Fantastic experience: Major upgrades over the last few weeks

Negative experience: Great selection of equipment but the gym is absolutely filthy with dirt and grime. Some wear and tare on a lot of the weight equipment which is fine but very little of the cardio equipment is usable.

Negative experience: I’m only giving 1 star because I can’t give 0 Max Life Gym is, without exaggeration, the worst gym experience I’ve ever had. It’s a disgrace that this place is still operating, let alone charging 50€ a month for what feels like a health hazard in disguise. Let’s start with the hygiene, or complete lack of it. The gym is filthy. No one wipes down machines, the staff never clean, and the floor is literally falling apart. Dust, sweat, and grime are your workout companions there. I’ve never once seen anyone mop, sweep, or even use a Hoover on that gym. You’re more likely to catch something here than burn calories. There is no ventilation whatsoever. No windows. No airflow. The doors are never left open, and the heat is unbearable. Doing cardio here feels like trying to survive a sauna in a straight jacket, I’ve come close to fainting more than once. This environment is not just uncomfortable, it’s dangerous. As for the equipment, most of it is broken or hanging by a thread. Cables are literally exposed, tearing skin if you’re not careful. Machines are patched with duct tape or ignored entirely. Once something breaks, it stays broken. Some machines are missing padding, others have torn foam. It’s like working out in an abandoned warehouse. The layout is laughable. Important leg machines are upstairs, so if you’re training legs, enjoy hauling yourself up and down stairs mid-set. Forget about supersets or drop sets, the gym is not built with any logic or convenience for actual training. Staff? They just sit at reception, staring at their phones not even a hi. Don’t expect assistance, guidance, or even basic concern for safety. Nobody checks on machines or patrons. If you’re injured by faulty equipment, that’s on you. And the location? Remote and inconvenient. If you rely on public transport, brace yourself for a long walk, possibly in the rain, to get to a place that doesn’t deserve a single drop of your effort. The only reason I joined was because of the parking. That’s it. But even free parking can’t justify throwing €50 a month at this disaster. This gym wouldn’t be worth €30. Avoid this place at all costs. You’re better off training at home or in the street than stepping foot into this neglected, overpriced dump. Max Life Gym is an insult to the concept of fitness. Update: The only incorrect detail was the price of the membership that I mixed up from the place that I am going next which is 69€ a month, I’ve already updated the review, except the price, all is correct that is the only thing you can complain about. You should give a full refund to all the members not only for me, because it’s atrocious that gym and the pigsty that you make the members to train around. No refund was given, gym will never change as the management is bad and lacking.

Positive experience: Gym is OK, not too crowded and great variety of machines. ABSOLUTELY NO CLEANING is done, ever. Plus, certain machines have been broken for months and not fixed. Sometimes I wonder why I keep coming to this gym. Changing room is absolutely disgusting and there's dust and garbage all over the gym. See the photos...

Positive experience: Machines: Good selection but quite a few are falling apart and some a out of order for weeks/months Free weights: Good selection of barbells and dumbbells, some are a bit wonky Cardio: Good. Usually not a problem finding a treadmill or cross trainer Maintenance: Very poor! Benches, machines, handles falling apart and should be replaced and fixed. Some are literally just missing a screw Cleanliness: Pretty poor. The men’s showers are beyond disgusting Price: Ok. Signing up fee makes no sense since it’s done by the customer. Plus points for using a pretty good app Opening hours: Pretty good. Early close weekends but it’s ok Vibe: Not bad, can be crowded but there is enough equipment to stay busy Overall: Has potential but needs a lot tlc

Negative experience: I have been a member here since it basically opened and I was happy for the majority of it. Last couple of months machines have broken and there is no progress at all in fixing them. It’s annoying because I enjoy the gym but if I’m paying full amount for 1/4 of the machines being out of order it’s ridiculous.

Fantastic experience: I want to sincerely apologize for a recent review I wrote about Brian, the owner. After meeting him in person, I found out that I was misinformed. Brian wasn’t involved in the situation at all, as i was told by the staff, that he had called the guards, but it was actually a member of the staff that did that. Brian has always been kind, welcoming, and accommodating to everyone, including me, and I regret any misunderstanding or confusion my words may have caused. This gym is truly an excellent place to train, and I genuinely appreciate everything Brian does for its members. I will see you there soon

Since the start the Founder and CEO made huge efforts to bring this fantastic place to excellent level. Fantastic experience: Very professional and nice gym, excellent staff.

Negative experience: Good gym. Could use more squat racks and bench press benches. Also needs better temperature control during really hot and cold temperatures. Staff are very friendly. Parking can be difficult depending on when you train. Update 2025: Gym has gone downhill, there's never any cleaning done. There's almost no maintenance being done on broke equipment. No new equipment added and plenty of useless machines taking up space that are never used. Old review was 4 stars would love to see it improve.

Positive experience: The gym is spacious, clean, has plenty of great equipment, they even play decent music. Staff are prettty friendly too, most of them... Would definitely recommend the place!
