Negative experience: The place is flithy, grubby and outdated, the place needs a serious overhaul.There is much nicer and modern gyms in the area.

Positive experience: Good amenities for gym and have classes available including yoga, intensive exercise, etc. The site have a nice swimming pool with decent depth and length. They do have jacuzzi and sona too.

Negative experience: Changing rooms and toilets need to be redone at this stage never a locker with a lock available and showers always freezing, needs to be some staff on in the evening to watch the pool area as it's mayhem with teenagers and families doing as the please in the pool. Staff are brilliant, classes are good, gym floor is ok when machines are working, but definitely a maintenance plan needs to be put in place from the General Manager it's not fair for the gym staff to have to work like this, it's out of their control what needs to be done.

Positive experience: Nice atmosphere, and kids swimming lessons

Fantastic experience: Staff are top drawer, very professional, friendly, knowledgeable and can't do enough to help. Equipment is good, pool area great, place is well cleaned, and they just added really nice water purified dispenser,Id happily reccommended this location Kevin

Fantastic experience: amazing customer service.. very friendly staff.. i love the sauna and steam room after hitting the gym.. i just wish the shower rooms are cleaner though, needs scrubbing off of the walls, not just the floors.. nonetheless, i love going to Club Vitae

Negative experience: Changing rooms and facilities are disgusting. Toilets never cleaned on days I’ve been there. Once reported a broken light in one of the toilets. Instead of fixing it they just put it out of order and never repaired it. Other toilet has a broken door which was never replaced. Bins never emptied. Seems like maintenance and hygiene for the club are not a priority.

Positive experience: Edit to add: steam room tiles are absolutely disgusting, need a deep clean and probably a daily cleaning roster with more intense scrubbing, visibly dirty. Ick Could do with a bit of a makeover and at times can smell a little weird. They don't ever respond to their Instagram queries (months I wrote) I've never been able to get through on the phone either. The staff are friendly enough. Gets busy, the booking system isn't amazing but does the job.

Fantastic experience: This gym is one of the nicest, i love the equipment, their classes and the personal trainers are very good, especially Vlad.

Positive experience: Nice gym and pool but their membership is too expensive for what they are charging you would swear they were open 24/7.

Fantastic experience: Storm Sean hit the pool deck this morning and what a fab aqua class.. If it wasnt a Happy Monday when you got up this morning it was definitly a Happy Monday by the time we left the pool. Seans enthusiasm and upbeat personality is infectious. To be fair Aqua is always fun and sets us up for the day no matter which Trainer is on the pool deck.. however Sean smashed it today. Thank you

Positive experience: Went to join gym had look around. Receptionist Hayley was lovely. They had a sign apologies while maintenance was going on. Gym was ok some of the equipment needed repairing or replacing but otherwise all was OK. Pool looks nice and it definitely suits me. I joined and happy

Positive experience: Nice and clean pool and shower areas, but half of the lockers in the mens room have broken latches

Positive experience: Not bad, good selection of implements but not enough plates and only bumpers at hand.. no deadlift station and the kids don't know how to put the plates back. Very messy gym too.. the floor needs a vacuum, machine are bit dated but is what it is and does the job as a hotel gym.. would I pay membership here?

Fantastic experience: I have been visiting in the gym Club Vitae for seven months now. lovely staff. Masters of their craft, pleasant and friendly. In particular, I want to highlight the class of Circuits with Vlad and Adam, box fit with Sean, bumps with the beautiful Haeleigh. Eric is a Pilates master. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: This is a great gym with very friendly staffs.The equipments are not brand new but in a decent condition.I used to go here at peak time and still its okay to get the weights as it is not over crowded.Also they have pool , Jccuzi and locker.Lots of people are coming for the swimming .Totally one of the best gym for an avarage price of 47 euro which included the pool per month..

Fantastic experience: Love Adam’s spin & boxercercise classes. He a lovely guy who engages with the members and is genuinely interested in teaching the class. Always love seeing his classes on the weekly timetable.

Fantastic experience: Great gym. New equipment... brilliant classes. Everybody is really friendly and welcoming. Cathal & Dave 2 great lads in the management team.. pride themselves on helping people.. the knowledge they have for fitness is fantastic and they’re always happy to share it or motivate. Whatever is needed. Clean swimming pool and changing areas. What more could you need from a gym. Look it up. 5 star club. 5 star service.

Fantastic experience: I went to Boxfit and Circuit classes with Vlad last week. Absolutely brilliant classes with a great instructor. Definitely worth booking in!

Positive experience: A decent variety of equipment. Some are broken. Pool, Sauna and Steam room are very good. Staff are nice, friendly and can have the craic. The gym can be a bit stuffy with people at certain times, it can be really cold, which is not very good for your joints when exercising (even after warming up). My brother banged his head off the wall because of a broken chair. And certain weights are sometimes hard to find. 5kg to about 15kg (like a lot of gyms). The gym is more expensive as time goes by, showers are a slipping hazard and the gym membership comes with a contract. This is NOT for people on the cheap. And NOT for proper gym goers, all the equipment you want is not there or at least you'll be waiting around. I haven't been in a while, so things could have changed.

Negative experience: Was in swimming pool last week and some one stole my brand new hoodie from locker when I was in shower.

Positive experience: What a shame this gym just feels so unloved. I was staying at the Clayton hotel and choose it specifically because the gym was meant to be good. The equipment is tired, there is a lack of weights for women. Lack pf space near the free weights. No mats to move and use only 3 huge things that you can get near equipment or weights. The cleanliness isn't great either. This is only in the gym I did not use the poor or spa.

Negative experience: I had a swimming pool Membership and I DON’T recommend it. The water was never clean, very strong smell. Going for an exercise swimming is a nightmare, as the pool is open for the hotel guest who walks and stands around the swimming lanes. There is no lifeguard to enforce pool etiquette. Constante private swimming lessons taking an entire lane for one person. Changing room always smells very bad, soap dispenser and hairdryers are always broken. Absolutely desastre. Avoid it. Paid Membership only gave me stress and disappointment when my goal was relaxing and swimming.

Fantastic experience: Only done 2 days as of yet in the gym but everyone seems very friendly and helpful. The pool is also perfect for learning to swim for children (They have lessons) and for everyday use. They have lockers (you can buy locks for them at the gym Reception). Roomy changing rooms and showers. Sauna and jacuzzi. Brilliant so far

Negative experience: The changing room is not clean , the bathroom inside women changing room without luck it was broken, another bathroom and changing room the sink was blocked full of dirt and water . Swimming pool not clean . It was disgusting. Don't waste ur money and don't let the pictures on the website decive u awful

Fantastic experience: Small gym area with plenty of equipment. 2 rooms for classes. Nice pool area with hot tub, steam and sauna. Plenty of helpful, informative and friendly staff around. Definitely worth a visit

Positive experience: The jacuzzi is very small. You will only get lane swimming for adults, as the pool is usually full of kids clubs.

Positive experience: Go to aqua monday and thursday. Someties to gym aquaWith denise Ryan she is excellent at her instructor and great personality the best with aqua. Also Martin byrne good instructor. New staff there doing there best. The upkeep needs improvement also cleaning of showers .

Positive experience: Very happy with the place. Staff are great and most things in good condition. Disabled facilities very poor however. Out of order for last 6 months at least.

Positive experience: Welcoming staff. Lockers are locked with a padlock. No lifeguard. The deep end is about 5 foot deep. There is a kids pool, a steam room and a waterless sauna. Towels and swim caps are available. The pool is warm. Changing rooms are big enough with toilet cubicles and showers. There is wheelchair access. I didn't see a winch into the pool. I would have liked the water to be clearer. The pool it self is a small one. The two swim lanes were used to lessons

Negative experience: Last time I was here , I was let in without a membership with a guest pass, a month later I’m refused to enter as the staff tells me that they don’t allow guests, so apparently every staff treats your differently, couldn’t try out the gym and pool before joining and had to pay €3 for parking.

Negative experience: Cons: Place is in bad nick. No air conditioning in the gym or spin room. Leaking drainage pipework in the car park. Unhelpful staff. Clearly no maintenance. Pros: has a pool and is close to home. Conclusion At €48 a month attached to a hotel you'd expect it to be better run. 30 day notice to leave is also a rip.

Negative experience: Without exaggeration, I have phoned 10 times over the last 2 weeks to enquire about membership. And not once has anybody answered the phone. Not once. Flyfit next door it is.

Negative experience: I cancelled my membership as the gym was completely closed and then only partially open and it was impossible for me to get a slot. My husband cancelled at the same time and the notice period was waived and he was not charged for August whereas I did not even got a reply to my email. Im very disappointed with the service and I think the least that could be done is that I be provided with the same treatment as others who cancelled for the same reason and be provided with a refund. Poor service and they cannot provide a proper receipt (they send a screenshot of their system instead) Stay away! Thiago Rodrigues

Fantastic experience: Only joined here a few weeks ago. Pool only membership. Pool is warm..same level all way round..great for non confident swimmer. Showers are closed due to covid so can't comment on them . Changing room always clean. Staff are helpful and friendly and if they don't know Answer to your question they will find out and email /call promptly.

Positive experience: First and seams last time in swimming pool. Lockers are closed with cable ties and no one on desk tell you about how to place your things or any valuable even if is watch or phone or car key? Where? There is no keys on lockers and no one give you one on desk. Design was remain in old used lockers in 1980' and need renovation. Water is tested regulary and will be nice to place one big wall table and simple temperature display and Chlor level...as many s.pools have worldwide. Bcs of Covid all pool is divided in wire squares. Impossible to swimm. Safety guy need to warn parents of screaming children to behave properly. Solve lockers closing changing all at once or at least one section of 30 pcs.
