Maynooth Taekwon-Do School

Welcome to the Maynooth Taekwon-Do School, a vibrant community club dedicated to teaching the art of Taekwon-Do to people of all ages and abilities. Established in 2007 under the guidance of esteemed instructor Mr. Gareth Curran (VI Degree), our club is proudly affiliated with the International Taekwon-Do Federation Headquarters in Korea, the home of Taekwon-Do.

At our school, we emphasize the holistic approach of Taekwon-Do, integrating self-defence techniques, fitness, and the philosophy that embodies the martial arts culture. Whether you are a complete beginner or looking to refine your skills, we offer a supportive environment where you can develop both physically and mentally. Our classes are designed to cater to various skill levels, providing a unique opportunity to make new friends while learning valuable self-defence skills.

The core of our instruction focuses on the principles of courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control, and indomitable spirit—teaching our students to excel not just in martial arts but in all areas of life. Our instructors, fully committed to their own continuous professional development, ensure that students receive high-quality training that meets international standards.

Safety is our priority. We take pride in providing a secure environment for all participants, with Garda-vetted instructors and qualified Children's Officers available for younger members.
