Fantastic experience: Carmel's classes have been so enjoyable and beneficial since I started in the class at 29 weeks pregnant. I look forward to the class every week. Would 100% recommend Carmels class to any pregnant person or parent!

Negative experience: I did the baby and yoga with Carmel and I was extremely disappointed with the class. Very chaotic, always running late and we didn’t actually do much yoga. Great if you want to meet new mums and have a chat.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry to hear that the class did not meet your expectations. Our postnatal yoga course is designed as a supportive group experience that combines movement, mindfulness, and connection. The first 15 minutes of each session are intentionally relaxed to give mums and babies time to settle in. This phase can take a little longer in the first couple of classes as the mums get to know each other. This creates a calm environment where we can then begin the physical yoga practice, which builds week by week. The final part of each class is dedicated to mindfulness and guided relaxation to support mental and emotional recovery after birth.
We understand that everyone’s needs are different, and while many mums find this format helpful and enjoyable (as reflected in our many positive reviews), it may not be the right fit for someone seeking medically supervised or individual rehabilitation. In such cases, we always recommend private sessions, which can be tailored to specific health concerns.
While we don’t normally offer refunds for our courses, we made an exception in your case based on the medical information you shared after joining. We do value all feedback and are always looking for ways to improve our offerings.

Fantastic experience: I’ve loved having Carmel as a yoga teacher during my pregnancy. Looked forward going to her classes every week, always felt better after going not just physically but in every other sense. She is very knowledgable on all things related to birth and pregnancy which introduced me to a whole new side of pregnancy and am so grateful for!

Fantastic experience: The prenatal yoga classes for mums to be are fantastic. Carmel offers gentle stretches, breathing exercises, and relaxation techniques. Carmel really creates a welcoming and safe space. A great way to stay active, relieve tension, and connect with other mums to be! I really enjoy the classes :)

Fantastic experience: Lovely relaxing and inclusive class for all stages of pregnancy.
Fantastic experience: I joined Carmel's pregnancy yoga classes at 20 weeks pregnant and have continued throughout my pregnancy. It's great to meet others who are having the same experience and to share advice and tips. The stretches and breathing techniques covered in the class are really valuable. As my pregnancy has progressed the classes have really helped with any aches and pains and with getting a good night's sleep! I would highly recommend attending the class.

Fantastic experience: The pregnancy yoga class with Carmel is something I look forward to each week☺️ ♀️ She creates a very relaxed and enjoyable class with her friendly and warm personality. At the beginning of each class by allowing the girls to share how you are feeling, sharing stories and advice.. Learning how to breathe properly, the focus on stretching muscles affected by pregnancy and on building up your strength in preparation for labour really helps eliminate the aches and pains associated with your growing bump. As a first time mum I would definitely recommend Carmels classes!

Fantastic experience: I can’t recommend Carmel’s pregnancy yoga classes enough. I have attended Carmel’s classes for all of my pregnancies, and now on my third I am still learning and benefitting from Carmel’s wealth of knowledge. This class helps to prepare both your body and mind for birth and beyond and is such a safe and supportive place to discuss all things pregnancy related with a welcoming and understanding group.

Fantastic experience: Would really recommend attending the antenatal yoga classes with Carmel. Her classes are a supportive space for expectant mums and she is highly knowledgeable in this sphere. It’s such a lovely outlet, practicing movement and breathing techniques which will hopefully come in handy when the day comes! The classes are tailored to those attending depending on what symptoms people have - PGP, back pain, sciatica etc. I would say it’s accessible to all regardless of prior yoga experience.

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Carmel's Pregnancy Yoga classes highly enough! At the beginning of each class, we have a brief check-in where everyone shares how their week has been and any challenges they've faced. This opens up a supportive space where we often find others experiencing similar things, and we exchange valuable tips. Carmel is incredibly attuned to the group's needs and frequently adjusts the session based on what we're collectively experiencing. For example, if many of us are dealing with sciatic pain, she’ll tailor the class to focus on exercises that bring relief. The sense of validation and community is visible in every session. Even on evenings when I feel tired or unmotivated, I leave the class feeling refreshed, renewed, and grateful that I attended. I definetly recommend these classes to any expecting mums, really! I started at 13 weeks pregnant and now, at 29 weeks, I'm still learning, growing, and gaining so much from each session. Thank you, Carmel, for creating such a wonderful, supportive environment. Your classes have been an invaluable part of my pregnancy journey!

Fantastic experience: I began pregnancy yoga with Carmel at 19 weeks pregnant and continue to attend (I’m currently 32 weeks!) As a non-yoga goer in the past as I am not very flexible or very good at “connecting” with my body/breathing/switching off, I was not expecting to stay for such a long time attending classes. Yoga would not be my first choice of exercise however I quickly changed my mind after starting pregnancy yoga with Carmel. My usual gym workouts of HIIT and weight lifting had to take a backseat during pregnancy which allowed me to spend more time at yoga classes. It has already benefited me so much for mindset and general technique/breathing and the classes are so educational, safe and relaxing. Carmel allows everyone to have an opportunity to talk and share experiences which is also great for new mums to be who may be feeling lost and allows for social interaction. Leaving a yoga class with Carmel you will feel refreshed and rejuvenated with a positive outlook for the evening ahead. There is an element of relaxation at the end of each class which allows you to practice gratitude and mindfulness- a must during a pregnancy journey which is so full of ups and downs. Fantastic experience: I love going to my antenatal yoga classes with Carmel; she’s incredibly knowledgeable and a really calming teacher. I always sleep so well after her classes, and I love how she facilitates great chats with the other moms-to-be at the start of each class. I’ll certainly miss her antenatal classes when baby arrives!

Fantastic experience: I started yoga with Carmel, thinking it was going to help me stay fit during my pregnancy. What i got was a whole lot more. Carmel has a wealth of knowledge and experience when it comes to yoga, pregnancy and birthing. Using the skills Carmel taught me, I was able to have a completely natural birth and I'm lucky enough to be able to say that I enjoyed the experience of giving birth. Now, I continue to attend Carmel's classes with my little one. Carmel is teaching me how to restore my body, after the rigours of pregnancy, and I get to enjoy the company of other Mams and babies too.
