10th Planet Jiu Jitsu Dublin

Fantastic experience: My last day in Dublin and the opportunity to drop in and roll with the ope mat crew at Abyss (formerly 10p Dublin). Great crew, super friendly as with everyone Ive met in Dublin. Thank you Abyss for having me!!!

Fantastic experience: Extremely welcoming, got some good training while visiting from the states. Danny let me drop into open mat, rolled with me to make sure I wasn't going to be crazy, gave me some good tips on technique. Had some really nice rolls and chats with folks. Gym environment is extremely friendly; the bigger guys know how to avoid just smashing even while giving a hard roll. Several rounds got tapped over and over but never with ego or in a way that felt dangerous. Just good training. Thanks!

Fantastic experience: Danny is a great trainer/coach and really welcoming. The gym is super clean and also kitted out for kick boxing/Maui Thai/MMA. There are showers, changing rooms etc. Suitable for all levels and a great place to learn

Fantastic experience: What a fantastic gym and what a fantastic coach. I spent years trying and retrying BJJ in several different gyms and had several different coaches try to show me things but it just never clicked. Then went to 10th planet and Danny Kennedy easily got through to me. He's the best coach I've ever had and showed me how amazing BJJ can be. I highly recommend anyone new or experienced try 10th planet and roll with Danny. Also the atmosphere is incredible, nicest bunch of people you'll ever meet

Fantastic experience: Amazing group to roll and train with. I came in for an open mat to get a little stress relief while I was traveling. Danny and the rest of the 10th planet crew made me feel right at home. Not only did I get some great training in with some very talented people, but I had more than a couple of laughs as well. If you are traveling through and have time to drop in for an open mat, you won't be disappointed. If you are a local and are looking for a good place to train. I would strongly recommend 10th planet. Talented, knowledgeable, and caring training partners are hard to find, probably because they are already at 10th planet.

Fantastic experience: I dropped in for two classes, and I highly recommend this gym! Danny is a great teacher, and the atmosphere is relaxed and doesn't feel hierarchical, which I quite liked. If you're afraid of injuries there's plenty of guys to have slow rolls with, but if you're more competitive you can also find training partners for that here. Feels like a second home kind of gym. Hopefully I can make it again eventually!

Fantastic experience: Danny and crew welcomed me with open arms on my visit to Dublin, Ireland from the states. Clean, friendly, and tough rolls are a recipe for a great time. Fantastic experience: Stopped in for a trial class last week while visiting from out of town and had a great time! Don’t let the rough back alley exterior fool you, this gym is full of great lads who were kind, welcoming and fun to roll with during the open mat. Danny also gave a great class and taught us some cool techniques that I’m excited to try out on my training partners at home. Would absolutely recommend this gym and am looking forward to visiting again when I’m next in Dublin!

Fantastic experience: I was in Dublin for a few days only for business and dropped in to 10p for a session. I was made to feel so welcome and there seemed to be a definite positive energy at the club. I've done drop in sessions in a lot of clubs and I can say that this is easily one of the most welcoming experiences I've had. The standard of rolling was fantastic and I would recommend 100% this club to anyone. Hopefully see the guys again next time I'm in Dublin.

Fantastic experience: The best No Gi Jiu Jitsu school in Dublin no doubt, great teachers, great location and a great culture among all students. I have trained here for 8 months and have learned a lot in all aspects of life, there are some great role models for all ages. I personally learned a lot about being a man considering I'm one of the younger students (22) but I have seen 15 year olds have great ideals instilled into them. I couldn't recommend it anymore, if you are curious just give it a go, it might just change your life for the better, it has for me.

Fantastic experience: Danny & Ciarán are brilliant at what they do. Very welcoming, fun and professional coaches. Their space is very clean and well equipped. Highly recommended, particularly for beginners who may be intimidated by other Jiu Jitsu or MMA schools.
