The Mont Hotel

Negative experience: I picked this hotel because of the well equipped gym. However, being inside is pure torture. Bad dance music being played at a crazy volume, plus it’s a commercial radio station so you also have to put up with adverts for air conditioning and air fryers. When I asked reception to please turn the music down or off (I was the only person in the gym) they said only the manager could do it and he wasn’t available. It was 10am on a weekday. I was told the manager would get in contact with me. They did not.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic hotel & staff were super friendly and welcoming. If you're looking for somewhere to stay in Dublin I can't recommend this place enough! We were only there 1 night but will definitely be back.

Fantastic experience: Wow, fantastic service, was unexpectedly upgraded. Rooms are beautiful, bar is cool and I really enjoyed my sleep! Unbelievable huge gym with everything you could want. Better than my gym at home.

Fantastic experience: We really enjoyed our stay at The Mont. The hotel is in an excellent location, walking distance to all of the key locations. The breakfast was excellent, with vegetarian options available, and great pots of tea. We booked a Roomy King, which has an excellent shower and was cleaned daily to a great standard. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall we would recommend this hotel.

Fantastic experience: Everything from start to finish was amazing. Room was extremely clean very comfy bed and an excellent breakfast. The standout for us was the service. Once we checked in we got a phone-call to make sure we were happy with everything. We requested a late checkout and this was no problem. Location is excellent too. A must if you’re coming to Dublin.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic hotel right in the heart of Dublin walking distance to St Stephens Green. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are so nice and comfortable. There is a bar attached to the hotel which is nice but too many to choose from locally so getting a local pint isn't an issue. Breakfast was really good with lots to choose from. Apart from the room and facilities it is the service that stands this hotel out from the crowd. Impeccable service! Well done everyone I will be back.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend. The rooms were comfortable and there were vegan options for breakfast. Dinner (again vegan) was had across the street at their sister hotel The Alex. Chocolates in my rooms and a drink ticket were appreciated.

Where can you stay with so many to thank? My husband and I went to Dublin and stayed at the Mont for our 22nd anniversary, the employees went above and beyond. The hotel is very nicely located, we walked everywhere.

We arrived super early and were so extremely tired, they made us feel so comfortable by arranging a room for us at a nearby sister hotel until our room became available. She also personally walked us to the property and picked up a piece of trash on the way there. Good job Mont Hotel!

Positive experience: Great location for tourists like me. Close to Trinity College, DART station, and across the street from Hop-On/Off and transit buses. But the staff were the standout here. Front desk were without exception friendly and charming and helpful. Eduardo and Maijek (sorry if misspelled!!) in particular. The hotel was very accommodating when arranging an “accessible” room in advance for my elderly travel partner. The breakfast was very good as were the dining room staff. The rooms were pretty small but nicely appointed and very quiet. The bed was very comfortable and everything seemed very clean.

Fantastic experience: During my recent business trip, I had the pleasure of staying at The Mont Hotel for 3 nights, and I cannot recommend it enough! The room was incredibly spacious, quiet, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable, perfect after a long working day. However, what truly set this hotel apart was the warmth and kindness of the reception staff. On my birthday, I was pleasantly surprised to find a thoughtful gift and a personalized birthday card waiting for me in my room! It was such a special gesture. I will definitely be returning!

Positive experience: Really cozy and nice hotel, at a very good location, right next to the Ginger Man and Kennedy’s pubs. The size of the room I stayed in was really small, but all the rest offset part of this lack of space. The 1930s deco concept is really smart! The amenities were satisfactory. Although I stayed at the first floor, with my window facing to a central busy road, there was no sound in the room. That was impressive. The lobby was really nice and the breakfast buffet quite satisfactory with few smart options that are not often met in hotels of this level. The in-house Pub is the actual winner here! Pretty impressive indeed! Overall a good experience!

Fantastic experience: We loved it here! This was our first stay on our Honeymoon roadtrip across Ireland and everyone at The Mont made us feel so welcome. Walking distance to many of the best things in the city. Comfortable rooms. Good drinks at the bar downstairs and such a good breakfast buffet. High recommend!

Positive experience: A good hotel in a safe location. Easy walk to the EPIC across the footbridge (not at night). Breakfast was the standard 3 star fare. The latte was excellent. The room was adequate but no service for two night stay. No € available for change of a 10€ to tip driver. One elevator but it was fast. Needed a no slip mat for the shower and grab bars.

Positive experience: The Mont was a great hotel to stay in very central. We had a cosy room which was small but perfectly formed . It had everything we needed. The service was good and the location great, walking distance ti everything. Also we were parked at the value car park across the road , they verified our ticket and we got a discount on the parking.

Fantastic experience: The Mont Dublin was an amazing stay! Not only did the hotel have a unique and stylish vibe, but the warm hospitality of EVERY member of their team really stood out. I traveled with my 82 year old grandmother and they made sure she was well taken care of and accommodated her mobility issues without blinking an eye. The whole team was so wonderful and as a member of the travel industry, I truly believe the service and hospitality was top-tier. We did the bed & breakfast package and breakfast was a full hot buffet with lots of options. At night, the Sin Bin Bar was a great place for us to gather for late night bites or to gather and have drinks before going out in the city (try the Mac n cheese bites…you’ll have no regrets!). The hotel also has Nespresso machines in the room and offers dry cleaning services if needed. There is a fully equipped gym for those who enjoy working out on vacay as well. Not only was the hotel stay a great experience, but the location was prime! We were minutes walk from some fun pubs such as Kennedy’s and The Ginger Man. We were also about 10 minutes walk from Trinity College and about 20 minutes walk to Temple Bar area. Another fun tip is that there are two amazing galleries across from the Sin Bin Bar that have amazing artwork that’s worth the look for those who collect! It was an amazing stay and we will definitely be back again!

Fantastic experience: We had a fabulous stay at the Mont hotel. We were here for a short break and we found the hotel to be in a great location. Just minutes from the museums, close to areas with bars and restaurants, also lovely parks nearby. The staff were exceptional, every person couldn't do enough for you and was super friendly. The rooms were very clean and spacious (we booked a queen room). The breakfast was good, we are vegetarians and there was enough to eat. The bar attached to the hotel had a lovely vibe and was open until about 11pm. We would definitely stay here again, we had a great stay, thanks so much!

Fantastic experience: The hotel is located in the popular section of the town. Right by the Trinity College grounds and few mins walk way from the busy area of the Grafton Street and few more mins away from Temple bar section of the town. It is also adjacent to the Marrion Square park where they have the Oscar Wilde’s Monument and the Giants Garden for the little ones. This hotel is very accessible. The rooms in this hotel is very nice. We had a King size bed room overlooking the Oscar Wilde’s home and monument. For additional charge, they will put a single twin size bed where a kid (till teenager) can sleep on. The room is a tad small in size but I expected that. The bathroom has an European type shower ( I still don’t’ know why they don’t put a door), which make showering a challenge as water just comes out of the shower section into the section where you use the sink. They have a great breakfast area which starts serving at 7:00am in the morning with a wide verity of options (eggs/roasted tomatoes/mushroom/hash brown/Sausage/Fruits/Breads/Juices/Smoothie/Cheeses). It can be a little pricey but the location and the ease of travel to/from important locations makes it great place to stay. The staffs are very nice and helpful as well. We stayed at the “Cushy room” and it had a refrigerator/locker/coffee maker and multiple plug ports for charging your devices. They also provided WiFi which wasn’t slow. The noice level from the outside is not too bad especially being so close to Trinity college. There are no closets by some places to hang your cloths. Overall a good place to stay.

Fantastic experience: The Mont Hotel was such an incredible stay. The staff went above and beyond to make it comfortable and more than accommodated any needs. The rooms had everything needed: electric kettle, Nespresso, mini fridge. The only thing that was challenging was the shower water would flood onto the floor fast so showers had to be quick. Otherwise, the location was excellent. A perfect spot to walk to many things.

They were informative, always ready to share useful information about the hotel and surrounding area. Their responsiveness was remarkable, promptly addressing any questions or concerns we had. The staff’s friendliness created a warm and welcoming atmosphere, making us feel right at home. They were incredibly helpful, going out of their way to assist us with anything we needed. Their accommodative nature was particularly evident when they helped us check in early, which made a significant difference in our travel experience. Fantastic experience: Great location. Easy access to many different things. Enjoyable 20 minute walk to Guinness Factory. Virtually across the street from a beautiful park. Plenty of restaurants and pubs within walking distance. Service was excellent. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good however it was an extra. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Just wanted to say that this hotel has all the charm you are looking for in Dublin. We started our stay here and it did not disappoint. Staff and accommodations are the very best.

Fantastic experience: vitamin juice (tasty), yogurt and a dessert. On another day, my wife and I were at the breakfast buffet and decided to make a sandwich since we had to leave to another day trip tour. A staff member noticed and asked if we would like a box and bag. I know this is a little detail but I was very impressed with how attentive the staff was. We were also asked if we wanted a to-go beverage. The expresso we received had a heart drawn in the froth. Again, a small detail, but those little details matter a lot. The breakfast buffet had a very nice assortment of food options. Fresh scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, cheeses, breads and breakfast pastries, all laid out beautifully. Another little detail was the fresh juices. There was a yogurt tasting juice/smoothie and an orange/vegetable blended juice served in little bottles with straws (cute). Lastly, coffee did not come from a machine, it came from a barista as they have a full blown café in the breakfast area. On our first day we asked for coffee; we were brought a fancy coffee pot and cups. I felt like we were getting tea service. On other days, my wife and I would opt for espresso or lattes. They are all served in fancy cups with a little froth heart. Breakfast and service was at 10 out of 10 I would not hesitate to stay at The Mont if we return to Dublin.

Positive experience: The customer service is amazing from the reception team to breakfast and cleaning they're all amazingly friendly and ready to help. Our room was good but the beds are horrible the mattress is soft and molds to the body, making it seem like it sinks and you stay in the hole all night, horrible for those with back problems

Fantastic experience: Stayed here for 2 nights following a tour around Ireland. Room was small, but clean and bed was comfortable. Love the location and the bar downstairs. Highly recommend if you are looking for a convenient and cozy hotel in Dublin.

Fantastic experience: Stayed at The Mont from the 15th March for 3 nights, from checking in to leaving it was great, the room 310 was facing the main road but not a problem, the staff all friendly and all smiles. The room was excellent with a big comfy bed, coffee machine with free pods and biscuits, nice touch. The bathroom with bath and shower came with little packs of shower gel, body lotion and shampoo, towels nice and clean and not scruffy what so ever. The breakfast was excellent too, plenty of choice, hot and cold food to start your day. The Sin Bin pub which is part of the hotel is nice to relax in but it only takes cards so don't take cash.

Fantastic experience: The Mont is snuggled in a lovely neighborhood amongst lovely pubs and parks and around the corner from the Irish National Gallery, which is free. The service was impeccable and very attentive. Helpful hint: if you can’t make the hot water work it’s probably you. Ask questions. They never let us feel dumb about it. The rooms are super comfortable!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely beautiful hotel in nice neighbourhood. Rooms are very nice looking and bed is cozy (important after a whole day walking). The stuff is more than helpful (we were there a few hourse before check in and manage to get a room immediately; also on our last day we had to leave for the airport at 4am and they scheduled a taxi for us). Walking distance to city centre, nice park with Oscar Wild statue right across the street. You have Spar and Nero Coffee in a few minutes walk. Would come again 10/10

Fantastic experience: Stayed at The Mont for a winter getaway. Absolutely lovely. The bed was super comfortable, and the staff kept it well-stocked and very clean. The breakfast was amazing. Paulo and Raffaele were so gracious and helpful. The location is perfect. Six minute walk to the main gates of Trinity College and a 2 min walk to the Pearse DART stop. Really wonderful stay.

Fantastic experience: i was in the” mont” this afternoon the 4 th january .. hadn’t been for a long time completely refurbished and had some bar food .. which was an excellent price and lovely food .. the bar was cosy and warm decor very nice on the eye.. another plus was the lady behind the bar Stephney could not do enough and to make sure my stay there most pleasant … next time i’m around that part of the city i’ll be back for sure .. Fantastic experience: Rare to have such a positive view of a hotel almost immediately after arriving - the staff here are great, and being proactively offered a tea or coffee when I showed up early on a rainy morning was a godsend. Think I’ll be a regular here…

Fantastic experience: This is late getting out there - my husband and I stayed at the Mont the beginning of October. The location was fantastic. Rooms very clean and room service came daily. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would like to give a big shout out to Stephanie, Neville and Rose. Rose was usually at the front desk, always very helpful and would always be smiling and greet us in the morning. Very kind and friendly. Neville was usually in the lobby and sometimes in the restaurant. He would always talk to us and suggest places to go. He was very helpful and friendly. Stephanie worked in the SinBin usually working at the bar. She would also take orders and serve food. Even though she was always busy, she would always take the time to talk and she was very helpful. A real people person. Stephanie also suggested a place and made the appointment for me to get a tattoo, I love it! Stephanie, Neville and Rose always made us feel welcomed and not just tourists. Positive experience: We absolutely loved staying at the Mont in Dublin. We booked two nights for a wedding and really loved our stay. The room was spacious and clean, with a really comfortable bed. One of the highlights of our stay was the front desk staff - Ivan in particular was incredibly welcoming and helpful; he made a point of welcoming us, helped us navigate the steps with our pushchair and arranged for any extras we required during our stay. The only downside to the stay was the difficulty in getting up and down the steps with my boy in his pram. We could access the lobby by going through the hotel bar from 12pm but it was difficult in the mornings. Otherwise, the stay was brilliant - a comfy, quiet two nights of sleep and a fantastic location. The staff excel at their jobs. Thank you!

Positive experience: The Mont was lovely and the service was the best part. Everyone was so, so nice. Pros: Great staff, super clean facilities and insanely comfortable beds. The gym was fantastic and the location was perfect. Cons: The hotel pub doesn't have the best food/service, the hairdryers have a weird "safety" sensor on them so you cannot move them when drying your hair. Bring your own if you can because it's annoying. The showers do not have full doors so water gets on the floor. Tips: You can get a Dublin express coach to the airport right by the hotel for £8, there's a great wine bar called Note close by and Oscar Wilde's childhood home is right around the corner.

Fantastic experience: Great location, great service, and great rooms. The bathroom is a great size, the beds are comfortable, and there’s a bus stop nearby. It’s also about a 12 minute walk from grafton street. And get breakfast! Delicious, hot, and fresh buffet-style breakfast served every morning. Wifi works great, a variety of television channels, iron + board, hair dryer, espresso machine, mini fridge with complimentary water.

Positive experience: A lovely boutique hotel with a very comfy bed. The breakfast was expensive though (& more expensive if you don't book in advance) so we didn't bother. Given the room had a coffee machine it would have been nice to have fresh milk or more than the tiny amount given and, for the price, maybe some biscuits.

Fantastic experience: We stayed at the Mont at the end of September for four nights. The Mont and their staff were absolutely amazing and went out of their way to assist us in every way they could. Our son was studying abroad at UCD which is approx. 5km outside of the city center. We did not have Euros or a bus pass for the public bus to get there. We asked Rosie who was working the front desk how we might get to the UCD. She replied "just use my bus pass!" We said there were two of us. She ADDED money to her account and gave us use of her card! Of course we paid her back after our trip, however the idea of someone we don't know letting us use her personal pass was extraordinarily kind, and goes to show you how amazing the staff at the Mont are. Another example: we had laundry we wanted to have washed. Because the laundry is picked up at 8:30am, we missed the pick-up. A Mont staff person who was walking past the front desk overheard our conversation and said, "I can take it to the cleaners myself and get it back to you before you leave this afternoon." They took our laundry and got it done before we left that day." They were amazing and we were truly grateful for all of the help. The kindness Rosie showed to us made our stay at the Mont that much more special. The rooms are wonderful, the Sin Bin Bar fun to have Pint in, and the breakfast amazing. Thanks to all the folks at the Mont, and Rosie, for a great time and for making our trip to Ireland that much more special.

Fantastic experience: The Mont Hotel exceeded my expectations. I (a former Dublin resident) stayed here for two nights for a brief stopover in Dublin on my way back to the States. The location is perfect for walking into city centre. Front desk staff were wonderful. My room (Cosy Double) was perfect for me as a solo traveler. The bed was super comfortable. I ate at the Sin Bin one time and service was a little slow but I think they were busier than expecting for later in the afternoon. Things got better once the evening shift workers arrived. Food was fine. I would highly recommend this hotel/would stay here again if back in Dublin!

Fantastic experience: Our stay at the Mont Hotel for 4 nights was a wonderful experience. Our room was clean (and kept clean by the housekeeping staff), well stocked, and comfortable. The location of the Hotel is perfect if you don’t mind a little 10 minute walk to get to the Temple Bar area and Grafton street. Now that we’re back in the US, we can’t help but miss the yummy Irish breakfast we were welcomed to each morning. The staff running the breakfast room in the morning (Ana Luisa, Olga, Rafaella, and Aline) we’re pleasant, helpful, and friendly! We would definitely recommend staying at the Mont Hotel (and getting the breakfast package too)!

Negative experience: Tourists: do not support this hotel. It is located in a protected structure in a historic part of Dublin City. The owners, without authorisation from Dublin City Council and without regard for its historical importance, have destroyed the facade of this building by painting it grey. Please read the media articles about this ongoing legal matter before supporting this business.

Fantastic experience: I'm currently staying, just finished breakfast after my first night, and I'll be staying another 4 nights. Because it's fresh on my mind, the breakfast buffet is the best I've ever been to, and I'm the kind of guy who cherishes a solid breakfast. Very impressed with everything here. The room is very comfy and clean. And the decor is so much better than the hotels I've been staying at previously. And it's great having a Nespresso machine in the room instead of the typical instant coffee provided at most hotels. The staff has been accommodating to such a degree I'm just amazed. I'm not one to say anything when I'm disappointed, but that won't be a concern here. Every single member of staff I've come across has been friendly has made sure I'm happy with arrangements. It's abundantly clear they like their jobs, or are just so good at them that I can't tell the difference. I'm from north America and was nervous booking a room here as I'm accustomed to chain hotels. After this experience, I won't be visiting a major chain again unless it just can't be avoided. 5 stars

Fantastic experience: As an adult couple looking to enjoy central Dublin this hotel was a perfect choice. Our room was very comfortable if a touch on the small side. We were also able to park our car locally for the duration of our visit. The staff were very attentive and looked after is while we chose from the many tasty breakfast options. Downstairs there is a very well appointed and clean gym with every machine that you could wish for.

Fantastic experience: This was probably the best of all the 4 star hotels that we stayed in during our trip. The room was nice, had ample space, and was clean. The service was good, tho it could have been slightly better, but not a big deal at all. The location was fantastic, a very easy walk to a wide range of restaurants and tourist destinations. Probably the biggest negative was the parking, which was overly complicated to access, a bit far away, and very unclean space that didn't convey "safe", in any way.

Fantastic experience: 1) the hotel staff was super nice and incredibly accommodating. You can tell they all like their jobs, because everyone was so happy 2) rooms are lovely, clean and in a great location 3) last, but most impressive to me, was the gym. I have never seen a better gym in any hotel that I have stayed at. If working out is important to you, just staying here for the gym alone is worth it. They have even the specialized, niche equipment you’re looking for

Fantastic experience: I spent 5 nights at the Mont and enjoyed it. The location is great right off Merrion Square in Dublin’s Georgian architecture area. You can walk everywhere and it is nice to be away from the Temple Bar area. The room was modest size and I wish that it has a closet. The best feature of the Mont is the spacious fitness center. The gym has a great collection of cardio equipment and weights- one of the best hotel gyms out there

Great location right next to Merrion Square Park and within 10 minutes of St. Stephen's Green, churches, libraries, Trinity College, etc. The rooms are cozy, modern, and well-equipped. The outlets are not just UK, but also European and US in case you forgot your adapter. The breakfast has many options, hot and cold, from pastries and breads to Full English-style options (hash browns, sausage, blood sausage, beans, etc) to cold cereals, to fruits and smoothies. You get your own small pot of coffee or tea per person. The dining area is also filled with light, and most of the seats are in window bays. Just very lovely overall. We also ate at their bar/restaurant one night, which the bartender was great, although it seemed too busy for just one person to be working.

Fantastic experience: This hotel is the hotel. We stayed here for three days and we couldn't ask for a better place. Excellent location. Within walking distance to places we wanted to be. Staff was great and we had a great stay here.

Positive experience: Typical city hotel, friendly staff, breakfast great, but thereafter food is a bit on the pub grub side. Had a beef sandwich that had a layer of cheese so thick and rubbery I had to peel it off.... thst said the beef was amazing. Very handy for the majority of central tourist attractions, you can walk to most and is on several bus routes and tourist bus routes. Overall 4.5 from me.

Fantastic experience: Stayed here for our 20th wedding anniversary. Brought our teenage sons along and we all agreed it was our best stay in Ireland. Absolutely one of our best stays ever at a hotel. Awesome staff, great location. We are talking about returning in the future and will definitely stay at The Mont for the duration.

Fantastic experience: (Quite) new hotel that is overall very nice. Rooms are clean, beds are comfy and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Best service I have seen in a while. What I miss is a wardrobe in the room. Space for clothes is very limited! I know that this is not uncommon for city hotels - but I still do not like it. The hotel is walking distance to Trinity College and to many Dublin sights. Temple Bar area is a 15 to 20 minute walk (which is doable as long as the Irish rain does not surprise you). Overall, the hotel is a good choice when staying in Dublin.

Positive experience: Good location. A couple of good pubs very close. Nice room on the 5th floor with a street view. Had issues with the aircon. Too hot. The staff we very apologetic but not resolved by the time we left. Ample breakfast. The bar menu is average and the meal we had was ordinary. Eat out. ......... Thanks for your reply Jamie. The AC was problem at night. It would not go below 24C. If it was set to 20C within an hour it would creep back to 24. That's way too hot, mate.

Fantastic experience: This is an excellent hotel, both for work and pleasure. The rooms are good, beds comfortable to sleep and breakfast is excellent. The staff is also friendly. But the BEST part is the excellent gym. One of the best I have seen in a hotel in Europe. Amazing. I would strongly recommend this hotel.

Fantastic experience: I am so pleased that I chose this hotel for my husbands 50th birthday treat in Dublin! The location was just right for us, in the quieter Merrion Square and over the road from the pretty Merrion Square Park, yet just a very short walk to bars, restaurants and all the best hot spots in Dublin. The staff were all so incredibly kind, friendly and welcoming ~ from leaving a lovely slice of cake and some fruit in our room with a birthday message on arrival, to sending us off to the airport with a lovely taxi driver and two complimentary fresh bottles of water. The cleaning team are incredible ~ the room was impeccable when we arrived and they maintained these standards throughout our stay, it was as though we had been given a totally fresh room each time with new fluffy towels etc, rather than the obligatory wipe down. There was no wardrobe just a hanging rail and hangers, however this was more than sufficient for our stay. Had we have been staying longer we would have appreciated a collapsible suitcase stand. There was a fridge in our room, with water and milk refreshed each day and enough space for a carton of oat milk and some snacks. They provided body lotion, shampoo, soap, body wash and a shower cap in the bathroom. A safe was provided free of use. There was a kettle, mugs, glasses, coffee, tea, sugar hot chocolate, although the biscuits weren't the best, so don't expect homemade cookies! The bed was one of the comfiest we've ever stayed in and we have stayed in many, we could have easily stayed longer and the bedding was really good quality too. The cost of the breakfast meant that we ate this elsewhere. We didn't eat any other meals at the hotel as we were so busy exploring each day, but it looked very nice. We would not hesitate to return to The Mont, largely due to it's location, cleanliness, comfort and of course it's friendly team of smiley staff ~ perfect!

Fantastic experience: Outstanding! Really super staff and a fantastic room, these things really made it for me. Excellent breakfast too, nothing was too much trouble, great service in the bar as well and Guinness was good and around six Euro a pint.

Positive experience: Quite impressive for a hotel that isn't a top global chain. Will definitely consider staying again. Nice room (Rm 430 was lovely & quiet re outside noise, compared to other posher hotels in Dublin). Comfy bed. Room thermostat a bit of a mystery (as they are in most hotels), with no instructions, & temp didn't seem to change despite my efforts. Very friendly & helpful staff at reception desk & breakfast. Tasty breakfast, with nice range of choice. Well equipped gym in basement. 5-10 mins walk to Trinity & St Stephen's Green.

Fantastic experience: There's a few bad reviews out there, but I can't understand why. Staff was very friendly, rooms with great conditions and comfortable, VERY GOOD location. Only complain I have is the floor should be vacuumed more often, you can notice the dust coming up sometimes.

Negative experience: The best days of this hotel are long gone. Requires a thorough renovation. Fantastic location. The carpets are old and smelly. One elevator (in the morning when groups leave - waiting time is long)

Fantastic experience: A great location for everything that we wanted to see in Dublin. What makes this hotel so special are all the staff from the front desk to the restaurant staff. They really make you feel like you are most important person to visit them. They are all kind, helpful and went above and beyond expectations. I would highly recommend this hotel to family and friends.

Fantastic experience: Great location - excellent base for easy access to all Dublin has to offer. Room was spotlessly clean. Check In & Check out was seamless. Parking is around the corner - nit owned by the hotel, but discounted price €15 / night. Will definitely consider staying in The Mont again if we back in Dublin.

Fantastic experience: This is a nice boutique hotel. The room was comfortable, the bed and pillows were great for sleep. The breakfast was also very good, with good selection. The hotel was clean, the personnel was very friendly.

Fantastic experience: If you're a gym rat. This is your hotel. Two big sets of dumbbells up to 50kg on both racks. Weight benches, squat racks with actual barbell and weight. Steppers, run tracks, static bikes, treadmill. Resistance bands and bags. Cables and some fixed machine, leg press etc. Incredible gym for a hotel, usually to yourself too. Breakfast was really great, staff friendly. Close to trinity college. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Modern, fresh interior. Will visit again on the background of the gym alone.

Positive experience: A reasonably nice and inexpensive hotel in the beating of Dublin. Nice rooms and good service. The breakfast, at €25, needs a serious refresh. Take a walk in the morning for a good local breakfast at 1/3 the price.

Negative experience: My flight was canceled to Dublin from Seattle. The airline rebooked for the next day. The Mont would not offer a refund of my prepaid night out of the 3 nights I booked, nor allow me to use the night I paid for a few days later after taking a few days to explore Ireland. As far as I'm concerned they stole $300usd from me. I am highly dissappointed in this hotel.

Fantastic experience: We reserved a table today in the Mont for lunch and to watch the rugby match. Honestly, from the minute we were shown to our table in front of the big screen, to the fabulous waiting staff’s attention to all we needed, we were blown away…so efficient, pleasant and a delight…. This was a special afternoon for us with our adult children and partners and the lovely experience and atmosphere in the Sin Bin bar of The Mont made it wonderful !

Fantastic experience: Business stay for 1 night . Renovated in 2019 . The design concept has transformed this hotel into a top boutique hotel which wouldn’t be out of place in London or New York . Great friendly helpful staff . Nice touch ringing to room to make sure everything was to my satisfaction on check in . The bar also transformed and a great place to watch sports event have a drink or have some bar food .. The gym looks awesome.. maybe next time !

Fantastic experience: A go to hotel for stay in Dublin for sure. Location is amazing, really close to the city centre. They allowed us 1 hour earlier check in with no problems and the room was really nice for the price we paid. I have to point out the bed.. it was so comfortable. Another highlight was the full Irish breakfast, really delicious. Definitely would stay here again.

Positive experience: The hotel room was good albeit on the smaller side due to the slanted roof. Amenities were good but nothing special. Absolut plus was the breakfast buffet which I really liked. It had a good variety and replenishment was quickly done by the staff. If sth was needed really urgently the staff made to order too. The biggest downside is the garage as it's a few walking minutes away and very small in terms of general space and number of parking spots.

Fantastic experience: Such a fantastic stay, room and breakfast were brilliant and staff were lovely. They allowed us to check in early and sorted out any slight issues we had during our stay with amazing service from Jamie. Would absolutely recommend staying here :)
