Macha Yoga Studio & Holistic

Fantastic experience: I am delighted I have found Macha Yoga Studio. From the moment I stepped through the door, I felt at home. It is so unique, being set in a beautiful Georgian house with high ceilings. You can tell how much love has been put into the space. The teachings are traditional and authentic, full of great wisdom. I do not live nearby, but I travel to attend this studio.

Fantastic experience: After 3 years going to Macha Yoga studio I can feel the huge positive impact on my journey. I have been in different classes and teachers, cacao ceremonies and workshops and every experience is unique.

Fantastic experience: After getting into consistent toga for a while in another studio, I was sad to hear it was closing down and I was now 'yogaless' a friend suggested macha yoga and I was delighted to find this studio. Alice is a great teacher and the atmosphere at the studio is very warm. Welcoming and light hearted. Highly recommend this place for great yoga classes.

Her approach to yoga is often interspersed with very interesting references to the seasons and other spiritual events- I always come away from my classes feeling rejuvenated and reenergised!

Fantastic experience: Matcha yoga studio is an amazing addition to Bray. There's a great selection of different styles of yoga that you can choose from. For me there's a perfect mix between physical challenges and spiritual harmony. I would really recommend anyone to this studio, there's something for everyone

Fantastic experience: I attend yoga classes with Aoife and have done so for years. I absolutely love her classes. Every week Aoife brings something new to the mat that keeps me coming back . There are two classes on a Saturday so that all levels are catered for . It is a wonderful way to start your weekend and you will leave refreshed, positive and strong ready to face whatever challenges might lie ahead or quite simply to chill and enjoy your weekend . I would thoroughly recommend trying out any of Aoife’s classes .

Fantastic experience: I just love Macha Yoga! Alice and her lovely group of teachers have created a truly holistic experience. Every class is different with themes following the seasons, lunar cycles, Celtic festivals or simply the mood in the room. Understanding the context of why you might be feeling those energy highs and lows and how certain postures may act as a counter balance seems to help the rest of the week to just be a little bit better. Great to have the flexibility to dip in and out of different classes as works with schedules. Regardless it is easy to follow as each pose is clearly explained and everyone is encouraged to go at their own pace and listen to their bodies in that moment. Probably my favourite thing of all is the relaxed atmosphere and positive vibe - you will leave with a smile

Fantastic experience: I have been attending this studio with great delight for the last few years. Macha Yoga Studio is a beautiful space with fabulous teachers who are both very caring and knowledgeable. Whether you are searching for yin, hatha, vinyasa, prenatal, dynamic or gentle yoga, there is a class to suit everyone at the studio and all expertly taught by the Macha team. In addition there are workshops offered, meditation classes, cacao ceremonies and kirtan chant to mention but some of the wide range of options available. I would like to heartily recommend this studio and thank the Macha team for the many classes I have attended over the last number of years and wish them much success into the future.

Fantastic experience: A cosy studio in a beautiful victorian house.I have been to meditation and yin with aoife, restorative and flow with manasi, and flow with Alice Also did a retreat with apife and manasi and a kirtan night and reiki sesions with Alice. All the classes have a focus on breathing and conectimg mind and body, it is a wellbeing practice and not just a workout. Suitable for beginners and experience yogis.

Fantastic experience: Macha studio I'd such a lovely place. They have several yoga classes that would suit all abilities and have great workshops on. My personal favourite is Dervilas sound bath if you have a chance to go don't hesitate.

Fantastic experience: Always a lovely hour. All the teachers have their own style but follow the same programme so if, like me, you can't always mathe same class, you are always continuing from the last class. All of the teachers are great and good fun but the real highlight is the friendliest cat in Bray.

Fantastic experience: From the moment I walked in the door and was greeted by Meave I felt totally relaxed. Never had a massage before so was quite apprehensive but Meave made me feel so relaxed that I fell asleep twice during the treatment! Cant wait for my next visit .

Fantastic experience: If there was a 6 star option that is what I would give. I would 100% recommend Alice's classes. There is always such a warm and friendly atmosphere in her classes. Alice teaches with an enthusiasm that she passes on to those who practise with her and which flows through you long after you have finished the class. She helps to build your confidence each time while guiding you in a gentle way to attempt poses you might not be comfortable with practising at home by yourself. No pressure or judgement, just kindness and encouragement. If you haven't taken a class with Alice put it on your to do list as you won't regret it.

Fantastic experience: What a brilliant yoga studio! Alice is a wonderful and accommodating teacher, I look forward to her classes every week. She creates a very calming space that is great to unwind in. It's also very close to the Dart station and bus stops, so it's very handy to get to.
