Negative experience: Absolute skip. How does this pass Health and Safety. Bits of rust metal lying near the slides. Paint hanging off the wall, broken tiles, toilets you need a gas mask.

Positive experience: Hodně staré, všude rez, vypadá to jak špinavé, záchody smrdí jak ..., ALE!, pokud si chcete odpočinout po práci, sauna je paráda! Svůj účel splní. Jen je opravdu směšné, že do bazénu musíte mít koupací čepici, ale do sauny ručník pod sebe ne?!! Jiný kraj, jiný mrav ;o)

Negative experience: Ich wollte nur in Ruhe ein paar Bahnen schwimmen...Ich ging nach 20Minuten,weil ich mich so geärgert habe. Hier laufen vier junge Erwachsene (Lifeguard) rum und tun als ob sie alles im Griff haben,dabei wird sich hier nicht an die Regeln gehalten... Die Kinder machen was sie wollen,sind laut,spritzen mit Wasser rum und werfen mit Eimern und die "Liefeguards" machen mit. Einige tragen die Badekappen nur halb auf dem Kopf... Es sollen,aus hygienischen Gründen Badekappen und Badeschlappen getragen werden,das scheint nicht einmal für die Mitarbeiter zu gelten. Drei von vier hatten ganz offensichtlich dreckige Straßenschuhe an (die vierte hatte Croqs) und zwei junge Männer mit T-shirt; keine Schwimmbekleidung: ?Lifeguard und swim teacher) gingen mit T-Shirts und ohne Badekappen im Becken schwimmen und spielten mit den Kindern. Auf den ersten Blick sieht das Schwimmbad recht ordentlich aus,aber das täuscht. Der Boden ist schmutzig,ebenso die Toiletten und man MUSS aus hygienisch Gründen eine Badekappe tragen...wir haben am ganzen Körper Haare,was soll das? Außerdem sollten die Angestellten ein Vorbild sein und nicht, ganz offensichtlich, selbst gegen die Hausregeln verstoßen. Ich bin sehr enttäuscht!!! Dringender Nachholbedarf

Negative experience: im sorry but this place is a liabilty, dirty & unsafe, it hasnt been fixed up at all since it opened, I had to try 6 lockers before I got one that worked, people leave there gear in the changing cubicles, despite there being signs telling them not too and saying staff will remove them if they do,I saw a review mention this 6 years ago yet its still an issue. pools are cold and dirty.. only about 4 private showers, the toilets stink worse than any pub toilet ive ever been in (and ive been in a lot) .. the flumes are great but why only have them on for a few minutes an hour? as said the stairs leading to the flumes are a disgrace, the pool tiles are dirty. the hairdryer boxes are covered in rust, the one star is for the really friendly lady on reception.

Negative experience: Visited on 30/06/25. All seemed OK until I followed my kids up the stairs to the slides (that were open one minute and closed the next, make up your mind!) The stairwell was disgusting. Filthy, with rust falling off the metal banisters, holes in walls that looked like they had been filled in by blind children. Should not be open until it is properly fixed. Health and safety at its worst. Rotten.

Negative experience: They have bad service

Negative experience: Signed up with a family member, family member became very ill and we couldn't go anymore, with everything going on we understandably had more important things to be worrying about that our gym membership and didn't contact the aura. When we finally thought on it we realised we owed 2 months, which we paid. We were told all we had to do was let them know and they would've froze the membership, ok fair enough. I changed the membership to a single membership which (without informing me) put me on another brand new 6 month contract. I have asked for them to freeze this for a month as I am unwell and can't work so I can't afford the month right now, however this time I was told I need a doctor's note, one months notice and if I miss this month I'll be blacklisted from monthly membership and have to pay the full year upfront and threatened to contact other gyms so I'd have nowhere else to go but here (breaking data protection). Yeah because obviously I knew a month ago I was gonna get unexpectedly unwell. Pool has been half closed for nearly a month, the whole centre was blocked for 2 weekends of Irish dancing without any notice to members and was everybody's fault but the aura. Saddened and shocked at the difference between 'we could've done this for you' then and 'we are going to do nothing for you' now. This is what happens when a place has no competition

Negative experience: Such an unfortunate leisure centre, expensive and they don't care about hygiene, pool temp, availability of slides, never have enough staff to man it. Lockers and changing rooms are appalling. It's disappointing, a waste of a leisure centre. Head management need to sort this place out, all greed. A renovation is desperately overdue. The bare minimum isn't even being done here.

Negative experience: It was absolutely freezing cold and got colder as the day went on

Negative experience: Unhygienic and falling apart. Rusty rails and crumbling walls on the way up the steps to the slides. Slides only open for a few minutes at a time and close again so only get on them twice per visit? Roof leaking. Paint peeling off walls. Spectator seats falling off or broken. Needs completely renovated

Positive experience: Overall, the aura is a decent gym facility. They offer a wide range of classes. The staff are very friendly and make a great protein shake However, the place itself could do with an upgrade and the following is advised: -There should be more water dispensers available. -The jacuzzi is too small and could do with a clean. - The treadmills are old fashioned and are too slippy - There should be a rack for toiletries in the showers - There should also not be a 50 cent charge on the use of hairdryers. Fantastic experience: Большое спасибо персоналу и менеджерам за сервис, были в сауне и парной комнате. Очень комфортная температура, все удобно, вода питьевая, душ холодный, 2 сауны комнаты, огромная паровая комната. Душ тёплый, правда только один я нашла на всю раздевалку, остальные были с холодной водой. Джакузи в зоне спа. Как просто отгородили зону спа от бассейна, это прекрасно, подржавели соединения, но это понятно и никаких неудобств. Фен за 50центов, замок как обычно 1евро закинуть.

Fantastic experience: I Just Went Swimming On Every Friday Morning With My School This Is A Final Year Of Swimming Before I Headed To 5th Year Or LCA 1 The Staff Were Friendly And The Gym Was Cool From Upstairs And The Water Aerobics The Music Was Catchy And The Sports Event Hall Was Great It Has Football, Basketball, Concerts and Etc

Negative experience: I hate Aura & their Staffs. used to love Aura before, but now it’s most unfriendly leisure I’ve ever visited. I’m sharing my bad experience there, today when me & my husband both went to *Family room* to take showers after workout, i was half naked and in the middle of the bath one of the Staff lady came here and knocking the door continuously. We thought might be serious issue. I had to dressed up fast and still my body was wet, that lady staff told us that we need to get out now because there’s are huge disabled family, they need family room to take shower while we’re taking shower, we told her that give us 5 mins but she forcefully made us to get out immediately. And we had to move another small washroom, there are only one family room and one disabled room.. The question is why we need to move another bathroom while we’re already taking showers? why she get out us from the family room for that disabled family?? We don’t care who need family room, if anyone then they should wait until the person come outside of the room? Why would we (family) leave room for another family? We paid for it not for another person. We are never going to aura again.. and last thing too many unwanted people around the pool area nowadays..

Positive experience: Great facility in the town. Seems to be issues with the saunas and steam room alot. Maybe add a thermometer in the sauna to avoid people adding too much/ too little water. Great track.

Negative experience: Signed up for membership but was originally only looking for 2 months membership, was convinced to get signed up to a contract because it would have been cheaper but turned out it was more expensive, plus being q student doesn't help, then there's nothing they can do to try refund the money, Kevin was the only good member of staff that would try help you. Facilities are poor for the price you pay, zero stars if It was possible

Negative experience: Old , massive but very less usable space , gyms pools are full in evenings they take members and run sessions , it's waste of membership as facility is blocked by different sessions .they need to re think it's management

Negative experience: The place has the slides and stuff, but switch them on at their own leisure for a few minutes, which really bugged me, as we had to ask them to switch them on... it's meant to be a working feature and we would expect they run continuously especially during the limited 1h playtime we managed to slide 3 times. the mushrooms in the kids pool were on for probably 3-5 minutes, i have not been in a place limiting the access to facilities we paid for to use. do not recommend unless you are just in for the swim.

Fantastic experience: I recently brought 3 of my kids and granny to the pool and I have to say from making the booking over the phone to arriving at the aura the staff were really helpful, and it was great to see that there was a limit on the number of people allowed in the pool for a session. I will definitely return again and I will also recommend to others.

Negative experience: Absolutely shocking place during the pandemic, understood under guidelines only 6 people can gather inside and out this is also the case for a gym which isn't been done, not been sanitized after each session people are just coming and going not one staff member sanitizing after each use or stopping the 7th person, it's a very small gym, definitely would not recommend it. No signs on the doors to state masks must be worn, absolutely appalling. Full of germs!

Negative experience: Thr swimming pool schedule on the website did not match that in the pool. Despite eing adult only after 6 there were still children in the pool after that. Furthermore a swimming gala forced public payers out of the pool despite the pool petaining to be public till 8pm. The weekdsy schedule is largely ruined by schools and private rental. In effect Ahra is.more a private pool. The.place is also looking tired and needs maintenance with showers not functioning and some just speaying water away and no stopping them. A very big waste of water. The pool is always kept at aboyt 1.25metres at both ends and they should open up the deep end but they dont. Kids jump into less than 3ft of water from the floor despite signs saying no to do this and life guards just look on. Its extremely dangerous. Finally some people hig the jacuzzi for more than half and hour and they know they are doing this. Better monitoring of this area is needed also.

Negative experience: Needs upgraded. Most of the lockers are broken. Upstairs changing rooms not very clean. Only one flat bench in the gym so you'd be lucky to get using it. No changing rooms available downstairs at swimming lessons time as parents leave their kids bags in them for the hour. Signs up on door saying staff will remove bags if they are left unattended but I've yet to see it

Fantastic experience: The Aura is a hub for fitness and sport for much of Letterkenny and the surrounding community. You can take the kids for a swim, work out in the gym or run around outside on the astro pitch. Plenty to do here!
