Yoga is for everyone, regardless of your age, size, gender or fitness. There is no one way to practise yoga, every person has a different story and every body has its own unique requirements. We try to nurture the health of every individual. Try it for yourself.
Purely Yoga is a haven for all to escape the busy hustle + bustle of city life. It’s a place where people come together to share the experience of yoga. To stretch, strengthen or relax and unwind or to create a routine in ashtanga. A place to be you.
Our Aim at PURELY YOGA is to help you achieve the best from your practise. We teach a broad range of Yoga styles & Pilates classes in a great environment. All classes are tailored to suit you. If you can’t find a class on the timetable to suit you, we can arrange private sessions or you can organise your own group classes. We also offer corporate classes, after school programs, and classes as part of the PE curriculum.
Schedules are updated monthly so please check the timetable to find a class at a location and time which suits you. If you can't find anything on the schedule we can try to organise something for you..
BABY & TODDLER REFLEXOLOGY: A loving touch. This is added in to the baby yoga class however if you want more you can book private baby or toddler reflexology for one on one attention.
GROUP AND CORPORATE YOGA CLASSES: Also available are small group classes, working on the specific needs of the group and corporate classes, perhaps you want a lunchtime class in your place of work.
GIFT VOUCHERS AVAILABLE: A thoughtful Christmas or Birthday present for your loved one - either a course of lessons or perhaps a few private lessons to get anyone started.
Yoga as we all know it is aimed to unite the mind, the body, and the spirit. Yogis view that the mind and the body are one, and that if it is given the right tools and taken to the right environment, it can find harmony and heal itself. Yoga therefore is considered therapeutic.
Everyone finds it difficult to relax and unwind sometimes, here is a simple technique to help you wind down: MEDITATION: Sit up straight, place both feet flat on the floor. Close your eyes. Begin to focus your attention on reciting, either loudly or quietly to yourself, a short mantra or positive statement such as “I am relaxed” or “I can let go” or anything you feel will work for you. Place one hand on your stomach and begin to sync your breath with your positive statement. Breathe in nice and slow, and breathe out nice and slow, (you might find it beneficial to count your breath (count to five as you inhale, and the exhale for the count of 5). Begin to let any distracting thoughts drift away and allow your tensions melt away.
We offer a wide range of classes to suit every level and ability and if you can’t find anything to suit, we can offer personalised sessions either in our studios, or the comfort of your own home.
