Fantastic experience: Nice gym and friendly staff. Their Instagram platform provides expertise on equipment use and workout suggestions. Classes are energy packed and exercises can be tailored to individual needs.

Negative experience: That's called defamation of character and you shall hear from my solicitor about this. How dare you accuse me of causing damage. CCTV will prove me right in this situation and not only will this footage cause me to be vindicated of your unfounded accusation but shall also cost you a few more thousand euro for blackening my good name. Also exposing my personal information to other gym members breaches my personal rights but yet I’m the one being accused of “threatening behaviour”, I am a member at this gym for three years and have never ever had a issue with any member of staff or gym members and have created actual friendships with members and staff over the years and never engaged in any threatening behaviour and still have not. To be accused of this along side criminal damage is so embarrassing and upsetting, before this management team I would recommend this gym to absolutely anyone but now I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Absolute disgrace

Negative experience: I had to cancel my membership due to staff abusing their power and mistreating dedicated members of the gym. Due to their actions they have lost multiple dedicated members of the gym. I would not recommend this gym to anyone until I can be guaranteed something like this would not happen again.

Negative experience: Been going to this gym for three years and today have cancelled my membership due to the unprofessionalism of the manager. She is extremely rude and it’s really disheartening as I have always talked about the positive environment in the gym but it has gotten really bad and the staff are toxic. I highly recommend to go to a different gym

Negative experience: It's disheartening to see how one person's poor management can destroy the positive environment that once existed at this gym. I hope Energie Fitness takes serious action to address this issue before more loyal members decide to leave. Until then, I cannot recommend this gym to anyone. Today they’ve lost over 10 dedicated members and myself. I had to take a stand and cancel my membership in solidarity for this unlawful conduct by the manager in question.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend. Great Gym, Great Staff, Great Trainers (highly recommend “Kasie” if you get the chance to book her as your personal trainer)

Negative experience: Needs to improve a lot, there is no maintenance on the appliances, the abductor chair has a break on the cable for nine months, time I am training there. It does not have varied equipment, it makes you wait longer to train and is difficult to elaborate new training. Peak hours are impossible to train. Has the owner trained at the gym?

Negative experience: The worst gym ever. Dirty machines, filthy stairs and bathroom. There is not water filter also and few machines for the number of members and without maintenance. Shame!!! 07th and 08th May bathrooms are not working. This place should be banned!

Positive experience: Been going for years, gym is pretty ok. But the toilet issues are ridiculous, today all toilets and showers locked due to " issues with the running water ". It may not be the staffs fault but if I'm paying 35 quid a month I expect to have the luxury of being able to use running water. all bathrooms and showers even the staff ones locked. Should have just peed in the shower but it was locked

Fantastic experience: This is a really great space to train for people with all levels of experience. There is a wide variety of classes and equipment. The gym floor is always spotless and the staff are super friendly & knowledgeable. I can't recommend this place enough.

Fantastic experience: I have been a member here since the gym opened. I only ever attend the classes- I keep meaning to workout upstairs but I love that the classes are only 30/40 minutes long and you are done. I find the the instructors really knowledgeable and provide great classes. I Definitely recommend this gym.

Fantastic experience: I've been a member of Energie Fitness Balbriggan for just over 4 months now. Pilates and yoga were my exercise choices for years but I really wanted to bring more strength and resistance into my training. I'd never been a member of a gym before but this gym has such a cool vibe and the staff are amazing, so friendly and really interested in you getting the best out of your training and are on hand to answer any questions, especially when trying to figure out variety of machines. I also attend a few of the classes in The Yard and really look forward to each class, the instructors and the other members make training so much fun. A special shout out to Ollie, Ethan, Adam and Kaisie, who all offer a different approach to training individually, bringing great variety to classes. Spotlessly clean gym and bright and airy with a great view!

Positive experience: The facility has everything you require, although it would be beneficial to have a water point added as it can be challenging to exercise without a convenient place to refill your bottle. Additionally, adjusting the opening hours, especially during the summer, would greatly enhance the overall experience. Despite these suggestions, it's a decent gym with a lot to offer.

Excellent staff/customer service, spacious area, numerous and varied equipment are just a few of the many benefits that have kept me loyal to this gym. Already have and would continue to recommend this club to others.

Fantastic experience: Since joining Energie in July, the team have been great to work with! Every member is willing to provide guidance on the equipment or provide additional support during classes. The opportunity to do a 'Visit' was amazing! It removed the fear of attending, and receiving a mini session helped start my workout routine. Would recommend Energie for newcomers in the Balbriggan area.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to energise gym balbriggan for over a year now and what can i say its the best gym I've ever step foot in, the staff are all wonderful, they are allways on top of the hygeine of the gym with cleaning every nook and cranny and there all stocked up on cleaning supplies for the gym members to use,they allso have a wonderful yard space with boxing bags and kettle bells whitch are amazing for S&C that i use all the time being a fighter myself so the gym supplies everything i need to be on top of my game 10/10 gym

Positive experience: This gym is actually great. I definitely recommend this gym. The equipment is top notch and the community here in this gym is really great. You really feel like you belong here. My only critique here is that they need some more machines for certain exercises as it gets quite busy in certain hours of the day. But I trust that may be fixed soon with the future expansion of the gym in the future. - Seán Afolabi

Fantastic experience: I joined Energie balbriggan a few months ago and I am so glad I made that initial appointment to go in and have a gym visit. When I first went in I was met by Darragh the Manager and Ethan one of the trainers, they put me at ease straight away with their down to earth personalities and honest answers to my questions. I joined up on the spot for a year as I felt the gym was exactly what I was looking for. They have an extensive range of classes to suit all levels of fitness, and they manage to make every class enjoyable while helping you push out of your comfort zone. Every trainer gives you a completely different experience, and within a few weeks you can really notice a change in your fitness levels, Upstairs is a fully fitted gym with state of the art training machines which any of the trainers will assist with showing you how to use. I never thought I would be one of those people who look forward to going to the gym, but Energie has changed me for the better. Everyone in the gym is super friendly and will help you settle straight in when you first join a class or use the gym equipment. If your looking for a good gym with a relaxed atmosphere but will help you achieve your fitness goals I can highly recommend Energie Fitness Balbriggan.

Fantastic experience: I like Energie Balbriggan, close to where I live, location is great, staff friendly and approachable, I would say overall they are a huge asset to this gym. The management, always one step ahead, checking that the equipment is ok and working as expected. The space is not big, but good enough to make you feel comfortable, the gym is always clean and tidy. I highly recommend this place and invite you all to visit.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Energie Fitness if you are looking to join a gym in Balbriggan. I recently joined the gym to start exercising and have a more active lifestyle. This gym is very clean, bright and has a very positive atmosphere. The gym offers a variety of classes, machines and equipment. Thanks to all the friendly and helpful staff, I have not felt more welcome from the moment I stepped foot into the gym for the first time. A big shout out to the manager Darragh. He is incredibly down-to-earth, welcoming and friendly. He helped me get started and sign up to the gym :) I highly recommend just going in and having a chat to any of the staff if you are interested in joining or have any questions!

Fantastic experience: I really enjoy énergie gym Balbriggan. For me personally I love the wide variety of classes available in particular early morning and lunchtime classes as a full time working mam of two these classes mean I can work the gym around my lifestyle and the choice of classes is great. I don’t get to use the gym floor as much but I know that the variety of machines etc available is brilliant. Keep up the good work guys

Fantastic experience: Good gym for a quick workout. No one brothers you and you can just do your own thing. Would be nice if they would be open till 11. I was going there on weekends and had to take some time out after getting a back injury, still not fully recovered but will be back when I can.

Positive experience: Mixed feelings about this Gym. I ended up cancelling my subscription. Pros: - Very close to where I live, and the location is great, inside Millfield shopping center, with cafes nearby. Parking in Tesco/Milfield shopping center, almost never busy - Clean environment, good ventilation, instructors are very friendly and always ready to help. - Machines are all new, generally always working properly. - 4D scan machine is really good and provides good insights. Cons: - The space is very small, free weight area is generally crowded without proper space for exercising. - Due to the small space, the place is generally crowded with ppl from 5pm to 9pm, a little bit less crowded in other times. - Other gyms close at 10pm, sometimes 11pm, EnergyFitness closes early. - Apart from the class area downstairs, there is no space for non-weighted exercise. - Apart from spinning bikes, trendmills and 2 crosstrainers, there is only one unit of all other equipment. - The lack of equipment makes it very crowed, with groups of teenagers monopolizing machines every day, all the time. - Most ppl are nice, but groups of kids/teenagers are always loud, and keep at a machine for too long without sharing it. Instructors seem to no realize or don't do anything to avoid this. This is especially bad when teenagers are being loud/noise using the machines in the wrong way, which ended up breaking two of them on the same week. Again, nothing is done to prevent it.

Positive experience: Great selection of equipment and facilities, however it does get extremely busy so try visit on off peak times

Negative experience: I came at 6.30 and the gym still closed It is almost 7am, and no one here to open very disappointed

Fantastic experience: I started to exercise in Balbriggan Energie Fitness gym as an absolute beginner about a month ago and I absolutely love it! I attend 4 classes per week which are included in the price of 30 EUR monthly membership ( there are even more classes available) and my legs are on fire after every class! Instructors are great, classes are intense and make me push myself beyond what thought I could do. I also do strength training with weights and machines and when I need help with a new exercise or don't know how to use a machine, someone from the Energie team is always there to help. After being quite bored with exercising at home for a few years, I finally found a way of exercising that I enjoy. Atmosphere in the gym is friendly and relaxed. It is great to see people of all ages, shapes and sizes exercise with their own goal in mind.

Negative experience: Gym closes at 10 but showers get locked at 9. Due to the above and the fact the gym is full of school children working out in groups I canceled my membership. I was told I could not do it in the gym and had to do it online. I cancelled through online but due to other people warning me about this gym I went into the office to confirm it was cancelled. They confirmed and said there would be one more payment due to 30 days notice, fair enough. It is now past the 30 days and I still getting charged. If you can join another gym do.

The only thing I would like is if you could check in with the app on your phone to save you bringing in your car keys with the fob in with you. Great value for money too compared to other gyms .
