Fantastic experience: Our spa break away was just magical at this hotel!! Special mention to Carla in the spa who went above and beyond to help accommodate my back injury and answer all my many questions, she deserves huge credit! Every member of staff we met were attentive and helpful. The food was beautiful and the surroundings were exceptional! We'll be back!!!

Fantastic experience: We stayed three nights in The Lodge ( Duck house) which is a self accommodating building. It a lovely stay with more than enough room for the six of us. Close by to the pool and Spa area.

Positive experience: If you're a Father Ted fan you should visit this place. Also a really nice hotel.

Negative experience: Rude reception. Antiquated room, no handle on bathroom door. Weak water pressure. Moving toilet seat. Food at their Cascades hotel borderline insulting. The food seemed to be defrosted. And without any prior notice by email or otherwise, we were moved to some sort of breakfast room for dinner, as the main restaurant was reserved for a wedding. Had I been informed in advance, I would have booked elsewhere. At least the staff understood my disappointment and kindly offered us a table at the bar with a view of the waterfalls — so thank you to them for that gesture.

Positive experience: Stayed in the hotel on multiple occasions years ago. Decided to have dinner this evening and explore the grounds to reminisce. The food was excellent and a very special thanks to the blonde lady that took care of us at our table whom I believe to be a supervisor/ manager; she was extremely attentive, welcoming and overall should be recognised for her excellent professional standard. The hotel has definitely received a refurbishment over the years however the room hallways/ doors and general ambiance needs more attention, I can’t speak for the rooms themselves. Overall the location is excellent and it was a pleasure to revisit.

Positive experience: Beautiful 4 star old manor house with a mid-level hotel, restaurant and spa attached. IMO the old manor part is 4 star while the hotel parts built later are mostly 3 star. No air conditioning or fridge in the rooms we booked, but bathroom had been updated with new fixtures recently. Good buffet style breakfast and location about 20 minutes from Cliffs of Moher.

Positive experience: We travelled as part off a coach party, and left with mixed feelings with the Falls Hotel On arrival we were dropped at the rear of the hotel and handed our keys then directed through building works to the lifts, our room was on the 2nd floor with reception being on the 4th floor , the room was clean with a nice view of the river but although big we thought it was dated even though we are over 60. the shower seemed very old and the water pressure very low, we didn't complain because being with a coach party we thought it might be a selected room grade, maybe we should have enquired about a upgrade if possible, the location, views including the cascade brilliant ( shame you didn't fill before we arrived ) , staff, and food were very good the village pubs definitely proper Irish bars and very welcoming.

Fantastic experience: I've stayed here many times. It's a special, quirky place in a spectacular location. This time we stayed in a suite in thr old Georgian house. Very beautiful - only complaint is no thermostat in room and it was too hot. The food in the bar is okay but as is often the case in Ireland it is very underseasoned. Was pretty wild on New Year's and great fun. Recommended.

Fantastic experience: This is the hotel everyone should stay in in Ireland. The warmest of welcomes, the loveliest of staff, a beautiful location. We come here time and time again and always enjoy it. Stayed for Christmas 2024 and again for Easter 2015 having stayed many times before. We love it.. it’s just the most perfect of places. Stayed in the hotel and the apartments as a family of 4. We just feel so relaxed and happy here. Just book it!

Fantastic experience: Stayed here for 2 nights and I loved it…there was a wedding on both nights that we stayed and you wouldn’t even know even though both weddings were busy…loved the lobby of the hotel very welcoming, staff were also really nice and extremely pleasant….we ate in the the bar on our first night and food was delicious and piping hot also 2 of my group are coeliacs and they were catered for with no problem and nice choices for them , our second night we had dinner in the restaurant and it was fabulous, lovely choices and again good choice for coeliac…breakfast on both mornings was really good and service was 100% I will definitely be back!

Positive experience: I attended a wedding in The Falls. I could not say enough about how wonderful all of the staff were. The food was amazing the setting out of this world. It helped make the day wonderful. 10 out of 10, well done.

Positive experience: Came here with my fiancè for our anniversary weekend and we loved it! The donkeys, river, and scenery outside were lovely. I liked the decor of the hotel and styling of the rooms. The spa was my favourite part. It was decently clean, 1 large pool, 1 inside jacuzzi, 1 sauna, 1 steam room and 1 outside jacuzzi that was very enjoyable. Staff in the leisure centre were friendly. But the food and drink from the hotel was a let-down. The food was just average. And we didn't like that the technology was outdated. The TV's did not have streaming available or the ability to comcast from your phone to the TV which was pretty disappointing because after a long day it's nice to relax with your favourite show. I highly recommend management update the TV's. There's no reason why every hotel shouldn't have this in 2025. Overall it was enjoyable.

Positive experience: Booked for one night because it was such a bargain to get a highly rated hotel with breakfast and dinner for a great price. Tried to add on an extra night either side but they were fully booked, which is why the near empty hotel during my one night felt weird. Arrived ahead of checkin, room not available which was fair enough but the grumpy reception staff didn't make a great impression. The room was dated, and far away from reception, down a long and twisting hallway with variable floor levels. For dinner I headed to the restaurant as instructed but arrived to a dark and empty room. Honestly I felt like I was in the Overlook from Stephen Kings "The Shining". Venturing upstairs I was redirected to a private dining room where dinner was laid on for three tables; this was an eerily empty hotel. Here I found a friendly staff member, finally. Breakfast was generous, and there were more guests at breakfast so obviously the hotel was not as empty as it felt. All in all it was just a weird experience, but I wouldn't stay there again.

Positive experience: Spa and swimming pool are of excellent quality. Would definitely recommend. Bedrooms were comfortable but very dated. In the hotel restaurant the food was just okay. For breakfast, we ordered eggs which came on very hard sourdough bread, you could not even cut into the bread. The Dylan Thomas restaurant was very nice also

Fantastic experience: Beautiful family-run hotel with stunning riverside location. I loved the down-to-earth atmosphere, luxurious room with river view, friendly staff and - best of all - the indulgent pool and spa. Outdoor hot tub and glass-walled sauna were exceptional.

Fantastic experience: Had a lovely break here between Christmas & New Year we found it so relaxing we stayed an extra night. The hotel is in a beautiful location and is only a couple of minutes walk to Ennistymon which is a really nice town and has a really nice vibe about it there are some lovely pubs and cafes. Room was really comfortable the pillows were amazing and can honestly say we had the best rest ever. We used the Leisure Centre and had Spa Appointments one day and that was very enjoyable. All the staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Food was good, breakfast was a little busy in the mornings but it was a very busy time of Year. Definitely recommend it and would visit again.

Fantastic experience: Came for a weekend from Galway. The room was perfect, the bed is like wow, I had the best sleep. Food and service was lovely. The spa is too little for this huge lovely hotel but definitely worth to visit.

Positive experience: Great view of the falls. Hotel is a bit dated and does not have the staff to provide a tier 1 service. And Ennistymon is the back end of nowhere. Meh.

Positive experience: The only negative with this hotel is that it is a bit dated looking. Other than that, excellent. Excellent value, awesome food, comfortable clean rooms, friendly helpful staff, and in a beautiful location. Good, sauna, steam room and outdoor hot tub. Will definitely return. (I'd suggest cutting the trees back a bit alongside the river so that you can see better.)

Positive experience: An excellent hotel with a marvellous spa in a tranquil setting. The outdoor hottub and sauna overlooking the water were picturesque. I'll return for the spa alone. The extras on offer for the kids' school holidays were just fantastic, goodies left in the room, and a brilliant kids menu on offer. They also provided a Halloween themed movie night for the kids to enjoy free of charge. The restaurant was quite enjoyable with a great menu on offer. The food left a little to be desired, but it was enjoyable. It was a very enjoyable stay and I would recommend it.

Fantastic experience: We stayed at The Falls Hotel and Spa the weekend we eloped and got married on The Cliffs of Moher. Our stay was great, staff were all super friendly. The food was amazing, some of the best short rib I’ve ever had! The night we got married we went back to the hotel and posted up at the bar and had a great time. Dean the bartender at the time took great care of us, went above and beyond, even secretly requested a first dance song for us with the musician that was playing at the time. All in all it was a great stay. Location is great as well. We looked initially at staying in Doolin, but after visiting both, we are really happy with our choice!

Fantastic experience: If ever you want time away this place is a welcome respite. Well maintained clean and fresh. The jewel in the crown is unbelievable views of the falls. Add to that the fact the hotel is carbon neutral. Its use of hydro power sourced from the river truly innovative.

Positive experience: Our stay at the falls hotel was very pleasant and enjoyable but there where just a few things that made it more a 3* then a 4. Reception and check in were fast efficient and friendly! Our room was spacious and nice and we had a lovely view which was really appreciated however my husband hung his trousers on the back of the door and they were white with dust afterwards. The bathroom sink was blocked with hair and just a bit gruby. Bed was comfy . We had dinner at the hotel in the cascades restaurant , beautiful room ! Starters where lovely! Main course was bland , I had lamb, he had fish.....lamb could have been anything there was no flavour of it and we had a far superior fish in a takeaway another day! House wine delicious, deserts fine! Breakfast the next morning was brilliant, choice of anything you want all hot and fresh! Staff ready to get you anything you want ! Overall was a good stay , just a few little things that would make it great ! And one bit of advice to managers...who ever opens the windows in the restaurant ,at reception etc....tell them to stop putting their hands on the glass ! Hand prints all over every window just looks ridiculous.

Fantastic experience: I had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at The Falls Hotel and Spa in Ennistimon. The setting is absolutely lovely, with beautifully manicured grounds that are clearly well-maintained. I particularly appreciated the hotel’s commitment to sustainability and eco-friendliness, which made me feel good about my choice to stay there. The water fill stations were a great touch, allowing me to avoid buying bottled water. One thing to note is that there are certain times when food service is unavailable, so if you miss breakfast, you might need to walk into town before lunch service starts at the bar. I was pleasantly surprised to be able to check in a bit early, around 2:30 pm, and my room was perfect—clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. The on-site dining was solid, with the pavlova dessert being a standout favorite. My only suggestion would be to include a blow dryer and conditioner in the rooms for guests. Ample parking was available, which was a convenient plus. Overall, a wonderful stay that I’d highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: So good Spent the afternoon at nearby Lahinch beach, then driving to the hotel, from the moment you drive into the gates you know this place is a class act Lovely room, very nice bar and terrace, but the restaurant……one of the best meals we have ever been a served, all in a dining room with a stunning view of the falls

Positive experience: This is a lovely hotel, we stayed here for a few nights and really enjoyed it. The rooms are very spacious, the swimming pool was brilliant (spotlessly clean) and there are plenty of couches and seating around the hotel lobby. The breakfast was delicious and there was plenty of choice. The only negative was that the food and service in the bar wasn't great, We ate here on our first night and found it quite expensive for what we got, the service was very slow and the staff seemed very inexperienced. Didn't eat in the main restaurants so I don't know what that was like. Hotel is very central to the town.

Fantastic experience: Very comfortable rooms. All of the staff were so helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was good but few gluten free items eg cereals and bread. Evening dining was very tasty. Nice walks around the area.

Positive experience: An “Upload” carbon copy, beautifully located at the base of the cascades. Hotel generally a bit faded but rooms are large. Give the swimming pool a miss - the pumps had failed and it was murky (ironic after insisting that we wear caps, for which they charged €7 for a pair). Beware that under 16s not allowed in pool after 6!

Fantastic experience: A hotel as spectacularly comfortable as it is byzantine in design. Wonderful rooms, helpful and friendly staff, and a great location. A short, easy walk into town. Picturesque and full service. You can't go wrong.

Positive experience: We had a great room , quiet, and very nice The room was very nice and quiet, some parts of the facility need some work and maintence done, the pool area needs a bit of work to bring up to scratch, but the food was excelent and the service was exceptional, a lot of busloads of tourists come thru here, if you can get a room well recommended

Fantastic experience: OMG what can I say we booked here a few years ago and got covid so took the opportunity to go and was not disappointed from staff and the service it was unbelievable its a carbon neutral hotel and its fabulous

Positive experience: The location is really stunning, every time you step out the front door you're hit with the spectacular view of the cascades, stunning. The hotel itself is aging a little, but there's obviously a plan of renovation in place. The Gym, pool and sauna facilities are excellent (go early to avoid kids in the pool) The only real fly in the ointment was the dinner menu which was a bit bland for the price and the sides were very "frozen veg selection". You can however dine in the bar and the wider area is not short of great options for food. In fact the wider area is the star, great walks, music, pubs and beaches abound.

Negative experience: Shameful service. Firstly, I would like to applaud the staff members in the spa/leisure centre in 'Falls Hotel', as myself and my partner received top notch treatments to a very high standard. I recommend the spa/leisure centre to everyone. After our spa treatment, we chose to get food in the 'Dylan Thomas Bar' restaurant in 'Falls Hotel'. I ordered Fish & Chips, which was fine. My partner, ordered Vol Au Vaunts, the roux arrived very watery, and made the salad and chips quite soggy. My partner informed the waiter, who was very obliging and the waiter returned with another Vol Au Vaunt dish. However, as my partner cut into his meal, we noticed the vol au vaunt pastry was actually not cooked through, as clumps of flour were visible. We were very disappointed, considering it was the second dish we were served. We informed John, whom was serving us the bill. To our dismay, John handled the situation so poorly, and we were so disappointed with his attitude. He simply stated, sometimes you get bad meat from a butcher, and such is life?. We were flabbergasted and confused by his reaction? He went on to become quite dismissive, and condescending. He asked were we aware of how to even make a roux (which seemed irrelevant to us). We were not expecting a discount, we just wanted to make John aware of the situation, should any future customer experience the same. John did not receive the complaint well. He then added to our frustration, by offering a grand 2 euro 50 cent(2.50 euro) off our meal (baring in mind we had just spent 205.00 euro in the spa previous), which seemed less than understanding & ignorant. Overall, I highly recommend the spa in the Fall Hotel, however the attitude and behaviour of some staff in the Dylan Thomas Bar unfortunately is abysmal and quite frankly, upsetting. Unfortunately, it spoilt our evening, which had started off so pleasantly in the spa. I hope the Hotel sees this review and can improve the Vol Au Vaunt situation, to improve future customer's experience, and avoid such dismissive staff reaction.

Fantastic experience: Fab hotel and location, rooms are superb. Our en suite alone was excellent, we had a walk in shower and standalone bath tub. The bed was massive and comfy. The only thing that let it down was that it doesn't cater for food intolerances. I ordered the roast dinner and it was so dry, they put dairy in the gravy. They brought out an alternative but it was a tomato and rosemary sauce that looked and tasted more like a soup. The breakfast was good but again I didn't see any dairy free milk etc.

Fantastic experience: We had our wedding ceremony here, couldn't speak highly enough of the hotel and the staff, the food and service was exceptional. The staff were super friendly I'd highly recommend the Falls.

Positive experience: The beautiful hotel, located directly by a waterfall and surrounded by beautiful gardens, impresses with its old colonial style. Everything, from the entrance area to the dining rooms and the rooms, is very spacious. Everything is very clean, the service staff very friendly. The evening three-course menu was very appealing and very tasty. The breakfast buffet was extensive and of good quality. The spa area is very spacious and luxurious. The walk to the Dingle Peninsula is easy to manage. I would definitely stay here again for a weekend of well-being.

Fantastic experience: Stayed for a night with the family, lovely clean rooms, however felt the walls were abit too thin, just struggled with the noise during the night. The restaurant in the hotel was lovely and the atmosphere was great ,the staff were kind too

Fantastic experience: We stayed three nights to begin our trip in Ireland. The Falls welcomed us with a wonderful room, gracious staff, and beautiful surroundings. The falls and forest walks were fun to explore, and led to a quaint town with pubs to enjoy music at night. The location was perfect for Aran Islands and Cliffs exploration. We ate dinner twice at the hotel - once in the restaurant and once in the bar - and had their remarkable breakfast every morning. All surpassed expectations. Most notable was the staff who always made sure our stay was to our liking. Maybe the nicest people we met all trip! Strongly suggest.

Fantastic experience: Just back from a 1 night stay to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Booked at short notice I guess I wasn't expecting much. We arrived to beautifully presented manicured gardens and a warm welcome from the check in staff. The lobby is very warm and a lovely place to meet and have coffees. Our room was gorgeously decorated and lots of space. A lovely gesture from Margaret and the staff and beautiful card and gift was left for us which we thoroughly enjoyed. The bed was massive and very comfortable. The bathroom was spotless and had face cloths -something most hotels now overlook so something I always appreciate. The shower wasn't overly hot or powerful but thankfully I wasn't washing my hair although it didn't take from our stay. Had beautiful cocktails and dinner in the bar that night before strolling doen the village. Next morning the weather was stunning again so we took ourselves on a lovely trail walk right outside the hotel. Spoiled to have it right on our doorstep. We arrived back for a beautiful breakfast. Huge breakfast room with the most amazing views. Lots of helpful staff to take our orders.... I recommend the smoked salmon and poached eggs. There was no detail over looked and something for everyone!!! After checking out we made full use of the leisure centre and outdoor hotel tub. Again with the most amazing views it's hard not to relax. Given it was a sunny Bank Holiday weekend the hotel was busy and bustling but the sleep and peace we got you'd think we were on our own! Really looking forward to returning and this time bring the children. Thank you to everyone who made our stay first class. You deserve high praise for high standards thank you

Positive experience: Nice warm comfy rooms. They did their best with my vegan requests. Only negative is the pollution in the river.

Fantastic experience: We stayed at The Falls Hotel & Spa recently for our friend's birthday. The hotel itself is lovely. Really nice reception/lobby area and the rooms were nice too (although not as nice as the reception). We had plenty of beds in the rooms. They provide the usual Tea/Coffee with a kettle and the room had a big wardrobe with plenty of hanging space. There is plenty of parking at the hotel but keep in mind that the entrance is quite steep and up steps (would be difficult if you have a wheelchair or buggy) although there is an alternative entrance as far as I am aware for this purpose. The leisure centre is well worth a visit with a lovely outdoor hot tub and has a swimming pool, sauna and steam room. The staff at the leisure centre were very helpful and kind. Ennistymon is a lovely little village with lots of quirky shops and pubs. It's a short taxi ride to Lahinch which is a beautiful spot. Overall a lovely stay and would stay again.

Fantastic experience: This place is an excellent find. We found this place just looking for a room for the night following exploring the Cliffs of Mohar as we didn’t want to drive back to a city. Total lucky surprise made at last minute as we didn’t know nearly a thing about the hotel, just hoping for a couple rooms for night. What an incredible surprise. The rooms were large and comfortable. Very quiet at night. Even went out and saw some stars as the weather was clear. Old school quality, with solid WiFi. We had both dinner and breakfast which were delicious. The motivated staff were friendly and responsive to every need of our family. Several languages spoken by the staff. Nice pub in evening for the adults in the family. The view of the local waterfalls here is a bit stunning. Kid friendly, all ages here. Type of place all generations of a family can enjoy.

Fantastic experience: Myself and two of my friends recently booked in for a spa day and over night stay. When we arrived we walked the trail next to the hotel, such a lovely walk to have right on the doorstep! And we were greeted by the cutest donkeys in the field. We had lovely hot chocolates by the fire in the bar afterwards to warm us up. The spa treatments were so relaxing, followed by an outdoor jacuzzi where were looked out at the water - stunning. Our room was large and very comfortable. The staff had helped my friends surprise me with gifts for my recent engagement and it was set up in the room for me! We got ready and went down for dinner, it was a Sunday night and very quiet, which we really enjoyed. We were blown away by the quality of the food! Delicious 3 course meal from start to finish! We had a comfortable sleep and went down for breakfast the next morning, and again were delighted with what was on offer. Beautiful fresh fruit salad, porridge, filling fry! Also a menu if we fancied anything else. My friend is gluten free and there were so many options for her too, which was very appreciated! I highly recommend The Falls, we said we will make it an annual weekend for the three of us as we were so rested and had so much fun! Very impressed

Positive experience: Paid for an upgrade, room was great. Plug sockets in some parts of room not working so could not use coffee machine. Bathroom was huge, roll top bath and walk in shower. No bath towels provided so had to request some. Water from shower leaked into middle of bathroom everytime shower used which was a H&S issue. Bar food was lovely and staff friendly. Great location for touring county Clare but a bit pricy overall.

Positive experience: I love this hotel, I visit 4 times a year to play cards. The staff are very helpful and everywhere is very clean and well maintained. The food is always well presented with plenty of choice. The " green" credentials of this hotel are well known and rightly so. The spa offers a great experience with terrific staff. Enjoy your visit to ennistymon which is a lovely town for exploring.

Positive experience: The Hotel has a good leisure centre and wonderful setting. The rooms and the hotel are warm and cosy. The decor is a little tired much of it needing an upgrade. but having had a 4 day break I felt we got good value relative to price

Fantastic experience: Lovely hotel in a lovely location. The food was good but the room was a bit basic for the price. A bottle of water would have been welcome. The staff are lovely and the service was excellent. Good breakfast and evening meal. Had a great sleep too.

Negative experience: The staff are very friendly and hospitable However, on both mornings… Saturday and Sunday morning we were woken between 7:30-8am as there is building works going on across the third floor. We were informed on the Saturday that the building work would not take place on the Sunday however it did! Very disappointing stay overall.

Fantastic experience: A beautiful hotel. Beautiful surroundings and views. Really beautiful interiors and lovely food. Very reasonable too. This hotel ranks up with all the international hotels but with the beauty and charm of North Clare.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful place and views of the falls just in front of grounds. Ample parking 5mins walk to town. On main route to Doolin and other tourist sites...pleasant staff and welcoming reception. Recommended.

Positive experience: Stayed for 2 nights and had a spacious river view room (626). Booked a B and B package, which also included dinner on one-night . Note with this package if you don't want 3 course dinner their is no reduction to just have 2 courses didn't know this on booking or advised at check in I mentioned this but got no positive response and I was not the only one who took this matter up, again no positive response. They have taken my money but not provided an appropriate service, in other words that's the rules, tough! Unfortunately like many large hotels you only become a room number.

Fantastic experience: I am writing a review of the River Spa @ the Falls Hotel. I have attended about 5 appointments over the last few months for an Elemis Bio Tech Facial. I do look forward to my day of self care by coming to the River Spa every few weeks. My therapist is Caroline, who is one of the best therapists I have ever attended. Caroline is so professional and knows her product so well. She knows exactly what it takes to make a client feel special and to ensure that the client has the best experience possible. I had a glorious treatment yesterday as I always do and I feel rejuvenated and refreshed today. The River Spa is s quiet, comfortable space, spotlessly clean and I leave outside the door any stresses that may have built up over the few weeks since my last visit. I love to chill in the relaxation room after my treatment and enjoy a herbal tea. All staff are well trained, friendly and welcoming. Well done to all that run and work in the River Spa.

Fantastic experience: We are just back from two nights here with dinner included on one night.Very nice hotel , very clean and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The cliffs of mohar are only about 20 minutes away. There is a nice walk on the ground too.I will definitely be back. The only negative was the bed was fairly small, nice and comfortable but my feet were dangling off the end and I'm 5ft 6 not a giant

Positive experience: Lovely one night stay. We had a superior room which was very spacious and on the same level as reception. Breakfast and evening meals are down one level. Spotless room with a really comfortable king-size bed. Views over the river. Very good meal which was included in our package deal. 3 course meal included a bottle of wine. The hotel itself is charming with some lovely lobby areas to sit and chat. The bar serves food during the day until 2.30/3 but it was a saucy 19 euros for 2 sandwiches, 1 toasted, and a pot of tea. The leisure area and pool were well appointed. The outdoor jacuzzi was really relaxing. I saw a gym which I didn't explore but seemed well equipped. Breakfast was excellent in terms of choice and quality. Great selection, absolutely everything you'd need. Dh had gluten free toast accidentally and even said that it was good! I'd particularly recommend the little pastries which were freshly made. The staff were very pleasant and seemed keen to help. I'm not sure how those who are less mobile would get on as there are different levels, but there is a more suitable entrance to the rear of the hotel. Something though those of limited mobility should check in advance. I haven't mentioned the gorgeous aspect of the hotel and it's location overlooking Ennistymon Falls. It's really very pretty with a lovely walk along it. As you approach the town though from the hotel, there's a bit of broken glass and empty drink cans etc. No reflection at all on the hotel but an Ennistymon Tidy Towns could make some progress in this regard.

Negative experience: Room was adequate. I was just upset that they deflected when I told them WIFI was an issue. It's pretty much non existent. When I asked, I was told they just upgraded but it doesn't help when their is no access point near the room. If you have no need for wifi, then fine. If you need to do some meetings on a working vacation, STAY AWAY. It was extremely inconvenient, especially when you pay almost $300, and the management cannot address what is now a basic amenity.

Fantastic experience: Great hotel with amazing staff. We got engaged on the grounds of the hotel on our holiday and they made it even more special. Would highly recommend and can't wait to travel there again!

Fantastic experience: My favorite hotel stay in Ireland and we traveled all over! This hotel is so, so beautiful with so much character. Beautiful outside scenery and the rooms are renovated and very cute. Great breakfast as well with TONS of options!

Negative experience: Beautiful hotel with great views. Pool and spa was a good time. The food was absolutely horrible. The fish n chips were not edible. The salad greens were nasty. The service was not the greatest but they were trying. Wi-Fi did not work in are room. I don’t believe we will be going back to this spot.

Positive experience: Perfect location , great facilities & friendly staff . The staff require training badly , mainly students that seemed overwhelmed. We received wrong orders & forgotten orders . For all that I would return though. Do not go on business NO - WIFI in rooms

Fantastic experience: We have been staying at the falls hotel every year for the past ten years or more. On every level we have found the staff to be professional and decent. They are excellent with the kids. From Michael the Owner , to Tilly and Patrick in the restaurant right through to housekeeping we can’t speak highly enough about the staff. The hotels green policy and investment into such initiatives is commendable and a good sign of things to come for the hotel and the second generation of owners who are doing a great job. Rooms are decent in size and while not having ac, it’s Ireland with little or no real requirement for ac in the rooms. Windows have top hinges and open fully meaning plenty ventilation within the rooms. On going capital investment, renovation, upgrading of rooms and communal areas is a sign that the owners are willing to reinvest for the benefit for guests and staff alike. The location , the views , the pool and food are some of the reasons why we choose the Falls Hotel time and time again.

Positive experience: Handy location with a great size bar. Very spacious with a decent selection of drinks. Food is good and prices are average. You don't need to book the bar. The restaurant downstairs offers better food and a more formal dining experience. Booking is required but the restaurant is large so booking should only be an issue during high season. Was very busy this weekend and the food was only OK. Staff are friendly but they're very busy. UPDATE 2023 The restaurant downstairs (cascades) isn't worth the extra money. A lot of the menu is the same as the bar and the level of service was below that of the bar. The food is fine, not bad but certainly not equal to the premium you pay. You can also get the same view from the bar so not really sure what it has to offer.

Positive experience: This hotel was very nice and very clean the staff was very friendly and helpful the restaurant was amazing the food was delicious the rooms were big with very comfortable beds and a nice bathroom my only complaint being not having ac it was a nice night but it still got a little warm in our room
