SPIN
A low impact, high intensity fat burning cycling experience that improves your cardiovascular endurance and muscle tone. Throughout the class, you’ll pedal at varying speeds and resistance settings while basing the spin experience on musicality, motivtaion and correct technique.
GLUTEGAINS
A high-intensity, glute-focused class designed to help you build and tone your glute muscles. This class combines a variety of exercises such as squats, lunges, and hip thrusts to target the glutes from all angles, while also improving overall strength and conditioning. Led by our expert coaches in a supportive and motivating environment, GluteGains is the ultimate workout for anyone looking to sculpt and strengthen their glutes.
BOXFIT
Based on the training concepts that boxers use to keep fit. Classes may involve a variety of aerobic exercises such as shadow-boxing, focus pad work, skipping and punch bag training.
LIFT
Weight training class which provides a stress to the muscles that causes them to adapt, get stronger and build muscular endurance whilst maintaining tempo and control.
FOUNDATIONS
Teaches you the basics of the 5 main functonal movement patterns. You will learn different variations of the squat hinge, lunge, push and pull patterns. Each class will focus on one of these movements at a tome and will help you gain the confidence to use free weights on your own.
ATTACK
Involves repeated rounds of high intensity effort followed by varied recovery times. Exercises can include a variety of body weight, free weights, medicine balls and battle ropes to increase your endurance and cardio fitness.
CORE
Designed to build core muscle groups while improving posture through performing a variety of floor exercises that both strengthen and tone the abdomen.
CIRCUIT
Full body conditioning that involves endurance training, resistance training, high-intensity aerobics, and exercises performed in a circuit styles format (station to station), similar to HIIT (high intensity interval training).

FUSE Bray: Opinions
Positive experience: Pretty empty during the mornings, good selectio of free weights, empty space and mats, bands and free equipment. In the afternoon its full of gangs of school boys. Machines are always pretty worn out and often take weeks to get repaired if broken, there is no leg ad/abduction machine though lots of empty space. Its always freezing. No tissues to clean down machines only a communal washrag? Showers are not worth using and changing rooms are acceptable though small and you need to bring your own lock. Price is high conserding the offering.

Negative experience: One of the worst gyms I’ve ever signed up to, literally take money out of your account after you’ve cancelled a membership and continue attempt to do so in different ways. The gym itself is nothing to write home about either.

Great equipment and availability of weights. Brilliant, helpful staff that are always willing to help with anything you might need. The place is always kept spotless, I can’t remember the last time I even saw a sweat mark or stain!

Negative experience: They are terrible at maintenance. When a machine, water cooler, shower... breaks, it takes more than 3 months for them to do the maintenance. The showers didn't work for 1 month. They fixed it two weeks ago and this week it still works, but only with cold water. There is a machine that has been broken for 3 months. I asked this week when they would do the maintenance. They said it would be in 3 weeks, and the water cooler is still broken.

I’m pleased to inform you that the hot water issue in the showers was resolved yesterday. We understand how important it is to have fully functioning facilities and are committed to improving our response times.
Regarding the leg curl machine, we are actively working on expediting the repair. We’ve been informed by our engineers that we are currently waiting for the necessary parts, and we are pushing for a faster resolution.
As for the water fountain, we encountered a larger plumbing issue in that area which requires additional work. We are aiming to have this resolved by next week.

FUSE Gym Bray
Negative experience: Wouldn’t even give 1 star if I could! I had a yearly membership with Fuse, and after it expired, they automatically switched me to a rolling monthly membership and started charging me without my consent. Last year, I was given a heads-up that my membership was ending and asked if I wanted to renew, but this year, there was no notice at all. When I raised this issue with them, I was told it was in the "terms and conditions" and that the notice I received last year was just a courtesy. However, the terms and conditions are irrelevant in this situation. If they truly wanted to enforce them, they should have notified me prior to charging me for another month—just like they did last year. The fact that they gave notice last year and chose not to this time proves that they are inconsistent in applying their own policies, picking and choosing when it suits them. It seems more like a convenient excuse for them to charge members without any transparency. The customer service experience was horrendous. I spoke with Dean, the so-called “manager,” who admitted that even as a manager, he couldn’t do much to resolve the issue. He had no customer service skills, and all he did was repeatedly mention the terms and conditions. When I told him I was frustrated, he actually said our conversation was pointless because we were going in circles. How unprofessional! To make matters worse, my husband is experiencing the same issues with them. They claim to respond to emails, but they don’t. I’ve sent several emails that were completely ignored. Fuse clearly does not value its members, and after reading other reviews, it’s clear that this isn’t an isolated experience. The gym itself is in poor condition with broken machines, holes in the walls, and filthy changing rooms/toilets. The only reason we ever went there was out of convenience, but after this experience, I’m happy to say I’ll never return. I will be sharing this experience with everyone I know in Bray and warning others about Fuse. They can probably reply to this review with some generic, robot-like response, but it’s clear they have no genuine customer service to offer. Do yourself a favor and stay away from Fuse Gym. Can’t wait to see what shit they respond with here.

Negative experience: This Gym Has Gone Completely Downhill – Avoid at All Costs I’ve been a member of Fuse Gym Bray for two years, and I can confidently say that the quality of this gym has plummeted ever since Niall left. What was once a well-run facility has turned into a place with zero transparency, terrible customer service, and broken equipment that takes weeks to be repaired. Sneaky Auto-Renewal & Unauthorized Charges My biggest issue with this gym came when they charged my card without authorization, auto-renewing my membership without any notice. I have always paid in full for a 12-month membership, and at no point did I set up a direct debit. Last year, I received a courtesy call about my renewal. This year? Nothing. No call, no email—just an unexpected charge on my card. There is absolutely no consistency from one year to the next, leaving members confused about how they operate. One year they reach out, the next they don’t, with no warning that their process has changed. How are members supposed to know what to expect when even the gym itself lacks any clear or reliable policies? When I contacted them, I was met with excuse after excuse. They claim the auto-renewal policy is in their terms and conditions, but true transparency would mean making this clear upfront—not burying it where most people wouldn’t even think to check, but true transparency would mean making this clear upfront, not hiding it in legal jargon. If they were actually honest with members, this policy would be the first thing you see when signing up, mentioned by staff, or at the very least, followed up with an automatic email reminder. They claim they are transparent, but they refuse to do the bare minimum to keep members informed. Terrible Customer Service & Staff Left to Fend for Themselves When I tried to resolve this, I called the gym 24 times over two days and got no answer. When I finally got through to Dean, the manager, he was completely unhelpful, dismissive, and uninterested in resolving the issue. He just kept repeating the same scripted responses instead of addressing my actual concerns. The excuses about staff being “too busy” to answer calls are laughable. No wonder this gym has such high staff turnover. Employees are set up to fail—left completely unsupported, with no help from their area manager, no authority to make decisions, and their hands tied by ridiculous policies. Instead of addressing these issues, management seems more focused on making excuses than actually improving the experience for both staff and members. Broken Machines & Slow Repairs Beyond the terrible management, the equipment is in awful condition. Machines break down constantly, and when they do, it takes nearly two weeks before anything is fixed. With the amount of money this gym takes from members through their high prices, you’d think they could at least maintain their equipment properly. But as long as the gym is making money, that’s clearly all they care about.. Final Verdict: Find a Better Gym Fuse Gym Bray has gone completely downhill. If you want a gym that actually values its members, maintains its equipment, and provides basic customer service, look elsewhere. This place is just a money grab, with zero accountability and no initiative to improve themselves. They only consider change after a member complains, throwing out a meaningless ‘we’ll take your concern into consideration’—but with no action, no resolution, and no accountability. Edited Just as I thought they have just dismissed my concerns, They have not addressed any of issues they have clearly closed my case with no resolution or even any offering for the trouble this has caused me. Refusing to escalation of my complaint, refusal to provide proof of proper escalation only reinforces my concerns. If this issue has been reviewed fairly, then there should be no hesitation in confirming who has assessed it beyond The manager

Fantastic experience: I joined the ladies FTC bootcamp here and I am loving it. The timetable suits all, some classes being on in the morning, some at lunchtimes and some in the evening. Even if you miss a bootcamp class you have the option with this membership to try out any other classes. The gym is equipped with more than enough machines and weights. Alongside the FTC membership is a free body scan (this gets saved to an app so you can keep track of any changes), nutrition advice (if wanted) and goal setting. Since Katie and Jessica have taken over these classes they have been proactive in getting us to set goals and be accountable in our fitness journey. Thanks ladies keep up the good work! Negative experience: While I love the staff and the amount of space and range of machines, I've noticed lately that a lot of the machines and even bathroom stalls etc are broken and have been for a while. There are holes in the wall on both floors and more than once the water leaked through the ceiling. There's only ever one person on staff between reception, personal training, cleaning etc which I think is a missed opportunity and must be stressful. With a bit of a touchup and more people on staff it could be a great gym!

Fantastic experience: I have recently joined Fuse Brays Transformation Clinic and to say I am impressed is an understatement! The gym it’s self is never too busy in the morning times and is always spotless tidy! The trainers are great and really make you enjoy a workout! Negative experience: Macchine non ben tarate. Clientela indisciplinata e il personale non vigila. Stanno seduti sugli attrezzi per molto tempo. Difatti, ho contato il tempo di un cliente apposta, dai 5 ai 7 minuti di pausa tra una serie e l'altra, totale 26 minuti di attrezzo occupato, senza possibilità di altenarsi con gli altri. Inutile chiedere di fare i turni, perché tanto sono talmente arroganti e indisponenti che nemmeno ti ascoltano. Quasi tutti così. Poi ci sono quelli che si credono superman che vorrebbero sollevare pesi extra, ma, non riuscendoci, fanno cadere il bilancere a terra dall'altezza delle loro teste, facendo tremare tutta la struttura. In tutto questo la gestione è muta. Nella mia città gente del genere sarebbe stata cacciata.
Hello Alessandro, Thank you for your feedback and taking the time to give us a rating. I understand the frustration of poor gym goer etiquette more than most and have instructed the Bray Team to increase floor monitoring and usage patterns from certain members. I would also like to confirm that we have our bi-annual equipment servicing taking place in just 10 days that will re-calibrate, oil and adjust all machinery as part of a preventative service plan we have in al clubs. Positive experience: Good gym overall for its price, classes are great and offer some good scheduling. There aren't many machines available however, and can get really busy in rush hours (which leads to a lot of time to complete your training!)

Fantastic experience: Fuse is more than a gym, it's a community where you meet really nice people while working out. I feel really good after spending time in here. The staff is super polite and helpful. Spin classes with Niall and Jadranka are super good and fun. Also I m doing training with Jadranka , she is an amazing person and very professional. Negative experience: The reason for the 2 stars is that the gym is very small. The whole downstairs is cated for cardio with machines that land up wasting empty space that could be used for additional weight training. The upstairs that is used for weight training only has a limited amount of benches and machines. On busy days you land up waiting to train more than the actual training you need to do. The price of €49/month is not good value for money. I was lucky that I could "Try before you buy". This gym is closer to home but I will rather travel the additional 10 mins to get the space and equipment to train sufficiently.
Fantastic experience: Fuse Bray has amazing instructors! I am really enjoying spin classes. They're filled with motivational speches, weights, fun and good music and are definitely a big plus to this place. One of my friends recommended this gym, and must say, she was right! I am really happy that I can be a part of this cool place!

Negative experience: *OCT 2023 Edit*: all the good coaches are gone. I am looking to move gym next year, it's simply not as good as it used to be. Might follow where the staff went off to... Great gym, small but has all you need including nice and early classes. Good value and friendly staff! *edit: I've had some PT sessions with Jadranka for a while now and am delighted with the progress and how prepared and organised she is. I could not recommend her highly enough. I am really happy how she is prepping me for Hell & Back, got a great motivational boost from our sessions and it helps me train with dedication. Fantastic experience: Great gym. Plenty of equipment and large spaces to workout. Staff are always super friendly and helpful and the changing rooms are immaculate. Definitely recommend! Only ask would be to alter 1 or 2 of the racks so that the lighter of the two sizes of barbells can fit. At the moment they’re too narrow to rest the lighter one on, so you need to always start from the ground.
