Positive experience: Overall, I like this gym, but it's a bit dirty. If you have dust allergies, be careful. It would also be nice if you could buy a separate membership just for the gym, making it cheaper

Fantastic experience: I am a member of this fantastic facility for the past 14 years and it is very much part of my weekly routine. The staff are very friendly and helpful. as I am now an OAP the Retired Active classes help to keep me fit and exercised and are very social, too. Gym equipment and other fitness related gear are changed regularly. However, the locker system and cubicle door locks in the Swimmimg area need maintenance and should be repaired on a constant basis. Shoreline Bray is a valuable asset for all ages of the residents in the area.

Negative experience: Went for a one-off swim here - very disappointing experience. Pool and changing facilities are filthy. Plasters and debris floating in pool. Changing cubicles dirty, rubbish on floor and many doors broken.

The biggest issues are: 1. Limited Pool Time for Pay-As-You-Go Users The swimming pool is only available for 50 minutes per session, even though the adult fee is €8.20. This is poor value for money, especially for those who need more time for fitness or rehabilitation. 2. No Pay-As-You-Go Option for the Gym or a Gym & Pool Combo Unlike the pool, the gym is restricted to members only, meaning casual users or visitors have no access. Many other public leisure centres offer pay-as-you-go gym access, making it more flexible and inclusive. There should also be a pay-as-you-go combination option that allows users to access both the gym and pool in one session, promoting full-body fitness at a reasonable price. 3. No Concession Pricing for Pensioners or Social Welfare Recipients In Ballymun Leisure Centre, I can access both the gym and pool for just €5.80 with a concession rate while on social welfare. Here, there are no discounts for pensioners or social welfare recipients, making it unaffordable for many who would benefit from regular exercise. Recommended Changes for a Fairer System: ✅ A pay-as-you-go option for the gym ✅ A gym & pool combination pass for casual users ✅ Concession pricing for pensioners and social welfare recipients ✅ Longer or more flexible swimming sessions beyond 50 minutes Bray is a welcoming town, but the policies at this centre are anything but. I hope to see changes soon so that everyone can fully benefit from this facility.

Negative experience: Absolute joke, I want to warn people, who go for public swim times, we purchased our tickets at 5pm, changed at the lockers and swam by 5:15. The buzzer sounded at 5:45 and we were asked to get out of the pool. I asked why, apparently the tickets are for an hour. Nobody informed us. In my opinion it's a horrible rip off!!! Never again!

Negative experience: Good equipment in gym, helpful staff, new steam room & sauna but the cleanliness levels have been deteriorating badly over the past year. Black mould in the Ladies Change Room showers & a new shocking low last week: human excrement!!! No staff ticks on the room check & no manager on duty. The place is going downhill fast.

Fantastic experience: Luka and Stephan are both equally just as friendly and catering !!! Had a little caffeine overdose the other day and Luka bought me a popcorn to help with my recovery process !! Stephan consistently brings me water when i’m thirsty from using the sauna and is always up for the chats ! Amazing staff

Positive experience: We go here regularly, but at this point it needs maintenance... The handles and locks on the changing rooms are either broken or non existing. And even though there are signs to tell people not to leave stuff in the changing rooms, most of them do.. So it's not enforced.

Positive experience: Good facilities, nice staff. Has a sauna and steam room. Pool is also good but they book out lanes for lessons too often, so that outside of evenings it's hard to find a time to actually swim; this misdeed is compounded by the fact these folk overrun their time allotments too. There I am, waiting in the open section with the other commoners, hoping to get the jump on a lane but 8pm, the coaches are still taking their sweet time. Noone says anything and that fills me with the rage of a thousand suns. Could also do with cleaning men's changing room floor more often. Also, who's buying popcorn at these places? Anyways, still a decent gym/pool.

Positive experience: Great gym and good facilities. Staff a re lovely. Only issue is the groups of "Bros" hogging machines and gathering in groups on the machines. Other than that a great all round gym.

Negative experience: Very disappointed with it, another lady have to fix the card number when I enter the gym cuz they key they put my number in wrong. they said the whole system on the computer went wrong and took twice of the payment off me for two months, they said they don’t even know when my money will be back. The girl didn’t say I need take a 30 days in advance to cancel the membership so I still have to pay when I want to cancel it. I hope they train their staff more professionally before letting them serve the customers

Negative experience: ZERO STANDARDS GYM. Went there few times and never again... People going onto the gym floors with their winter jackets and bags, never changing, bringing their partners over that sit on machines on their phones just waiting, changing rooms are dirty with dust and dirt so ancient its most likely worth something at this stage [just look at the top of lockers or hairdryer holders in changing rooms], people walking to the pool area in their winter shoes, dangerous equipment [holes in the floor in the squat racks upstairs where youre supposed to stand]. And I would give you a prize if you show me someone wiping the equipment after sweating all over it. Staff holds this place to no standard, even though their rules enforce particular behaviour. The general manager is a lazy, zero responsibility for the place, its falling apart. Should be sacked immediately.

Negative experience: Had really bad experience on a couple occasions in the pool where exactly the same staff member was targeting me with his comments. If it happens again I will have to file a written complain for that bad treatment to stop.

Positive experience: I feel that they really need cleaner floors.

Negative experience: There is potential for this place with the right management I think. Unfortunately, I struggle to find a spot throughout common areas, gym, pool, changing rooms that is even close to what you would consider 'clean'. And it's not the kind of unclean from the day, this place doesn't get a deep clean regularly and it shows. It's dirty in there, the walls, floors, seats, everywhere you look needs a wipe or good clean. Disappointing the as children in our community use the facilities daily, you would think it wouldn't be a hard job to do.

Fantastic experience: Very well organised gym and fitness facilities. The pool is always clean and the water is warm. My advice is just to consult the timetable beforehand as somethimes there are swimming classes and some of the lanes are occupied. There are two gym areas both equipped with everything necessary for a full body workout. The staff is always helpful and friendly. I highly recommend the group trainings, especially spinning with Camile and the aqua fit, which are included into the price of the card. There are options for off peak hours and student discount. Recommended!

Positive experience: Everything required for a good workout. 25m pool, gym, free weights, studios and outdoor pitches with sauna and steamroom for recovery. Building is little tired in places and the usual problems in any facility are there; inability of people to self identify the most fitting swimlane (occasionally challenged by staff but rarely) and sitting on gym equipment for long periods without doing anything (beyond reasonable recovery periods - wonder if they think they will absorb other peoples gains by osmosis....)

Fantastic experience: In for a swim. Locker area could do with some TLC, few doors missing on lockers and changing rooms. Also a few " tw - ats " who can't read the signs in the sauna. "No water or oils" on the coals. Other than that, the front of house staff are friendly and facilities were good. $$$ wasn't to bad - 18 for 2 adults and 1 child under 10. Pool was busy and calm at the same time, and there was plenty of lifeguard coverage. ** update ** much the same as last time. Doors on lockers need attention, doors on changing stalls need attention, floors around the pool had green alge, pools need a little bit of a deep clean. The place doesn't reek of chlorine, which is a good thing! Chap on reception is excellent

Positive experience: The astro pitches need a refurbishment, rock hard astro, some of the flood lights not working and goals inset into the walls are a big no no in my opinion. Never used the gym or pool areas of this place so not able to comment. Ample parking onsite.

Рядом с бассейном шикарный парк. The pool is warm, clean, our family loved it. Changing rooms are spacious and clean. There are saunas. A swimming cap is a must. I recommend. There is a beautiful park next to the pool.

Positive experience: Full of light, space, and friendly people. View to the Little Sugarloaf while you swim. Cheap entry tickets! You don’t have to be a member, just pay and go! 7€ adult, 4€ children. Sauna there too. (Wooden one). Only minus, that the steam room is not working temporarily.

Positive experience: Nice clean gym nice people but they don't implement good gym edicate. Swarms of zombie teens taking over, siting looking at there phone for 25 minutes on a machine without using it, 6 or 7 lads standing around 1 machine not using it and sniggering. More rules required, more signs and staff trained to point out the rules to these cohorts.

Las instalaciones muy bien, está muy completo, hay que ver cuándo hay menos gente para la piscina pero bien.

There online booking system is a little complicated. People leaving there cloths in the changing rooms is really annoying
