Fantastic experience: I’ve been watching my daughter train for a year and saw how Taekwondo helped her build her confidence and fitness. I have also joined the class with another parent. Master Donnelly has great approach to teaching any age group. I’d recommend Elite Taekwondo to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Update 2025/03/10 - Nearly 1.5 years since my daughters joined and 6 months since I joined. Our experience with Master Donnelly as a Taekwondo instructor has been absolutely outstanding. Taekwondo is not just about learning self-defence; it’s about discipline, focus, and personal growth—and Master Donnelly brings all of these elements to life with skill and passion. Taekwondo provides an excellent outlet for energy, encourages physical fitness, and instils values like respect and perseverance. Master Donnelly and his team have a unique ability to connect with students, making every class engaging, challenging, and fun. They are incredibly patient and supportive, tailoring their teaching to meet each student's ability while motivating them to push their limits. For me, as an over 40 year old woman with limited time to exercise due to the demands of work, traffic commute, and raising children, Taekwondo has been an amazing experience. It has provided an outlet for stress and a structured way to stay active amidst a busy schedule, all while allowing me to spend quality time with my children. The engaging, full-body workouts have improved my fitness, energy levels, and overall well-being. I’ve also found it to be a rare and invaluable opportunity to focus on myself, even if just for a few hours a week. Master Donnelly and his team understand the unique challenges adults face and create a supportive environment where students of all fitness levels and ages feel encouraged and motivated. They strike the perfect balance between challenging us to push our limits and respecting the pace of our personal journeys. I’ve noticed significant improvements in both mine and my children’s confidence, physical strength, and coordination. The positive environment that Master Donnelly and his team fosters makes students of any age (min age required) excited to learn and grow. Plus, seeing the values of discipline and perseverance modelled in Taekwondo has not only benefited me but also inspired my children. I wholeheartedly recommend Master Donnelly and his team from Elite Taekwondo to anyone considering Taekwondo, whether for themselves or their children. It's more than just a martial art—it's a way to build strength of body and character and is a way of life. Thank you, Elite Taekwondo, for everything you do! 1st Review - Approx June 2024 My daughters both have different personalities and love to do very different things. It's kinda like having Sporty Spice and Posh Spice in our house. LOL We went to an Elite Taekwando class last October to try it out, and they both loved it. We joined immediately. Taekwando is a great form of physical exercise, and it also helps to improve self-defense skills, mental health, and personal development, which are so important. Master Donnelly and his whole team, including the instructors, leadship team, and admin team, do an amazing job and always have the children's best interests at heart. The girls are now yellow belts, and I have no doubt they will continue on for many, many years. Thank you all so much ❤️

Fantastic experience: My son started with Elite in September and absolutely loves it. In the space of a few months, his fitness, coordination, balance and focus has improved tremendously. It’s even helped improve his soccer. Students are always reminded that courtesy is the most important thing and I am stunned when I’m sincerely thanked after every meal. He was taught that the most important belt is the white belt - the very first belt - because without the white belt, you can never get to the black. He has really taken this advice to heart and it gives him encouragement and resilience. I would highly recommend this class for all kids - you can tell that inclusivity is a priority for the Elite team and it is wonderful to see kids from all walks of life and all abilities working together.

As a parent I love Terry's motivational speech on Saturday after training classes. Hopefully it will all back to normal soon.

Fantastic experience: My son really benefits from the structure of the lessons. He takes part (or has taken part) in other sporting activities but he tends to become over stimulated by all the buzz and doesn't settle into them well. With the Taekwondo, he's able to focus better and he pays more attention to instructions. He loves to go and he loves to be there in time which takes the pressure off us to get him out the door. He always seems to be content when he leaves too which is very positive. I'd definitely recommend Elite Taekwondo Academy, particularly for kids who are over-stimulated in other sporting disciplines.

Fantastic experience: A first class professional outfit. Giving a great foundation to kids in their classes, pushing a positive mindset and encouraging students to be the best they can be. I would highly recommend learning Taekwondo under Master Donnelly and his team at Elite Taekwon do Academy. All through the Covid lockdowns they went to great lengths to keep the kids involved and interested, with Zoom classes for each grade, and even continuing with online gradings over the lockdowns.

Fantastic experience: Elite Taekwondo are a professional, friendly, family run business. Both my kids have attended for the last 3 years and they love it. It's great for their physical and emotional well-being. The academy are super friendly to deal with and each kid is treated like an individual. I would highly recommend Elite if you are considering a martial art class for your child.

My children are all members and have attended Elite for many years.Terry & Mandy are so welcoming and I have recommended them to my own friends who are equally happy to send their own children. The club is a great ambassador to families as all their own children are also involved in all aspects of the club and have themselves achieved their black belts which is great inspiration for any child attending. Fantastic experience: My son Tadhg has been with Master Terry Donnelly since he was five, he is nearly 14 and during this time he has entered national and international tournaments and thanks to the great coaching from Terry and his sons Matthew and Daniel he is now waiting to grade for his black belt (hopefully this June,vivid permitting). The whole set up is extremely professional, Mandy is always keeping everyonein the loop with newsletters and updates and really the whole family are involved which is great and my son thinks very highly of every single one of them. My wife and I could not speak highly enough of the Elite Takwando Academy and I would advise any parent to introduce their kids, male or female to it as it will not only teach them how to defend themselves but also discipline and it will give them great confidence In themselves. Fantastic experience: We moved to Ireland last year and wanted some good activity for our daughters. Our neighbors recommended Taekwondo with Master Donnelly. We didn't know about Taekwondo at all and our English was (and is) not the best, but Master Donnelly and the rest of the team made us feel very welcomed from the very beginning and helped us through the whole process. The girls were and are delighted with the classes, they made lots of new friends and feel integrated. We, as parents, feel they are learning more than a sport, they are learning about themselves, their capabilities, their weaknesses and strengths, how to set boundaries, how to respect others... Also we asked Master Donnelly for advice on some parenting issues we had, and they gave us the best orientation and support. I strongly recommend this academy if you want to learn, enjoy and self develop, yourself and your kids!

Fantastic experience: Our four children have been attending Elite Taekwon-do Academy classes for the past 3 years. It is a great physical activity and teaches them discipline, respect, self-confidence and how to defend themselves in a fun and safe environment. Master Donnelly is a family man who has dedicated most of his life to taekwon-do. He is an extremely patient coach who praises athletes when it is due, disciplines when necessary but more importantly encourages each athlete to reach their full potential. We would have no hesitation to recommend Elite Taekwon-do Academy to anyone young or old who would be interested in taking up this sport.

Fantastic experience: Maria and Harry are currently in their fifth year training under Master Donnelly. They both enjoy the classes hugely and both work hard and have fun while in his classes. Fantastic experience: My Daughter Joined Elite Taekwon-Do in March and she has never looked back! Master Terry along with Mandy and Claire made her feel at ease and welcome from the beginning, she has learned to push her self to overcome her weaknesses and discover her strenghts she is learning self defence, discipline, and most of all CONFIDENCE, she loves going to class & always comes home with a smile on her face, I can not thank master Terry ,Mandy and claire enough for the time they dedicate to my daughter & all the other kids.

Fantastic experience: My son joined Elite Taekwondo in September and has never missed a class - he loves it so much!! Master Terry has a wonderful way of teaching kids - he is firm but fun. The whole team are fantastic - my son has a soft spot for Claire!! He is learning an important life skill in a safe & encouraging environment. I would recommend 100% without question!

Fantastic experience: A brilliant academy for kids and adults . My two sons are in the academy and they both love it. Master Donnelly and his team of instructors make every class enjoyable and fun for everybody. At 40 i recently joined the adult classes and my only regret is that I didn't do it years ago.

Fantastic experience: I started training with Elite Taekwondo Academy when I was 7/8. I'm now 20 and to say I've learned alot in those years is an under statement. Fantastic experience: At the age of 38 joining the Elite Taekwondo adults classes in Balbriggan is something I thought I would never do or have the ability, but having Master Donnelly there to guide you step by step is absolutely fantastic, would recommend this classes to everyone.
