We provide specialist, small group training for up to 6 clients at a time. Our sessions are open to all ranges of fitness, all shapes and sizes. Basic offers start with training only. Add ons include monthly body composition analysis, nutrition coaching and specialised training phases (for example: fat loss programme, muscle building plan etc).

Fantastic experience: I've been training with Ciarán for about two years now and really feeling the benefits of his classes. He has been brilliant in tailoring workouts to fit in with back injuries and has really helped with my confidence in the gym. The small classes are really enjoyable and there's always a lovely atmosphere during the sessions. I can't recommend it enough!

Fantastic experience: I can't recommend Ciarán highly enough. I've been training with him 2 to 3 times a week for a year now. I used to suffer from severe pain and sciatica, and in the past, I’d often be pushed too hard in gyms initially which only led to more injuries. Ciarán took a completely different approach. He listened to my goals and concerns, and tailored everything to my needs. Once I regained my strength and was training effectively, I turned to Ciarán for nutrition support, and he provided the best plan I’ve ever followed. I was still able to enjoy the foods I love while making some healthier adjustments, and now I’m the strongest and healthiest I’ve been in years. You’ve restored my confidence, and training in a supportive group setting with other women, where our individual needs are met, has been fantastic. I can’t recommend Ciarán more. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Started training with Ciaran just over a year ago. I was looking for someone who could train me but had a deep understanding of physical therapy too. Ciaran fits the bill. I was looking to build strength and have definitely done that. Even when injured Ciaran encourages attendance as he knows how to work around an injury and keep the consistency of training going. Fantastic experience: I started with Ciaran almost a year now...iv noticed a huge difference... Firstly, for me using a trainer or a fitness facility, the most important thing for me is, I need to feel comfortable, at ease, I don't want to feel intimated, I just want to be comfortable while I train, and I get all of the above from here.. Secondly, I actually have fun while I'm training.. Ciarans ethos is all about been the best version of who you are, and I love this mantra... I'm 49 years of age and have never been as strong as I am now, which is really important for me as I'm starting menopause. I've been part of gyms for years and been to several different trainers, however I feel when it comes to fitness, health, mental health, nutrition, challenging yourself, fun, this place ticks all the box's...

Fantastic experience: I have been training with Ciaran for a number of years. He gives great attention and focus on your training plan and caters for all different levels of fitness. Fantastic experience: ACHIEVING PHYSICAL AND MENTAL STRENGTH: THOSE ARE MY GOALS.... I finally found a Personal Trainer that is focused on helping me to not only achieving my physical goals but also strengthening my will power while exercising. I practise three times a week with Ciaran, and every time I am looking forward to my sessions. Ciaran also ensures that my technique is always correct to avoid any possible injuries. Fantastic experience: Started training with Phil early this year and cannot recommend it enough. A fantastic set up with very attentative training focused on personal goals. Sessions mixed with strength and conditioning and plenty of variety to keep sessions both interesting and enjoyable. Phil and Ciaran are both friendly and enthisiastic to train with and also have a wealth of in depth knowledge when it comes to the technical aspects of training.

Fantastic experience: I've been training with Phil for the last number of years now. It's the fittest I've been in my lifetime. The mixture of strength training and conditioning has been hugely beneficial to me. Phil and Ciaran's knowledge is second to none. They tailor the sessions to suit your needs and make tweaks along the way. The sessions are challenging but incredible enjoyable. The lads have created a really nice environment in the gym, which keeps you motivated to keep coming back. You look forward to the sessions rather than dreading them. I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking to get into shape and also have a bit of fun along the way.

Fantastic experience: Started with Ciaran Foy at the end January, mainly with the intention of solving ongoing back issues and building up strength (along side any physio work). Fantastic experience: Been training with Phil at Ciarán Foy PT for over a year now & honestly couldn't recommend this gym enough. Previous I'd been in & out of gyms for 10 years with zero results. I'm definitely benefiting from the semi PT strength classes. Small groups, enjoyable workout, great craic with fellow members and monthly weight ins using the inbody machine will keep you focused on your personal goals. Both lads have a natural flair for their profession resulting in a great atmosphere in the gym. A really enjoyable place to work out & nice community to be apart of.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been with Ciaran Foy Personal Training for just over two years training with Philly. While the service is what you’d expect from a PT, professional and knowledgeable you get a lot more with Ciaran and Phil. The encouragement to do better, to self improve is genuine. They genuinely care about their clients, they purposely encourage team work which in turn encourages you to keep coming back. This is not a normal commercial gym, everything from cardio to weight training, nutrition and physio too. If you put the effort in with these guys they will change your life.

Fantastic experience: I train with both Phil and Ciarán and have been for a while and I totally love it. They are highly professional, skilled and attentive trainers. The classes vary from cardio to strength and toning but my fav by far are the weight classes. I love how they are split and each week they are different and challenging. The instructors pay attention to each client, correcting you when needed, give recommendations on weights or providing tips when recovering from an injury. They make you feel like they care. And to finish it off, the atmosphere is so so friendly, it makes exercise with Phil and Ciarán a pleasure. I would highly recommend this place! Cecilia

Fantastic experience: I have been training with Phil for many years now. Phil’s enthusiasm and attention to detail in his classes is always consistent and really effective . I suffer with lower back pain . Phil always makes sure that I keep my form correct which has prevented any issues with my lower back and has really helped to strengthened it. Can’t recommended him highly enough . I have also had the pleasure of having some classes with Ciaran which I have thoroughly enjoyed and found very effective .

Fantastic experience: I decided to get back into shape after having 3 children and approaching 40. I train 2 mornings a week with Phil before the kids are up. Although it's hard when the alarm goes off so early, I know I'd only make excuses to not do a class later in the day. Phil is a great PT and gets the best out of his clients, with just the right balance of encouragement and tough love. I leave each class bursting with endorphins. It's been great losing weight and toning up and fitting into smaller size clothes but those happy and positive endorphins are what keeps me committed.

Fantastic experience: I have worked with 7-8 PT’s over the last 15 years and without a doubt the best I have worked with is Phil. He trains me and a bunch of lads, each of us has at least one piece of our body hanging off but he is able to tweak his routines to take that into account. He has a phenomenal attention to detail when making sure your technique is spot on and not causing you damage. He mixes up sessions to keep us engaged and always pushes us to our individual limits without going overboard. He’s also a thoroughly decent and humorous man.

Fantastic experience: I started training with Phil just over 2 years ago as a complete beginner and would honestly never go anywhere else. Whether training privately or in a group, Phil has an excellent ability to assess your level of fitness and personalise a programme to your individual fitness level and goals. Oftentimes, trainers can overcomplicate things with extreme diet plans or jargon, but this has never been an issue with Phil - everything has always been clearly explained in a concise manner. Also, Phil really gets to know his clients and takes a lot of time to check in regularly. Highly recommend Phil regardless of where you are in your fitness journey - I've personally seen great results both physically and mentally.

Fantastic experience: I have been training with Phil for 3 years now. I started out initially for some weight training in the off season of football and have continued since combining both. The gym offers core and cardio sessions allowing me to combine both. The gym has helped me build upper body strength and keeps me accountable to myself. Great environment to train in and I really enjoy the social aspect to it also.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend especially for anyone struggling with back injuries. I started training with Ciarán in March 2023. I was extremely nervous about strength training because of a back injury and was worried about agitating the injury but knew I needed to try and get stronger. Ciarán has been absolutely brilliant! He worked with me at the strength level and comfort level I was at to make sure we minimised the risk of injury but built muscle. Even in group sessions there is never any problem giving me alternative exercises or he will show me ways I can better support my back while still getting strong. I am probably the strongest I have ever been at this stage and the fear of hurting my back is definitely going! Classes are always great fun and even when nervous at the beginning I have always felt challenged. 10/10!

Fantastic experience: Joined about a year ago. Both Ciaran and Phil are super to work with. The classes are varied, fun with the emphasis on correct positioning and lifting weights specifically to each person, so different levels in class is not a problem. They are experienced at what they do, and as the classes are small, they keep a good eye on everyone to make sure the exercises are done correctly. I go twice per week, enjoy the classes and feel the benefit 100%.

Fantastic experience: I decided to look after myself again after I have a child. It has been a few years. I didn’t like how I looked after the baby. Also, reaching a certain age didn’t help. I talked to Ciarán and told him what I want. I am attending a female group exercise which is fun, friendly and very very supportive. After only 3 months of training and changing my diet I started to see some changes. After 6 months I am now stronger, healthier and I like who I see in the mirror again which is a plus! I couldn’t recommend Ciarán and his team enough!

Fantastic experience: I have been attending Ciarán since shortly after retiring in 2018. My diet or weight hadn’t been an issue but fitness and dwindling mussel mass certainly was. I never felt overly comfortable in the various Gyms I had joined over the years and certainly lacked the personal discipline to benefit fully. So switching to personal training was one of the best decisions I have made. Ciarán knows his stuff. The sessions are demanding but in the most positive way. The benefits are amazing. In a couple of months I’ll hit 70. But I am in better shape now than when I was in my fifties and mobility and flexibility even better. I recommend Ciarán Foy training for anyone, but particularly to anyone in their sixties when the saying “use it or loose it” really comes into play. Drugs will keep most of us alive for a decent innings. But quality of life depends on keeping the body in good nick. And that’s why I look forward to my workouts with Foy Training. ( well most of the time )

Fantastic experience: I've being attending one of Ciaran's group exercise classes with four other men, the same age as myself, for the past 10 months. I find the classes challenging but very enjoyable and I am feeling the benefits both in terms of my fitness and general wellbeing. There is good camaraderie within the the class which has a very positive motivational benefit. I have also undertaken a 30 day nutrition programme with Ciaran which makes me more aware of my diet and good eating habits..... thankfully the good results are reflected on the scales.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend ! Have been training with these guys, Ciarán and Phil for almost a year. And the results ....I am stronger and fitter both physically and mentally. I very rarely miss classes as it's become a natural part of my weekly routine. The class is a small group so you have personal one to one training and a programme designed for your capabilities. While we work hard there's also plenty of craic! Highly recommend these guys, they know their stuff !

Fantastic experience: I've been going to Ciaran for a couple of years. He and the other trainers cater for different fitness levels and tailor programmes to help you progress. While I started in one-on-one sessions, I now go in a group of 3/4 that Ciaran put together. It's great fun and an excellent motivator to keep it going

Fantastic experience: I have been training with Ciarán for nearly a year now. He had worked with somebody I knew and I had seen the results first hand and heard how great he was, before embarking on my own journey with him. My main reason for starting was to get fit and lose weight and my initial view was that I would only do this for a few months to help kick start a lifestyle change. However, Ciarán is so good at keeping me motivated and on track for achieving my goals, I keep coming back for more. He is very knowledgeable about food intake and nutrition and he has helped me, and indirectly my family, make very good lifestyle changes. He makes every training session challenging but fun and he is very supportive and encouraging. By combining his one-to-one training with the advice he has given me on food, I feel healthier and fitter and my confidence has also improved too. I’m really thrilled with the results. He is a great guy and trainer and would highly recommend him to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I have been training with Ciarán for nearly 6 months now and I'm really delighted with the results. My main reason for starting was to get fit and to lose some weight. I didn't want to go to a conventional gym as I have knee and ankle problems so wanted a plan tailored specifically to me. Ciarán was great in this regard. From day one, he had me doing exercises that carefully avoided putting strain on the problem areas and I began to notice results immediately. I find the food guidelines so easy to follow and the weight is dropping off at a healthy, steady pace. The food "plan" really suits me as it includes all the food I love to eat and conveniently excludes those I don't! I have consistently continued to lose weight since I started and I feel healthier, fitter and look so much better!! I never thought I'd say this about exercise, but I actually look forward to going and enjoy it when I'm there!! Thanks Ciarán!

Fantastic experience: I've been training with Ciaran for nearly a year now, and I love it. He's very knowledgeable not only about training but food intake also. Ciaran is focused on helping me achieve my goals and makes every session challenging and somehow fun. My fitness has increased noticeably and I’ve seen improvements in my ability to complete more push ups, core exercises, lift progressively heavier weights & generally push myself harder throughout each session. Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Ciaran enough. I found him to be brilliant in all areas of fitness, friendly, and very professional. When I hurt myself doing Hell & Back while in the middle of a programme with Ciaran, he changed the programme to account for my injury, no problem. Also after exhausting physios, acupuncturists etc. trying to sort the knee injury, he offered me physio sessions, and he was the only one that could start me on the right track to recovery. Studying and work got in the way of continuing with Ciaran, but I will be definitely going back to Ciaran in the future.

Fantastic experience: I have worked with a lot of personal trainers and while I have learnt something from them, working with Ciaran Foy is performing at another level. His knowledge, tips, technique and form is phenomenal. Ciaran is great for building your confidence in an environment that is focused on learning and focused on achieving your personal goals, I have a lot of trust in Ciaran. He has a very positive, can do attitude with such an encouraging approach. Working with Ciaran makes you push beyond your goals & brings you on a journey where you realise you are capable of so much more. My personal goal wasn't weight related, but working with Ciaran, we set specific goals including fat loss and mastering particular exercises ... I hit & exceeded every goal I set.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to Ciaran for close on a year now. Prior to finding Ciaran I had been going to the gym randomly with no clear plan or structure to my training. From day one Ciaran clearly identified a set of goals and structure in which to achieve these goals. The session is always tough but fun with Ciaran paying particular attention to the form of each exercise. Since I've attended Ciaran I've gained muscle mass, dropped body fat, made significant strength gains, improved my mobility as well as improving the form on all of my lifts. I couldn't recommend Ciaran any more, whether you are looking to increase strength or lose body fat you will learn a huge amount. If you go to Ciaran, you won't just be getting a good training session but an education in health and fitness as well. 5 stars.

Fantastic experience: Myself and my husband booked a very special holiday earlier this year but we were very unhappy with our weight and our overall appearance. We went to Ciaran with the hope of losing a few inches but came away with so much more. He not only encouraged us fitness wise but gave us tons of advice about eating and nutrition. We were so pleased with the results. We both lost weight dropped inches and we're so much more toned. Ciaran is always so supportive and encouraging but our sessions were also great fun making it so much easier to reach our target. We would recommend Ciaran whole heartily.

Fantastic experience: Ciarán Foy Personal Training is easy to recommend if you’re looking for personal training in Swords. Strength and flexibility training are areas in which all of us can benefit. I’m an experienced recreational runner who was recommended Ciarán Foy Personal Training and wasn’t disappointed. Ciarán’s level of knowledge of how to increase strength and flexibility is extensive and he regularly updates with the latest methods and dietary information. Ciarán was both patient and motivating when he was teaching me the weight lifting techniques and I was confident enough to use them on my own in other gyms whilst away on holiday. Fantastic experience: Working out with Ciarán is extremely rewarding. He uses engaging training methods to make exercising fun and enjoyable. It's never boring or predictable. You will benefit from Ciarán's always expanding knowledge of nutrition, which is a great resource to have. With his help you can change your attitude towards food an healthy eating. If you combine the one-to-one training with the nutritional adjustments, then the body fat will melt away and more importantly you'll feel healthier. If you get stiff or have any niggling pains, Ciarán's got your back. Active release therapy keeps you in working order so you won't have to miss a session due to aching joints and muscles. Fantastic experience: Ciarán Foy Personal Training has been brilliant for me. I initially went to lose some weight and hadn't thought of toning up but in a few months I've achieved my weight loss goal and am striving for more. Ciarán is extremely knowledgeable in his field. He gives excellent advice on diet and lifestyle choices. He has a Facebook page for his clients and we share ideas for meals and snacks. It's like a little community. Another great thing about going to Ciarán is that if you pick up a knock before, during or after training he can treat you. Ciarán genuinely cares for his clients and their well being which I feel is vital. 5 stars sounds reasonable!

Fantastic experience: I couldn't recommend Ciarán Foy more. Very knowledgeable and got my addiction to fitness and health kicked off. Live in London now but I always make sure I book in a session when I get home.
