Fantastic experience: Really enjoyed the classes, and did 6 weeks of PT with Chiara and she was absolutely phenomenal! Really boosted my confidence to use the gym and lift weights by myself without doing the classes! Had to end my membership because I moved away but really really enjoyed using this gym

Positive experience: Good gym in general. On the downside, the dirty men's toilets and the fact that on Fridays it closes at 9. Also, it is bad that there have been times when the management has asked us not to leave at 10:00 but that at least 5 minutes before closing to hurry out of the place, something that makes us feel stressed . There should be some elemental indulgence at least for the first five minutes after closing as a sign of respect for customers!

Fantastic experience: I paid for a one month membership at Verve Gym in Swords, during my summer holidays in Dublin. I was extremely satisfied with the customer service to mention Ross, Connor, and the short haired blonde lady (apologies I didnt get her name) Great location, flexible timing, plenty of gym equipment and space to work out. My membership was automatically renewed after a month. Upon writing to the Verve Gym, my membership was instantly canceled and the charges were refunded back to me. I highly recommend Verve Gym. Negative experience: This is for Dunboyne Verve but applicable to this one as well because it comes under one management. Half star is not possible so giving 1 star. Worst gym in terms of administration. Said I can cancel my subscription whenever I want. A day before next month payment I cancelled membership but they still charged and said to me that I have to cancel one month in advance but they never said it during admission. Guy clearly said I can cancel whenever I want and how can anyone predict emergencies or future. Sometimes we have to move out of a place due to unseen circumstances and same happened to me. I notified them before payment was deducted but still they did it. When I emailed no one responded.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been in a few gyms in the area over the years and this is by far my favorite. Great variety of equipment and classes, a real friendly vibe and the sauna is an absolute bonus! Highly recommend.

Positive experience: Not the best gym I have used, but it's just enough for a nice workout, have enough equipments and space. Hardly any staff interaction, even membership is online. will not recommend for first time users unless taking a personal training. toilets are not kept adequate.

Negative experience: Was told I wouldn't have to pay a joining fee because I am already a member and Covid hit. Went to sign up when I had the funds and the story suddenly changed. Greedy and unprofessional management. Small gym not really worth the price anyway. Edit: The owner claims: "There is no joining fee for restarting a membership . . . not renewed because of covid". The staff understood this is my circumstance and were prepared to sign me up. The owner, knowing my circumstance, personally demanded I pay a second joining fee. I consider this to be nothing less than greed. Money is not an issue for me, but I have my principles. I am joining applewood gym which is far better value for money, with a swimming pool too. If you're not bothered about value for money, this is the gym for you! Just be prepared to get screwed by management when the opportunity presents itself...

Negative experience: Be careful with the payments here because you will have an argument with the maneger "Ross" here because he will only blame you and not refund you. They are using this app glofox I asked for a month membership. On the app I was not able to delete my card details it just kept saying error. Also there app does not give any notification when the months fee will come. So they have taken 3 extra months fees without informing me or anything. I emailed them and called 3 times and when Maneger Ross answered he said it's my fault for this and he will not refund me. I told him over email what was the problem but he completely ignored it. So he agressively started to argue over the phone that it's not his problem and it's my responsibility. The photo is proof of the transactions. I definitely will warn anyone else that I know to not go here.

Fantastic experience: Only in Dublin for 1 month, went to Verve Gym in Swords. Great staff, nice atmosphere. Perfect environment for training. Really recommend it.

Positive experience: Good gym needs air-con in the locker rooms other than that it's quite and great to get a good work out and staff are great people fun friendly with loads of advice tips and it also comes with a protein bar and drink machine great set up . Great view aswell and they always have the work out Music pumping . Worth the flight of stairs haha

Negative experience: Went for a tour when I was considering joining and I didn't like the look of it at all, the gym area is tiny, mostly uses machines with only a few free weights around. Changing room and shower/spa area was filthy. Seemed to just be a gym for big bodybuilders and that's it. I wouldn't recommend for beginners.

Fantastic experience: Friendly staff and trainers, plenty of equipment and variations of machines and weights! All round great gym to workout in! Classes are enjoyable and there's something for everyone and every ability!
