GO GYM Limerick

Negative experience: Rust bucket. Rusted dumb bells. Machines are very stiff, could Dow with some WD40. Seems like only the front 30% or so of the building is actually in use with the rest reserved for classes, meaning machines are on top of each other. only 4 benches for dumb bells and you often have to move out of the way when doing some exercises like shoulder flys as you're standing so close to other people. Place hasn't had any money invested into it in years bar a sauna out the side. Days are numbered with TBB across the road unfortunately.

Positive experience: Nice place, good equipment (no matrix), friendly staff and it’s not too hot. Only little downside is that it lacks cable pulleys Definitely recommend

Negative experience: Unwelcoming environment from the get go, gave it a chance for 6 months, but my final straw was a rude member of staff. Inadequate staff training on basic manners has led to a cancelled membership from me

Fantastic experience: Excellent gym with motivated staff (Rebecca, Niamh, Andrew, Liam) and a myriad of different classes available here that range between high - low intensity. The gym rooms that the classes are in (spinning & Hyrox/ GoSweat etc) are well designed, dark with LED lighting, and quirky quotes dotted around the gym. The staff are highly competent with motivating music that enhances the workouts. This gym also promotes recovery: the Barn is located beside the gym with an excellent sauna & cold plunges & cold showers available. I’d recommend this gym. It’s a fitness powerhouse.

Negative experience: Cancelled my membership in January, 4 payments have still been taken (2 of which were in agreement with contract) even when the direct debit was blocked. Got little to no help on the phone from the girl working there, firstly said I didn’t get back to them with a termination email when I did (in January) when she finally found that she still couldn’t help me in anyway but say “oh it’s cancelled now”. A joke of a gym

Negative experience: me and my partner were in yesterday and we were trying to get information. One of the staff said its 60 euro per person. other one said 50 euro. and after they started to do another things and didn’t care about us. they completely ignored us and didnt give any information.

Fantastic experience: An absolute gem, and not so hidden! I visit Limerick regularly and own a gym myself, and this place has all you need to get a good workout in. Rain or shine, it’s my go to, go gym thx all! ‍♂️

Fantastic experience: Great gym started going today my cousin has been going years , after sorting out the membership …. Indeed Niamh was very helpful i would recommend her to show yous the ropes if your not used to it great to answer questions .. or if you’ve been out of the gym for sometime… good for the head also ….. I look forward to my visit again it’s an all pleasure so it is indeed…… great it is open Late as I work as a mechanic myself in a job …… this gym was a garage years ago called the Ellm Motors great to seen it all done up i barely remember it as a kid when it closed……. But my garage four man jack in my grandfathers company was the four man here … many years on the building is a gym …….

Fantastic experience: Go Gym has Some of the finest gym equipment in all of Limerick. Classy clientele and excellent trainers.

Positive experience: Nice spin studio with mood lights, good sound system. Well intended instructor, may be better suited for younger audiences.

Positive experience: Sencillo, es como un galpón de 2 plantas. Tampoco he visto algo mejor en la ciudad . No es un sótano, está al frente de Tesco y al lado de una venta de bicicletas. Tiene dos baños separados de hombres y mujeres. Siempre hay personal presente, tienen una oferta de 200 euros por 6 meses . Tienen varias máquinas, empecé hoy, no son tan antiguas y en estado aceptable . Tienen una app para reservar las clases que tienen y bastante espacio para estacionar. Un defecto para algunos es la música a todo volumen que no deja ni escuchar la que tienes en tu móvil..

Fantastic experience: Nice gymm......This gym is awesome !!! 60 baht for a day pass which you can use more than once on that day and honestly the gym is so big and has every machine you could possible want...... It was really busy on the two times I went but the gyms that big and has so much equipment that you can still get your workout done........ .....Ok a little away from center. .....for you have all equipment in sheltered open air with enough huge fans. Clean toilet and shower. Good atmosphere.....
