

Fantastic experience: Great gym, huge range of top of the line equipment and enough of it to prevent waiting around. The personal training Steven offers is top of the line. The highly customised training programs he creates are backed up by a huge amount of knowledge and understanding of exercises and their effects on the body. Highly reccomended!

Disinfectant sprays, sanitisers and cloths are provided - giving members the tools needed to keep equipments clean before and after use.

Fantastic experience: I've been a member of FCF Gym for more years than I can remember and will be for many more. With all the equipment you need, staff who are always available to educate, and a friendly environment to train it, there's no reason to go anywhere else. All the necessary cleaning equipment is provided which is an added bonus. Overall the best gym I've ever been to and would highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Fantastic set up and everything you could want from a gym. Opens early, never too busy, and the staff really welcoming and helpful. Gym is spotless too, and the music is actually decent and not blaring perfect spot for beginners and those looking for value for money.

Fantastic experience: An absolute gem of a gym! Best one I’ve ever been in and I’ve been in many! First Class has top notch kit - including Ohio power bars, a safety bar, prowlers, rower, Hammer Strength equipment, a Cybex Leg press , the list goes on.. It is literally paradise for anyone into S&C The place is always immaculate and the staff are super friendly. Could not recommend more.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant gym! Provided with hand sanitiser, hospital grade disinfectant, and all other needs for cleanliness are met at a high standard. Very spacious gym, with high quality weights and machines for everybody no matter whether it’s for a beginner or an experienced gym user. Most of all, there is a great community spirit within the gym which is defiantly a result of the friendly and helpful staff.

Fantastic experience: I’ve tried many gyms in the south Dublin area and FCF is by far the best. There is a huge range of equipment, all of which is in perfect condition. Monthly membership is very reasonable and they often run deals which are extremely good value. It’s located on a quiet back street of Blackrock which makes it very accessible and easy to park. The staff are all legends and always available to answer any questions you may have. Couldn’t recommend this gym enough - bit of a hidden gem!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a member of First Class Fitness for nearly 5 years and I can’t see myself ever changing gym. There is a wide range of equipment and the layout is perfect with plenty of space. Anytime I have questions the guys working there are always happy to help, they always offer great advice and tips for helping you reach your goals. The gym is kept very clean, They supply hand sanitiser, disinfectant sprays and cloths for cleaning equipment before and after use which is great. All in all a great gym. Keep it up guys!

Fantastic experience: Stevens knowledge, expertise and personal touch made the whole experience of joining a lot easier. I was apprehensive at first but after the first two minutes of my assessment I felt comfortable and at ease. The results have been amazing. Not only am I getting physically fit I'm a lot more positive and happy.
