Fantastic experience: I had the privilege of attending Patrick McKeown’s Instructor Training Course just outside Zurich in May. I was fortunate to be included after doing Buteyko training sessions with a coach in Zurich and asking about certification options. To be honest, I went in not quite knowing what to expect — and feeling a little out of my depth, coming from a full-time corporate background. Our group of around 50 participants included medical professionals, bodywork therapists, and even a Paralympian — a truly inspiring mix. The course was intense, comprehensive, and deeply enriching, with plenty of opportunities to practise and embody the principles of the Oxygen Advantage method. Patrick is not only brilliant and technically gifted, but he teaches with as much heart as intellect. His dry humour, humility, and genuine passion for helping others made the experience even more impactful. Our lifelong access to the platform and access to Patrick makes it all the more motivating, and gives you a sense of community. I haven’t yet started teaching, but being part of the OA family continues to inspire me to integrate what I’ve learned into my daily life — and to share it with others. I’ve already begun educating friends and family, and one of the greatest joys has been watching my young children start to use terms like “diaphragmatic breathing,” “nasal breathing,” and “CO₂ tolerance.” I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to learn directly from Patrick and look forward to continuing my journey — attending more courses and deepening my understanding of the incredible power of breath.

Fantastic experience: I recently attended a three day course with the Oxygen Advantage and Patrick McKeown, and it was absolutely fantastic. Patrick is a top-notch instructor, truly at the top of his game and the entire experience was professional and well organised. The team were incredibly supportive, and the catering was excellent. I cannot fault a single thing about the course if you're considering it, don't hesitate-just go for it. It's life changing and you won't regret it.

Fantastic experience: I just attending my first Oxygen Advantage training and all I can say is it was life changing! Patrick is an incredible teacher and I am amazed that this training isn’t a part of everyone’s schooling! Thank you thank you thank you!!! Fantastic experience: If you're reading this review, you probably don't need any convincing about the teachings and techniques of this method, so I'll speak of the training itself. The Oxygen Advantage team, directed by Patrick McKeown, is an all-star crew. The supporting staff is kind and welcoming. The food served at lunch is delicious. Patrick himself keeps you engaged and at the edge of your seat during the course. There's so much knowledge being imparted and practical applications demonstrated, and you're constantly ready to learn more. I have done the two trainings offered by this clinic so far, and I wish there was a third training so I'd have an excuse to go back.

Fantastic experience: I recently completed the Advanced Instructors course with Patrick in Galway. It was exceptional. Patricks level of knowledge is incredible. He has a lovely delivery style and the balance between theory and practical is perfect. You will leave with a depth of understanding and confidence in everything he teaches. It is not an exaggeration to say it is life changing stuff. I look forward to improving my own health and sharing that knowledge with my clients so they can reap all the benefits of what I've learned during this course. Breath is precious, don't waste it!!!

Fantastic experience: Fantastic 3 days with Patrick and his team. Course delivered was an eye opener for me, insightful and full of amazing content and cannot wait to be able to deliver this to our patrons here at District in Cork as well as family. One thing though I would like to add and its not a negative is to perhaps when sitting for long periods to get the group to do some lower back and hip openers every 30-40min or so (Frogs- ZUU) however that's just a side note. Would recommend this to everyone so Thank You for a great 3 days and lovely to meet so many like minded people, we had a lovely group.

Fantastic experience: This is very professional yet human course / Centre. The staff and course leader were friendly & again professional. The lead up to the course involves well conducted communication. The Centre is pleasant and perfect for the concept that is being presented. The cleanliness and fresh atmosphere are signs of the detail that goes into this very enjoyable experience. It feels effortless, but it's obvious a lot of background preparation has created this feeling. The food was a lot better than I imagined, yet never central to the day. The weather was mixed, yet that was never important. The content was the focus, and the learning atmosphere was dynamic. I am grateful to all the staff & Patrick, and also the other wonderful participants. More importantly I was inspired.

Fantastic experience: 10 days ago I had my first instructor course at the Oxygen Advantage Institute with Patrick and am still blown away by his expertise, the amount of tools and methods that are covered in those 3 days and last but not least the atmosphere that comes along with the people attending but also the working staff and Patrick. One of the best (learning) experiences in my life so far. Highly recommended. I will be back....

Fantastic experience: If you're thinking of doing the Oxygen Advantage training - I'd wholeheartedly recommend that you do it in person in Ireland with Patrick. It's a beautiful setting and you're well looked after by the team for the duration of your stay. Fantastic experience: The Oxygen Advantage center is located in a beautiful expanse in the Conemarra. The training you receive from Patrick is solid and you immediately notice that he brings his knowledge with love and conviction. The Oxygen Advantage Method has been increasingly substantiated by scientific evidence, and then being taught this by the founder makes you eager to spread it yourself. Be warned: entering here increases the risk of being bitten by this Oxygen Advantage virus. Also, a shout-out to the entire organization which is very finely organized.

Fantastic experience: This was a fantastic, well orchestrated, highly researched, and perfectly delivered course. Patrick is not only a fountain of knowledge on the subject, but his delivery comes from the heart and without ego. His course was comprehensive, accessible, and provided us students/practitioners with gold standard resources to facilitate our own workshops, teachings, and clients. I feel this teaching is not only timely but essential in the growing area of breathwork in that it teaches us what is really going on and the most intelligent optimal way of enhancing our health, performance, and lives in general. We were so well looked after and catered for (in the stunning venue) that it felt like we were at home. I cannot wait to start my teaching journey on this subject and I feel I have gone to the best to learn. Fantastic experience: Wonderful Instructor training course with Patrick. I really loved the facilities deep in the Galway countryside and delicious lunches. The surrounding area was super picturesque. I was staying in a van, and the local campsite was great, but equally i stayed on site for a night and was extremely grateful for this too. Fantastic experience: So brilliant to have returned to the OA course after the Buteyko training earlier this year. Patrick's training provides the full spectrum of breathing theory and also practical and role play which I really found helpful. The team there are brilliant and the lunches are very healthy/tasty and of course the setting is lovely (more so in May than January mind!) I was lucky enough to train in a group that connected really well so the socialising in the mornings (sea swims) and in the evenings in Galway was a great highlight! Having peer support in the group you trained with for the case studies post-training is amazing. Looking forward to bringing Patrick's work to myself first and then my athletes and other clients! Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: The experience of the Oxygen Advantage course was everything I had expected it would be and much more. The course itself, I knew would be challenging, hugely interesting and affirming. Having done a Buteyko course with Patrick, albeit online, I knew those adjectives to be true. However, it was everything else, which allowed you as a participant to get the most out of the experience. From being picked up and dropped off where I was staying by Nikki and enjoying the friendliness she, Clare & Caroline, two fellow participants offered, was a wonderful start. Seeing the venue for the course in such beautiful surrounds, with the venue itself offering a comfort and practicality. Meeting 27 other participants and discovering their rationale for joining the course and the energies they brought with them. The generosity of spirit with Patrick and his team, the time they gave us and the materials they shared. Finally the food. Home cooked with all the nutritional values you would expect, with a beautiful array of colour, texture and flavours. It has challenged me, excited me, and given me so many ideas, thoughts and actions to take with me into my own business. I hope you can tell, I liked it quite a lot.

Fantastic experience: Patrick McKeown and his Team are second to none and I am grateful to them all for providing a memorable experience. The entire structure of the 3 day Oxygen Advantage Advanced Instructors Course was excellent. A balance of essential respiratory physiology theory combined with well structured practicals taught by Patrick made the coursework accessible, regardless of your previous training or background. Not only was the course syllabus very well delivered, but we were all pleasantly surprised by the incredible hospitality provided by his staff and family members. The lunch provided each day was better than anything I received at my hotel. I would highly reccomend this course. I plan to apply the appropriate techniques I've learned to the diverse range of complex clients / patients I work with each week. In addition, I'm personally using the nasal breathing and breath hold techniques to improve my fitness and VO2 max for running. Fantastic experience: A course with a very important message delivered in a friendly and enthusing way. Patrick clearly knows his stuff and altough some of it is quite scientific and 'deep' he has a very good and easy manner of getting the underlying messages across. Each and every exercise was explained very clearly - not just as in how to perform but very importantly also what the purpose and impact of the exercise was. I came away with a much better understanding of everything behind the theory of why my breathing is so important.

Fantastic experience: Patrick’s informative book, The Oxygen Advantage, is definitely a Paradox! My Practicing “Breathing Light to Breathe Right” exercises for a couple of weeks has proven the paradox to be true. And through the day, proper light breathing has me less apprehensive and more energy on the job. I strongly suggest to all you Peeps that may suffer from nasal or bronchial discomfort, or feel sluggish, to investigate what the Oxygen Advantage has to offer. Peace Love
