Negative experience: Service was absolutely terrible, food was mediocre.

Positive experience: Lovely hotel and staff. Food is a bit of a let down.

Negative experience: Was here for a 2-day conference. It was mostly very average in all respects. However, the over-riding problem was that the water pressure was so low throughout the building that the toilets were backed up and it was really difficult to find a sink with enough water to wash your hands. In one location, only one of the toilets worked, and it consequently ran out of toilet paper, which was never replaced. 4 star?

Fantastic experience: I stayed in this hotel last year and again last night 22/3/25 This is a great Hotel from the time you check in till the time you check out ,the staff of the hotel are so nice from the lady that checked me in to the bar staff and the restaurant, lovely clean rooms as well and lovely hotel shampoo and shower gel built in to the shower for your stay Thxnks again to The Staff

Negative experience: Wasn't happy with the dirt of the hotel let alone the main course they served me up i ordered a rib eye steak and got a sirloin steak and when I complained to say it wasn't rib eye steak I was told by the chef that it was ,food was freezing too it came out way to quick for my liking. Deffo wouldn't return

Fantastic experience: This was a Rorys Travel special offer which was excellent value. The hotel is fabulous, staff were lovely and the food was great.

Positive experience: Stayed there for two nights. The hotel staff where great and very helpful. The lady running the bar was super friendly. The room we where allocated was in need of a bit of touching up. Room was clean and got fresh towels second morning. The only real let down in my opinion was the food. The bar food choice was limited and some items overpriced for the quality. I had the brisket cheese burger at just under €20. It was just ok and had very little brisket, which is the part I was most looking forward to. The breakfast each morning was warm not hot and the best items where the sausage and eggs. The yogurt bowl was in need of a good clean as it had a ring of dry yogurt which was not very good looking. I would stay again but with room only.

Positive experience: Room had 2 singles as a super king. Was a bit uncomfortable. The shower didn’t get hot only luke warm water. The toilet flush button is broken kept going into the wall every time tried to flush toilet. The heating goes from one extreme to the other was hard it get an in between. TV channels were very poor and when tried to log into Netflix kept saying no internet connection. But otherwise the stay was good, service and food was unreal.

Negative experience: Was meant to be a superior double bed, bit it was just 2 single beds pushed together, both of which were different heights, about 2 the 3 inch difference in heights! Everything else was lovely. Sorry to complain.

Negative experience: Not a good hotel don’t even have enough tables for us to have dinner while we’re staying in the hotel. All tables reserved nowhere for us to sit. They told us that we would have to go down to the local Chinese to get food. cause they’re fully booked out even though we paid over €450 for our nights are two nights day. Not good service at all should have way more than 20 tables down there they have no more than 20 or 30 tables in the bar and the restaurant is fully booked out and so is the Bar all the tables in the bar are reserved

Positive experience: Good location, food and service excellent. However double bed was 2 singles pushed together and one was slightly higher than the other, making a noticeable and uncomfortable "bump" down the middle that woke me up when I rolled. Not a pleasant night's sleep.

Fantastic experience: Got stranded here during the recent snowstorm - the staff went above and beyond to be accommodating and welcoming, keeping all stranded guests well looked after and comfortable overnight (as well as planned guests!). In the morning they worked hard to get us all fed and watered, before helping everyone dig their cars out of the snow so they could get back home. Some staff were also stranded in the hotel, and worked tirelessly despite their shifts having ended hours before. I know some didn’t get much sleep either, so fair play to every single one of them for powering through despite the circumstances. Pay rises for every single one please! Thanks again to everyone working at the Charleville Park Hotel. ❤️

Fantastic experience: Arrived here along with everyone else today unexpectedly due to the snow. I want to commend the staff. a skeleton crew because of the weather who had already worked a 24 shift for how they made us feel safe, warm., secure and fed. A special mention to Roisin, Una, Stephen, Ciara, Jade and Ava. I’ve no doubt there were more behind the scenes. If you are lucky enough to stay here know you will be well cared for.

Positive experience: The location is very good for tourists planning their trips around Tipperary and Cork. Good accessibility through the main road to Cork. Beautiful little town. Ordered a Goan Chicken Dish at The Park Bar & Grill and it was far from what it's meant to be, being a Goan it didn't taste anything near. The hotel staff were great and rhe hotel is very clean and hygienic. Kudos to the team working behind the scenes. Appreciate your kind service. Also not to forget their prices are worth it and the b&b package is pocket friendly.

Positive experience: Went to see a comedy show here. Service was bit slow at times not because the staff weren't good but because there wasn't enough of them. Couldn't get crisps or chocolate in either bar but was able to get it from a machine (Expensive)at reception which seemed bizarre! Carpet had multiple stains in it which wasn't a great look but other than that it was just standard stuff, a typical middle of the road hotel.

Fantastic experience: I was recently involved in organising a Mock Wedding Fundraiser in the Charleville Park in behalf our of local GAA club which had 450 people. All I can say is what fantastic time, care, attention and service we got throughout our time organising this and on the big night itself. The staff were exceptional, the food was top class and the attention to detail was outstanding. I would highly recommend anyone considering organising a fundraiser event or indeed an actual wedding to consider Charleville Park. Top rating on Behalf of Dromtarriffe GAA ❤️

Fantastic experience: **Editing my previous. Issue resolved. Gym manager rang and emailed me. The receptionist actually remembered me coming in and cared enough to ask if my issues got resolved. I can't fault the follow up** Just back from trying to renew my gym membership, got refused, and got told some nonsense about an approval process. I'm not interested in begging to join that gym. Biggest load of nonsense I've come across. I held 2 family events at this hotel that involved significant amount of money. Staff seem totally unclear or unwilling to explain. Receptionist had no idea.

Negative experience: I recently stopped off at the hotel for brunch. Having a coeliac & lactose intolerant member of my group, I was assured they would be catered for. The coeliac was catered for with a gluten-free scone. Unfortunately, a chocolate croissant was served to the lactose intolerance person instead of a plain croissant. This wasn't evident until the person took their first bite. When I challenged the server she wasn't helpful at all. Telling me the menu was years old and out of date, a croissant was a croissant and she didn't know the person was lactose intolerant, despite being told on arrival and again when the order was taken. This person also told me she didnt work in that department usually and was just filling in. She didn't apologise or make an alternative suggestion. I was also driving an electric car and there were no facilities for me to charge up the car. I would not recommend this establishment for anyone with food intolerance or allergy.

Fantastic experience: Lovely Hotel. Good food, comfortable rooms and very friendly staff.

Negative experience: Went to arranged food and drink after funeral ,it was a disgrace, in a small pokey bar room with not enough tables for people to sit down, people had to stand at the bar to eat and then they ran out of food, one person behind the bar that hadn't a clue how to fill a pint and when a person asked for a Heineken zero he was told he would have to go to the main bar and get it. Embarrassing for the family.

Positive experience: The hotel staff are very good, the rooms very clean and well serviced. The hotel restaurant lets the side down because the food is very slooooooow to come out of the kitchen and not really that good. The bar staff are very good, polite and try to help but the manager is aweful, rude and not customer focussed. The restaurant being poor would prevent me from staying here again or recommending the hotel.

Negative experience: Went to the bar for a meal this evening after a lovely day shopping in Limerick with my best friend. We were both looking forward to a lovely meal. My friend ordered beef I ordered the bacon / chicken vol a vont as main. My friend was happy with hers, unfortunately mine was tepid and not as I’d wish it to be… HOT.. my friend finished hers, “manager” came and took her plate, she said thank you, he didn’t acknowledge her, didn’t ask if all was ok, then he came back and took my plate, a lot of food left, he didn’t ask if I was finished, just took plate, didn’t ask if we wanted desert menu.. tea.. coffee… which we were going to have, but the lack of customer service left us as cold as my food.. terrible customer service, he really needs to be trained… sorry won’t ever return.

Negative experience: Terrible experience. One of the worst hotels I've stayed in. Rooms are ok bit dated. Rooms could do with a deep clean. A layer of dust on the services book, dead spiders in the shower and only 1 toilet roll the second was empty. I asked for a quiet room when checking in. The receptionist assured me it was a quiet room and laughed at me. The room was above the function room and outdoor smoking area. There was a function on and people were shouting and roaring until 2.20 in the morning. Then they were shouting on the corridors until 3am. Neither of us got much sleep. Breakfast was disappointing found a long hair in my cereal! No fried eggs left at 9.50 or no porridge on offer. Told the same receptionist on check out about issuees with our room. She said the manager would ring me. A week later and no phone call. Sums up the while experience really. Don't stay here. It's the second So hotel I've stayed in and they have both been disappointing, this one in particular. I'm sure Pat and Una would be also disappointed with this service. Keep driving.

Negative experience: The gym is neglected. Seems like no one really cares about the equipment there as well as the safety of the customers. EDIT: They do not follow up on requested email which means they do not care about your safety and well-being in the slightest. Do go to any other gym but not that one. I also forgot to complain about the dirt in the changing rooms, especially the one for families. I wouldn't let my pet cockroach to step on that filthy floor. Also to close the door to ensure that your child won't run off to the swimming pool, you have to lean on with your body and twist the lock which needs replacement (or at least some tlc WD-40). Dreadful experience and you will be safer exercising with wild boars in Ballyhoura.

Positive experience: Stopped for lunch food was already but when I went to pay after the meal had to wait until one of the servers got a draw with cash. Poor. That's a basic thing which should be there when they opened

Positive experience: Done the job for work, on the road and a decent stop off location between Cork and Limerick. Probably wouldn’t go with the family but definitely go back if it suited for work

Fantastic experience: Just popped in for a spot of lunch. Pleasant surroundings food was good and regularly priced for a hotel. Pint bottle a bit pricey at 7.50.

Negative experience: Definitely Not a 4 star as advertised. Everything was Old: Bed, Cot, curtains, carpets needs replacement. Windows not cleaned for a while I think. Not even a game room for kids.

Negative experience: If zero stars was an option I’d pick that! This was by far one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. Not to say that there were no good points, but any that there were, were far out weighed by the bad!!! The room was unbearably hot!!!!!! HOT!!!!!! The hallway was easily 10° cooler than our room. Even with two fans going all night we got barely any sleep. We paid extra to have 4 people in our room yet all toiletries, towels and water supplied was only for 3. The carpet throughout the room was disgusting. The toilet didn’t flush properly, and everytime we needed something we had to go to the lobby because our phone did not work! I’d never come here again and I would steer anyone else clear of this hotel! AWFUL!

Fantastic experience: we had a issue but the staff resolved it very quickly. The girls on the front desk are brilliant. Food is lovely for breakfast and in the bar restaurant. Plenty of parking.

Negative experience: Recently joined the gym and have never been in a changing room as dirty before, the place is filthy and there is a terrible smell in there

Negative experience: My room overlooked the roof of another part of the hotel. The roof was very ugly and the noise of the ventilation fans could be heard with the windows closed. Nothing serious so far. But staying in the hotel 4 nights I asked after the 1st night to change room: In 4 days it was not possible. Every day they told me that they would try to do what was necessary, and even if on the internet I saw many rooms available (cheaper and more expensive) every evening they told me that they were full and that it had not been possible for that night. I wrote to the reception email address, no reply. I complained at the end of my stay to the manager, no apologies. In short: no management of customer requests once you have paid for your room on arrival. So my advice: don't pay for your room until you've seen it...

Positive experience: Lovely hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Orla was particularly attentive to us. The breakfast was lovely and was in a big beautiful room. The pool was nice and spacious. I didn’t love the bar but the hotel is close enough to the town to visit the local pubs there. I would recommend this hotel.

Negative experience: Why has no one graded this hotel to a 2? It's certainly well past a 5 star . Got the most grottest room on the end of floor 1, this being the best king room, so I asked for an upgrade without fans outside the window. was given another room, totally the opposite end of the corridor, the room exactly the same and was charged more, nothing else available. Then, finding in the morning loads of workmen booked into these end rooms ,the receptionist must have thought that was funny. Was here 5 years ago ,was a lovely hotel then. Seems money is the reason for lack of up keep on no spending. The food was awful even though we paid for breakfast, I wouldn't touch it, going by the standard of the cleaning.

Positive experience: Breakfast choices were excellent and the bar meals were brilliant too Room view nit so good as we were over looking the breakfast restaurant no net curtains and the noise from the extractor fans were very loud and all day and night. Swimming pool and gym on site but away from the hotel Swim caps must be worn in the pool

Fantastic experience: Over 50 retired teachers visited for 3 nights bed and breakfast in March. We had a wonderful time in a beautiful hotel. Excellent accommodation, food and service and the staff went the extra mile to make our experience most enjoyable. We will be back. Thank you to the management and the staff.

Positive experience: Called in for a quick lunch. Staff were very busy ss there were a lot of functions on but they were friendly and not stressed. Service was very good and food was lovely

Negative experience: I hate even giving one star to this hotel! We booked online through booking.com with breakfast included and when my husband checked in they told him it wasn’t so he gave more money to this horrible place. We are travelling from Australia and have just spent the past five days since we left sick and I was even in hospital from dehydration due to food poisoning. The bathroom was also filthy there is no way this can be a four star hotel. I wish I had read reviews this hotel is not what is looks like online

Fantastic experience: We held an Awards Function (incl Dinner) at Charleville Park Hotel over the May Bank Holiday and everything was perfect from start to finish. Great feedback from the attendees about the friendliness of staff, food, service and bedrooms. From an organisational point of view the function room was set up just as we had requested thanks to Ann-Marie and her colleagues. We move around the country every year but looking forward to returning to the Charleville Park in the near future.

Fantastic experience: My son was participating in a chess event at the hotel and forgot his jacket. Hotel reception (Garrett) was very polite, he took all the details over the phone and followed up very quickly with options for us to get our jacket back. Very happy with the service!

Fantastic experience: We had our Daughter Ciara's Confirmation at the Charleville Park Hotel on Thursday the 14th of March 2024. Jess was my contact. I have to say that Jess was amazing to deal with. I had alot of special dietary requirements and every request was met with reassurance kindness and understanding. The food was beautiful and service was friendly and prompt. We had an amazing evening. Thanks again Jess for everything. We will be back. Samantha x

Negative experience: We only use the swimming pool, which is poorly cleaned and maintained. I paid 12 euros to get in as a guest, and after about 20 minutes, my 4 years old was nicely asked to leave the kids pool because a swimming class was about to start. While I can't comment about the rooms or the hotel side, the pool area is not aligned with today's standards. Furthermore, guests shouldn't be charged full price if full access isn't provided.

Negative experience: Would not recommend, very disappointing. The room was cold the shower was cold, i manually adjusted the heating to see would it heat up the room a bit but it didn't. I emailed the hotel about the heating and shower but got no reply. On checkout we weren't even asked if the room was ok or the service. Definitely not worth a 4 star hotel. It was €171 for room only for a Saturday night. The corridor between the lobby and bar was freezing. Also the pedal of the bin in the bathroom didn't work so defeated the purpose of having a pedal bin in the bathroom. As you can see from the photos the hairdryer was dirty the cushion had a hole on it. The double bed was made up of 2 single beds which was very annoying for when two people was in bed. Where the card went into the unit on the wall to supply electricity, the wall was stained and needed to be freshened up with some new paint obviously they have only been doing blotching work with the paint every time it wears away.

Fantastic experience: Stayed there last night absolutely fantastic. Beautiful place fantastic comfy room. Fabulous dinner and breakfast. Ana in the breakfast room this morning was lovely very friendly and chatty to us. We wish you well Ana in your position.

Negative experience: The individual staff were lovely and personable, however, everything else is best described by the old Irish phrase, "A Shower of Sh!te". It was truly faulty towers-esque, From the deaf waiter who got every order wrong and the Chef screaming at the staff in the kitchen, to the cold battered cod that went back twice and still came back cold and our reserved tables that were given away to the marauding irish travellers that liked to dance on tables to heavy dance music as we saw the new year in. There was so much wrong it's hard to remember it all, but here goes, in no particular order: - the shower screen in our bathroom was right on the cusp of falling apart. - the bathroom sealant was black with grime. - there were holes in the threadbare carpet in our room. - the pillows smelt stake and sweaty. - the cooked breakfast needed to actually be cooked. The eggs were clear and runny, the bacon rind was still white. - the birra Moretti and San Miguel Lagers tasted identical, with the same taste of old flat lager - the shower went cold after my wife had used it, even turning to max. 30 mins later made no difference. - the wifi speed would habe been acceptable in 2004, not in 2024. - the packed breakfast we arranged prior to leaving for our early morning ferry, never materialised. - there was no night porter or staff present for hours over new years night. The hotel front door was open. Many people came in and left unchecked. -our bill contained items we did not have. - The Cocktail I ordered seemed to not contain any alcohol and was mostly sugar syrup - one of the waiters spontaneous gave a glass of prosecco to my young newphew, aged 13 (and small for his age) before we snatched it away. There was probably more that wS experienced by others, but the above was just my experience. BTW, we were there for just 2 nights!!!

Positive experience: Very nice rooms , bar was very expensive with all hotels sadly bar staff weren't all that knowledgeable nor had great stock considering it was a wedding I was attending hotel desk staff were wonderful and cheerful ,next day was a bit of a let down as bar wasn't opened until 12 sadly missed breakfast but heard from others there it was very good

Negative experience: I would give no starts if possible as I attended an event in the Charleville Park hotel last night. The food was absolutely shocking, probably the worst I’ve ever had. I spent all last night and this morning being sick because of what I had eaten there. The food was frozen when it came to the table and not only mine but others that I had attended the event with. Had I not have been there attending an event in which had already been paid for I would have absolutely sent the food back and left because I honestly can’t describe how terrible it was. Out of the starter, mains and deserts I couldn’t say one good thing about the food as I had to leave majority of it because it wasn’t edible. I came to the Charleville Park hotel 5 years ago for a family meal and the food was the exact same as last night, it was shocking and so I refused to go again but due to an event I needed to attend in which the chosen location was the Charleville Park Hotel I decided to give it the benefit of the doubt and hope for a better experience in which was a total disappointment. I’m not one to make bad on a name but this should be seen as an opportunity to make changes as it’s badly needed. In this day and age with the prices of food gone up and everything being so expensive the least that could be done is send out a good quality meal for the price of what it costs.

Positive experience: We went for the Christmas market & it was beautiful but parking an absolute mess, might look at some ushers next year. Hotel staff were very nice & food was lovely

Negative experience: For a 4 Start Hotel and the price of the room, we went for an event during the weekend and they didn't have enough staff to serve us ( the excuse we got was that there was another event in the same weekend). Food was cold, and breakfast service they didn't have me registered in the room so I had to queue and wait.

Positive experience: I really just want to talk about the food. Staff 4/5 very kind Room 3/5 very average Pool 3.7/5 we were already in the pool when they told us to leave the children's pool area as they wanted to use it for lessons, this wasn't informed to us prior. My autistic child only likes to play in there, so you can imagine trying to explain this to him. Food 4.5/5 everything was absolutely delicious and well seasoned. The wings had a sweet, spicy(1/5 spiciness) charred flavour. The seafood bisque just as delicious a tard salty tho. The fries, crispy. The pizza, so good as well. Overall, I would visit again mainly for the food and I'd book the family deluxe because the space of the standard rooms is too small for us.

Negative experience: We booked a family room for 4, but were given a 3-bed room only. The staff offered a camper bed as a fourth bed, although we paid for 4 propoer beds. Moreover, we went to Leisure centre at 7:30 pm, but were declined entry, as they said we should have been there 40 mins before the closing (closing at 8pm). I called the reception, who were unware of this rule, and did not inform us about it at check-in. Also this rule was no where to be found on their website. Lastly, we had paid for an all inclusive breakfast. But when we wanted to have latte and hot-chocolate, we were told to pay for them separately, as only tea and black coffee were included in so called ALL INCLUSIVE breakfast. Avoid them to avoid disappointment during your holidays.

Fantastic experience: Stayed in the hotel with my wife and small child for a night and we were really happy overall. The staff were all incredibly friendly and attentive, the room was clean and quiet and the restaurant and breakfast were great. It was all very reasonably priced too. We’d definitely recommended staying in the Charleville Park Hotel.

Negative experience: 4 star ???staff at reception were ok not over friendly but gave all information.Very interested in the payment . Went to the room everything seemed ok until I pulled out a chair to sit on the chair was full of what looked like breadcrumbs well when this room got cleaned the hover wasn't used.The window didn't have a blind or net curtain just heavy curtains to pull across seeing as the dining room was across and down one flight so all in sundery could have seen into our room.We had attended for a Dolly Parton evening.Event was ok not a large crowd but that wasn't hotels fault.We were moved twice from one bar to the next one was closing as we were told event was over but that bar was said to be residents bar and that's what we were. Some parts of hotel quite cold Went to check out pool for swim the smell in changing room was vile but pool was lovely temperature. Shower in room what a mess water water everywhere I could have saved myself trip to pool.Breakfeast had good enough selection a little cold ..Staff everywhere you looked but none seemed to be too busy or seemed to know what to do some running from guests instead of serving themAll in all eventfull time spent .Would notbe in a rush back. Plenty parking with cigarette butts every....?m

Fantastic experience: Gary, Julie and Emma and Snow have been unbelievably helpful for our entire stay. Honestly I can’t believe the service we have gotten from these staff members and more. One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in, between the great breakfast, quick bar and helpful reception. This hotel is at the top of our list of returns. Really I can’t thank everyone enough. We will be back again

Negative experience: I was at the Dolly Parton tribute last night and I was completely appalled by the way the staff have treated us last night my daughter which is 17 and my daughter in law age 23 the show was almost over when they came to my daughter in law accused her of drinking and my daughter and the way they spoke to them was horrible they weren’t drinking and told to leave the hotel outside in the cold the bouncer was absolutely horrible. At the bar they handing back the wrong change if you were intoxicated you wouldn’t have noticing it pour robbery thank god a lot of us did. Under age people were being served and they wouldn’t serve my daughter in law she was at this hotel plenty of times and wasn’t asked for id also we never had an issue with anything like this before were completely hurt and shocked the way the staff were just so ignorant we brang it to the manager’s attention he was no help for he allowed he’s staff to treat he’s costumers like that

Negative experience: I have never been so ashamed in my life the most Racist staff I have ever seen the ignorance from them tonight all because my sister in law didn’t have an id she showed her passport in her phone she’s 23 years old mother of two kids to make it worse she’s not even a traveller but was with us we got trown out beacuse thier was drink on the floor next to us but they couldn’t take an alcohol test to prove it i wasn’t drinking and neither was she and the manager was good for ntn over vidoeing him he has problom but ntn about hes staff members i actaully feel sorry for them they must have been brought up by racist parents if u haveing a bad day u dont come to work and pick it out on your costumers don’t understand how year a bussiness when ye only accept curtain people why not frame it altogether on year website I have ntn good to say about the place if ur looking for a good night out with lovely staff I can guarantee you it ain’t the place to go I promise ye as a 17 year old from travelling community with my mam and sister in law I have been so upset I even have proof of underage kids been served drink with a blue band but my sister in law could get drink at age 23 where was them kids id I have a vidoes and photo for evidence most of year money come from the travelling community if it was uear kids or family that had to go trough that how would ye like it put yearselves into my shoes and experience what I have to experience at such a young age

Fantastic experience: Booked this as a last minute trip to bring our daughter to see foto Island. Hotel was perfect and staff wore more then accommodating, we had a couple of issues with the wifi but Julie was amazing she came up and made us feel so welcome while trying to sort it out when we couldn’t she upgraded our room as she understood the demands of a 3 year old wanting the TV Honestly so happy with our stay. We can’t wait to return

Fantastic experience: Great, large room with tea & coffee making and in room safe. Bathroom is large with a separate shower and bath. Good value for money.

Fantastic experience: Outstanding stay, leisure facilities immaculate and room was lovely, we did eat one evening in the bar which was nice with a decent atmosphere considering it was a week night- the kitchen did close a little earlier than we hoped .We met Shelly who was so courteous and friendly, a wonderful representative of the hotel. We will certainly be back in the future, maybe even with the kids!

Fantastic experience: Attended a wedding here. It was absolutely stunning, and kirsty couldn't do enough for us. The reception staff were very proficient and polite, and the food was gorgeous in the restaurant. There was a wide variety of breakfast options, and the full irish was gorgeous.

Negative experience: My husband had stayed for business, when he ordered from the menu steak with potato and veg, it came out dressed in garlic sauce, safe to say after a long day at work he expected a meal not dressed in garlic sauce when he said that it did not state that on the menu, the bar manager simply said that's how we serve it, he said it should be clearly stated on the menu, he was not offered the same meal minus being ruined by garlic sauce. Unprofessional and so disappointed by what has such a good name, the SO hotel group. Perhaps it's a lesson that the sauce should not be on the dinner but separate so a person can decide if they want to drench their meal in garlic sauce. He ended up driving to pick up a takeaway, no apology.... nothing, he/ we will not be bringing any further business to the hotel. Disappointed

Fantastic experience: Where do I start with Charleville park. From the moment we walked through the doors almost 2years ago we knew it was the perfect hotel for our wedding day. We weren't wrong. From day one Kirsty was so enthusiastic about our special day, every idea we had she made it reality, without hesitation. From the minor details to the overall run of the day Kirsty was nothing short of amazing and our guests are still talking about what a great job she done and the attention to detail. Aswel as Kirsty all staff on the day were fantastic from shelley, maxine, clodagh & the two Emma's in the bar and colette from housekeeping the staff are so accommodating and friendly nothing is too much for them. The food was incredible thanks to the amazing chefs. Overall Kirsty and Charleville park gave us the best day we could have ever dreamed of and a day both us and our families will always remember. Kirsty your a credit to the hotel and we are so thankful we found you! You made our disney fairytale wedding a dream come true and we will forever be grateful to you. All our love Niamh & Sarah

Fantastic experience: We had our wedding here in charleville park hotel. The ceremony and reception all under one roof. The staff could not have done more for us, they were absolutely exceptional. Anne Marie the events manager was great. She took care of everything for us and helped us feel at ease on the day. I would recommend charleville park hotel to anyone looking for their wedding day location as the hotel has it all.

Fantastic experience: I recently attended a wedding at Charleville Park Hotel as a guest. Emma and Kirsty had been extremely accommodating and friendly from the minute we arrived. They made sure that each guest was looked after from food to drinks with friendly and professional service. All of the bar staff were dancing along to the music which attend to the athmosphere of the night. I cannot recommend charleville park hotel enough if you are planning to have a wedding.

Fantastic experience: Here for a wedding, literally the best hotel, the staff are phenomenal, the best craic was had with them, they might as well have been with the party! Top notch work from Kirsty on organising the fantastic day and Emma Walshe and the rest of the bar staff for having the laugh with us!

Positive experience: Stayed four night at Charleville Park, the staff were very friendly the breakfast was plentiful and very tasty, the leisure centre is excellent with a nice large swimming pool. Our room was at the front of the building and is close to a very busy main road and the noise from traffic is non stop day and night not ideal for light sleepers like me and there was a very bright spotlight on all night right outside the window, I would definitely stay at this hotel again but only in a room well away from the front of the hotel.

Fantastic experience: I would 100% recommend this hotel to my friends and family. We recently stayed here and I have to say that the staff made our stay very enjoyable. Our bedroom was spotless, warm and cosy, as were the general areas and restaurant. We required some extra linen and a lovely lady called Collette was very helpful and looked after this for us. We are already looking forward to our next stay.

Negative experience: If I could give it 1 star I would. The staff at reception spoke to each other with such disrespect in front of customers. The rooms were dirty - nail clippings all over the floor and bins were full in the rooms. The manager at reception was nothing short of rude - will never be seeing me or my family for a stay again.

Negative experience: See pictures: Stained bedding, bathroom needs deep cleaning, not a 4 stars hotel at all. Consistent with other reviews we found staff and specifically reception manager on duty Aug 11 2023 not to be customer friendly. Inadequate and unjustified pet pricing.

Negative experience: I have never experienced a worse gym in my life. It's dirty, many machines do not work, and most equipment is rusty and dangerous. The changing rooms stink. The staff are completely apathetic, and would rather stand around chatting than pay attention to their work. The staff also have an illegal "no refunds policy". If you respect your health, and yourself, avoid.

Positive experience: Great concert. Staff are so accommodating, they go out of their way to help. One thing i can't understand is why you are given a plastic cup at the bar but can walk away with the bottle in your hand, this issue isn't specific to this fab hotel.

Positive experience: It’s not my first stay in this hotel. We stayed on the 1 floor with courtyard view. It wasn’t a-warm day , but the room was roasting warm , windows are barely can be opened. We had a bad night sleep . Next time I’ll request a high floor room . Breakfast in bed 5euro and good quality. Overall for 189eu not a bad experience.

Fantastic experience: We got married at Charlville Park on the 3rd of June and oh my god I could not recommend them enough, they made our day, weekend and even lead up to it stress free Ann-Marie could not do enough for us and honestly thank you so much. The whole venue was absolutely amazing and we were even able to get married outside. The outside was set up amazingly, the ballroom looked so good and the bar and drinks reception area was amazing, we had so many compliments on the whole hotel as a venue. The guest rooms were a very reasonble price as all of our guest were travelling from up the country which made it even easier for them. They are dog friendly which meant that we could have our 2 girls with us which made it even more special. We chose here to have our wedding for a few reasons which being dog friendly was a main one even though we were an hour and a half from the hotel. The rooms were amazing and the food was to die for. Even during dinner we had so many guests come up to us to tell us how great the food was. All the staff were so friendly and very helpful and were even there having the craic with us which was unreal. Thank you so much for putting up with for the 3 nights over the weekend and we can't wait to come back down for a visit.

Positive experience: Lovely hotel, very friendly reception and bar/restaurant staff. The main course beef dish was amazing but unfortunately the carbonara needs some work

Positive experience: Nice staff . The chef needs to learn how to plate up his food . I asked for chicken and chips and I got a whole chicken slapped up on a plate with a bowl of chips stuck on the plate also no salad no Notting it was the most unappealing thing I'd ever seen . My friend took it home for her dog . I was still hungry so we ordered dessert I asked for berrie tart I got a custard pie with 4 berries on top , I don't eat custard so I left it ,my friend who I brought with me to treat her to lunch because she had been for radiation treatment that morning ordered apple crumble with granola topping we had to dig off the granola to find the apple we left that . I wanted to complain but my friend was tired and just wanted to go home . That meal cost me almost 70 euro. Waste of money and time. Won't be going back any day soon.

Negative experience: Room was too hot. Had to leave thewindow open. No sleep had as there a number of noisy extracters directly under the window. Not 4 Star,, with the exception of the price.
