Fantastic experience: The best place ✨✨

Negative experience: Nice gym but extremely hot. Outside it’s 14 degrees and inside at least 28 degrees, ac doesn’t work and there is no ventilation.

Fantastic experience: BD Gyms Carlisle is hands down one of the best gyms I’ve ever been to. The facilities are top-notch, but what truly sets it apart is the incredible staff. Every trainer I’ve encountered has been professional, welcoming, and genuinely supportive. They create such a positive atmosphere that it makes coming to the gym something to look forward to, not a chore. I have to give a special shoutout to Baz and his spinning class – absolutely next level! His energy is contagious, and his playlists keep the momentum going even when your legs are burning. Baz pushes you to give your best without ever making it feel intimidating. Whether you’re a beginner or more advanced, he meets you where you are and helps you level up in a fun and motivating way. All the classes at BD Gyms Carlisle are brilliantly run, with instructors who clearly love what they do. It’s a real community vibe, and it’s obvious that everyone – staff and members alike – supports each other. Highly recommend if you’re looking for great workouts, fantastic people, and a gym that truly cares. ‍♂️

Fantastic experience: Really good facilities and staff are always really kind and helpful

Negative experience: Great gym but one big problem. They need to sort their entry cards. They are now punishing people: no card - no entry. If you have to go to these lengths to establish these types of rules, do you not think that the system you have in place is the problem and not the customers? How about investing and making an app on a phone or something that clips on to keychains so people wouldn’t lose them? Oh and they charge 10eur each time you forget your card - its mandatory to get a new card or like I said - no entry! The management seriously needs to think about the decisions they are making!

Positive experience: Gym would be perfect if it had air conditioning - I was shocked to find out that a gym of this size has no air con. I had to leave a couple of times due to feeling ill because of how hot it was. I haven't had one comfortable session here since I joined, it really taints the overall experience. Hopefully this can be looked at!

Positive experience: New gym floor set up is amazing, pitty they never brought the sauna and steam rooms back. Showers are way too hot and cant control temperature, quite annoying when trying to cool off after a workout.

Positive experience: Great gym for its price, love the new renovation. Has most equipment, enough station and racks, shower are decent tho cant change the tempature of shower. Has refillable water and is open 16 hours during the weekdays. Not bad, 4 stars if being honest.

Fantastic experience: It is a well maintained gym with an excellent variety of exercise machines . The membership fee is also very reasonable and cheaper than most of the others in Dublin

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love this gym, staff are so friendly & helpful a brilliant place to train at any hour of the day as the amount training equipment ( free weights / cable machines ) is 2nd to none absolutely loads to choose from. I have have been in numerous gyms over the years but BD GYMS tops the list, when you walk through the doors the " low glare " lighting is fantastic on the eyes... music just brilliant to get you pumped up. I've also seen equipment in other gyms broken or just " not in use" .. here.. the equipment is well maintained and always in use. ADDED BONUS : Carparking is absolutely brilliant as a lot of gyms in the city have very little or no parking at all, finally.. .the cleanliness of the gyms 10/10 ...is spotless & a big shout out to ALL the cleaning staff, the locker rooms, showers, sinks & changing area are spotless. I would highly recommend joining this gym for all of the above plus the low cost and options of payment. Well done all.

Fantastic experience: I joined this gym last year and have nothing but good to say about it .. the staff are lovely equipment clean and changing rooms always spotless .. love the classes. The girls Laura and Melissa are great instructors love there classes and music .. Lads great to !!! Nothing like a Melissa spin class or a Laura circuit to put you through your paces ..

Fantastic experience: Brilliant gym. Great atmosphere the minute you walk in, Always happy friendly faces behind the desk! Melissa and lauras classes are great the girls are so nice and offer so much helpful information. Keep up the hard work everyone

Fantastic experience: Love this gym affordable and has everything you need . Equipment well kept and staff friendly.. love the classes !!! especially the girls Mellissa and Laura . Although I moan and joke with them how hard classes are .. I always feel great after them . They always on hand for advice.. thank BD gym and staff of course !!

Fantastic experience: Great gym .. amazing equipment .. can get very busy ... the staff just stand around talking to each other and walk past people using equipment unsafely! The ramps in the car park are so bad they are so high I'm worried the engine will drop out of my car

Regarding “Laura Halford” she is extremely immature and unprofessional and is not suit for management when it comes to communication with clients as she lacks communication skills and manners. Previous staff members like Dan, Nicole, Gavin they were very professional and excellent at their job. I hope Laura will improve her communication skills like previous management.

Fantastic experience: A really excellent modern well run gym,not familiar with all gyms but if there is a better one I'd like to see it

Fantastic experience: Love it, great parking, many varieties of machines, and the price is unmatched

Negative experience: The staff, one woman in particular I believe her name is Laura was very rude and shouting at other customers. When I went for the spin music class, the music was obnoxiously loud. I liked it when it was more professionally run when BD was alive because now there doesn't seem to be any proper management. You'd be better off at the FlyeFit.

Positive experience: The gym itself is class, the equipment is all new and modern. Loads of squat racks, treadmills, loads of weights etc. Areas are huge, great free weights section, great warm up/functional area. There's a section in the middle for doing hyrox based stuff! Two downsides, the car park and the ramps in it and having to do a whole lap of it and the changing rooms are the originals and haven't been updated like the gym floor.

Fantastic experience: Huge Gym. Quite hectic and difficult to get a full work out in during peak hours but vast selection of equipment. Physio and juice bar on site.

Fantastic experience: Just joined 2 months ago. Gym is nice and clean. I lost 2 kg in 4 weeks since I got a personal trainer Noel. He gave me a meal guide and told me to hydrate. It makes such a difference. I feel so lean. Thank you so much I can't wait for the results next month. I'm going away and I will finally be confident to show some skin

Positive experience: In fairness to be honest I don't like it anymore and I just joined yesterday but unfortunately I won't back there anymore. I need the swimming pool in order to swim and because I need it after my road accident. I thought the swimming pool was still there as it was before but unfortunately it isn't. I am speechless when my first visit yesterday and I am really disappointed it is such a bad idea to take off the swimming pool, really disappointed

Fantastic experience: I really really miss the pool and the motto here :"( but it's definitely the best gym I've been to in Ireland, and the staff have always been extremely regulation cautious and helpful! The hours are really good too :)

Fantastic experience: Showers are back and lockers in the back so we can change in piece! Guys new personal trainer has joined the team! I've seen him training per the years there and now he coaches too. I just had my first consultation with him and he has smooch knowledge but he is so friendly. I can't wait to start new training programme! Highly recommended coach Noel McNeill.

Fantastic experience: A really good gym. Good compromise between price and quality. Of course You find much better gym but for much more money. Here it's everything what you need big gym, swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, spin classes, yoga classes. Ewuipmrmt its in good condition It's clean and stuff it's friendly. For me expectations it's excellent. I used to to come to Westwood gym but now I know I was overpaying for that.
