Fantastic experience: I booked a physical assessment with Erik in June, after a consultation about my health and fitness goals. I hadn’t exercised in a long time and wanted to create a routine I could actually commit to and take my health seriously. Erik has an academic background in physical education and sports science, along with qualifications in personal training and years of industry experience as a personal trainer. He’s incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about supporting people in a professional, kind, and approachable way. At no point did I feel embarrassed or uncomfortable as everything was explained clearly and thoughtfully, helping me understand my body and movements in a whole new way. The health and fitness assessment was extremely thorough, covering body composition (muscle mass, fat levels, water levels, metabolic rate), endurance, posture, mobility, and heart rate. It was far more detailed than anything I’ve ever experienced. I learned more in the assessment than I had in years of gym classes and dieting attempts. Following the assessment, Erik provided a detailed report and created a tailored plan for strength, conditioning, and mobility that suited my body and abilities - not just a generic routine. He explained and demonstrated everything so I felt confident using different exercises and machines, knowing exactly how they benefit me. I started working with him afterwards for private personal training, and it has been fantastic. He’s so thorough and keeps track of all my improvements which is such a boost to someone who’s only just now gaining confidence in their abilities. Since working with him, I’ve noticed real improvements in my posture, body composition, heart health, and energy levels. Mentally and emotionally, the difference has been life changing as I now have more energy, I’m more in touch with my body and how it responds to different exercises and machines, as well as what I can do based on my energy levels. Whether I’m tired or energised, I always feel a million times better after any sessions with him. Overall I feel stronger, healthier, and more positive. I couldn’t recommend Erik highly enough. Whether you’re completely new to exercise and want to create an exercise routine, need some confidence to go to the gym, you’re returning after an injury, or simply want to better understand your body and get a health assessment, Erik is a true professional who genuinely cares about helping people. Working with him has been one of the best decisions I’ve made for my health and quality of life.

Fantastic experience: Really enjoyed training with Erik - I’ve been recovering from a shoulder injury and Erik really helped me to heal faster and to still hit my workout goals! Fantastic experience: I started training with MFITIE during the pandemics, at home with online support. I couldn't be happier for choosing the right personal trainer for my needs. Erik has follow up all my steps and made me learn how to the exercices I needed to lose weight and get fit! Fantastic experience: Very knowledgeable professional who prepared me for different sports/ events I have planned. Her assessment was meticously executed and she's always able to explain the reason behind exercises and training plans. Their app is also very handy.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been visiting Flyefit in Portobello for about one year now and it’s been amazing for me. The staff are really helpful and friendly. I would like to highlight one of the personal trainers, Mariane de Freitas for being a light during my weight loss and gaining muscle phases. Her classes are always 10 out of 10.

Fantastic experience: About an year ago I decided it was time for a big change of life style, having Mari as my PT was essential to achieve such a goal. I can't thank Mari enough for not only training me but also helping me to develop a sense of confidence while using the equipments. I love the way she explains the exercises, focusing not only on the movement itself but also on our body perception.
