The Warehouse Gym

Positive experience: Very good equimpent, good range of machines, nice staff. But just missing a few esssentials. There is no temperature control in the showers so a scalding hot shower isnt what im looking for after an intense workout, this can be easily fixed but isnt prioritised. The machines are good but there is little maintenance on them, for example all of the treadmills fans are broken. There is never a working weighing scale. The majority of the lockers in the changing rooms dont close properly and people use the lockers without a lock so if there are no lockers left and you prefer to lock your stuff away its very difficult to find a locker that actually locks that someone else isnt using without a lock. They should dedicate an area for lockers to be locked and lockers where they dont need to be locked.

Positive experience: Probably one of the best gyms I’ve been to! Very new and modern equipment, they also had some super fancy ones that I’ve never seen anywhere else. We got a day pass for €15 which is nevertheless a bit too pricey in my eyes. Also the staff was not very attentive.

Positive experience: My previous review was not very good (***) but after some constructive feedback and email conversation with management I noticed some positive changes and I promised I will update my review. Sauna is working much better now. Temperature is around 80°C to 90°C which is fantastic. Cold shower is now available, it's a little far from sauna but still useful. Equipment is serviced more often so you see less "out of order" signs. It's nice to see businesses taking some feedback in positive way.

Fantastic experience: The Warehouse Gym in Knocknacarra is fantastic! The staff are incredibly friendly and always make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. The atmosphere is positive and motivating, making it a great place to train. There's a great selection of equipment, and the facilities are always clean and well-maintained. The changing rooms are modern and the sauna is a perfect addition for post-workout relaxation. Highly recommend this gym for anyone serious about fitness or just looking for a great workout environment!

Positive experience: Great gym, I would give 5 stars but it’s too warm and stuffy. Needs better, colder, airflow. The warehouse gym in Monivea is much better on this

Negative experience: 1. Thieves on gym. My powerlifting belt been stolen. And jacket from changing room few weeks after. 2. Unpleasant staff on reception ( especially girls) I don't expect that everyone will be welcoming me with red carpet but replay"hi " to customers "hi"would be nice. 3. 50% of people makes pictures for insta and occupying machines instead working out. Not everyone has unlimited time for gym.

Negative experience: Here's a reason why one star, cost of membership is 732€ per year and that's the highest value in C.O Galway. The whole Gym equipment is from extremely cheap material, and first impression is like it was purchased from aliexpress, that's including bumper plates. From 6 stairmasters was only one working, rest are completely broken. Treadmills are dirty and as you can see that dirt is there for at least 6 months. Sauna is out of order for multiple months. Customer service is very poor but as they making minimum wage I don't have any expectation, now they should say at least "Hi" when I would like to pay for day pass. Workout wasn't enjoyable as Gym equipment need maintenance, please check safety handles at hack squad machine as they are falling down and that's not safe. I do have to say, it's a perfect location and idea. Great carpark and acces to grocery stores. Nice changing room, only thing I like is a floor from the safety point of the view. Final thoughts: quality of product and value simply doesn't match. Its like when you wanna buy skoda but you have to pay to mercedes. You can still drive from point A to point B with skoda, safe money and do workout someone else.

Negative experience: Absolute trash! I had cancelled my membership and cancelled the direct debit but they setup the direct debit after a month again and took 54 euros. When I contacted them, the lady at the reception was rude and completely unbothered.

Fantastic experience: Good higher end gym machines of good quality and even when busy you’re never waiting long. Good change room showers and bathrooms. Sauna and plunge pool are often out of order which is an annoying but still quite good overall

Negative experience: Staff were lazy rude and really unprofessional. Very unsatisfied and won’t be returning.

Negative experience: The gym isn’t that bad, good selection of equipment. Having said that, some of the equipment is pretty cheap, the cable machine are terrible. The worst part and the reason I took most of the stars away is the sad “recovery” area. The suana is terrible, I have been to holidays where it was hotter. It looks good I guess but does not work. And almost anyone you speak to regardless of how long they have been a member all say the same. The cold plunge is supposedly is “out of Service “ for 12 months. If you don’t need suana or cold shower /plumage I guess this is good gym. But this day and age and the importance of suana and cold I think they should invest in this. As I believe this could be a great gym if it was invested in .

Positive experience: My new default gym. Well worth the price especially compared to other local gyms in the area. That said, I'm not a fan of some of the lockers not working properly in the men's changing room as well as the constant moving of the machines, although I understand that you need to try to maximize the space you guys have. But yeah overall I'd recommend going here. Try the day pass and get a feel for the place first if you're undecided

Positive experience: Overall decent gym but a few problems. It's way too busy, very difficult to do the exercises I want in order. Sometimes at all. Some of the equipment is busted, like the cable machines. The clientele are pretty obnoxious. Half of them are zoomers who stand around in their socks, talking in groups instead of using equipment. The others are half naked posers who are more interested in filming and taking photos of themselves than anything. Some staff members act more like members, hanging out with their favourite gymgoers. Personally, I will be moving gyms soon.

Fantastic experience: I came here looking for counterfeit goods or to maybe see a mafia shootout. Initially I was disappointed but then I decided to try exercising and I actually really liked it. Do not come to this warehouse for crime. It is a gym.

Fantastic experience: Great gym, heaps of machines, loads of racks, free weights, dumbbells, multi functional training areas. Clean locker rooms with sauna and plunge pools. All the staff are super friendly and helpful.

Positive experience: Looks like the best gym around to the naked eye but when you start using the weights/machines, you realise its cheap and poor quality. They seem to have gone for aesthetics over function with the gym gear. The cardio equipment is good. Recovery room is out of order more then open. Many member rather pose and take pictures/videos of themselves then train.

Fantastic experience: Really Fabulous gym ideally located. Plenty of equipment meaning even at peak (around 6pm I find) when the place looks PACKED you are no more then 1 minute waiting for your selected area to be free. The staff are the best part of warehouse gym - every staff member is friendly and welcoming. As someone who had never used a gym before I found the staff helpful and welcoming. So many gyms seem to cater only for people who are already very built and have been going for years. Warehouse gym treat every customer like a friend and are more then helpful. Only minor disappointment is the ice baths being out of order for so long however I’m sure they will repair these - perhaps making one shower cold in the meantime could help cool off after the amazing new sauna. 5 stars and a very very very happy customer here.

Fantastic experience: A great addition to galway 5 stars aint enough for this high end cost freindly gym, with ample amount of free parking and more than enough equipment and space to get any type of workout done. Cleanliness is always to a very high standard also Which is always great to see.

Positive experience: Locker room is painful, change the daft locker code flashy light nonsense, everything else is perfect.

Positive experience: Incredibley spacious GYM with loads of equipment. It leans heavily on free weights/machines, at the detriment to dedicated stretching/calisthenic routine areas, which is the reason for only 4 stars. A climbing peg board would be a cool addition!

Fantastic experience: All 3 Warehouse Gym locations in Galway are excellent, especially my local one in Oranmore. The equipment is great, there are loads of options, free weights, racks, machines, cables, cardio and a studio. The gyms, gents toilets and changing rooms are very clean (I've never used the ladies) and the staff are brilliant - friendly, qualified, knowledgeable, experienced and very approachable...

Positive experience: Very good gym but not getting a full 5 stars from me simply because finding a locker in the changing room can be really hard. Such a big gym with such a small obsolete changing room, should’ve been planned better. Also not enough exercise mats.
