Fantastic experience: Brilliant coaches and classes! Gym always clean and it’s a perfect place to get a good workout done!

Positive experience: Small gym, does the job with limited equipment

Negative experience: A member of Fuse Smithfield and I am becoming increasingly frustrated with the late openings. Joined this gym as it states its open at 6am midweek, only to arrive and be left waiting for the gym to open. Today was the worst day yet, arrived at 6.15am, gym closed, left and came back at around half 7, still not open (no notification that the gym was closed no signs on the doors/ windows). It's a weekly occurrence of late openings and very frustrating. Unacceptable when you are paying a membership and are left waiting outside past opening hours.

Negative experience: Starting to turn into a joke. Doesn't open when it's supposed to, classes are cancelled, entire weekend no classes... and no satisfaction or warnings to clients. Other Fuse gyms have more classes and consistency than this. Understaffed. Since the gym doesn't even bother to answer phone calls or emails, perhaps a review will make it wake up.

Fantastic experience: One of the best value for money gyms I’ve ever been to. Thanks to the Fuse team for always making me feel welcome

Negative experience: Spam emails daily despite unsubscribing and emailing the gym directly in the last few days with no response. Gave them my email YEARS ago when I was interested in joining, unsubbed at that time because I never joined and they have still kept my details it seems. Disgraceful

Negative experience: This gym keep spamming me with mail even though I was never a member. Annoying! EDIT: in response to the owners reply - I was a member of Energie Fitness for a month in March 2020 for a month until the closure was announced. If you deleted my details in the system then why am I still receiving mail from you?

Fantastic experience: Been going to this gym since September, it’s a great gym and great value for money. Never packed and really lovely staff. Perfect for daily workouts and the have a range of popular classes. 10 outta 10 for what it is, also has a really chilled vibe & I really like that.

Negative experience: Eu não gostei do sistema de cadastro da Fuse. Me cadastrei duas vezes sem querer ao inciar a academia e o sistema não reconheceu o meu primeiro cadastro. Contudo descontou duas vezes o cadastro e duas mensalidades, não tenha percebido que tinha acontecido isso. Mas o que fiquei mais chateada foi com o suporte para resolver esse problema.

Positive experience: Would love to have a stairmaster machine since there are plenty of other machines .If you could have that machine ,it’ll be the best .

Negative experience: The best thing about this gym is that it's close to my workplace. Oterwise it was far from the best gym I tried. The gym lacked both machines, equipment and mirrors. Guess you can get an ok workout. Good thing was that you can try it for free once

Positive experience: Small and compact.

Positive experience: It's a good gym and nice staff. The gym is not crowded even on peak hours but I think it should have more bench press and squat racks and more leg machines in general.

Negative experience: I was disappointed in this gym. Having attended spin classes here for some time I decided to leave as the spin bikes were not up to standard. The foot straps on all the bikes are broken, stiff and unusable. But most importantly, most of the bike seats are loose and dangerous. I have seen multiple peoples, including my own, seats collapse under them during a session. Management need to seriously look into having the bikes serviced.

Fantastic experience: Very good

Negative experience: Paid €200 for personal training in September, got an email to say they'd be in touch re scheduling the sessions and I've yet to hear from them. I've emailed multiple times, messaged the trainer on Instagram and even called into the gym to leave my details for someone to contact me and still nothing. Couldn't be more disappointing.

Negative experience: I had been a regular member couple years, however decided to move elsewhere. Although Smithfield branch is quite small, still have a huge room for improvements. Things tekes unbelievable way too long to get fixed, like the lat pull down machine which was left broken almost 3 months (until the day I left), the wall clock was left w not battery for months until I left it in the reception, however never been replaced back again. Equipment needs upgrade to get similar as the other gym around, like squatting machines could be replaced for modern/fixed more secure with safety bars, mirrors are needed to watch the exercise execution, equipment rearrangement so more machines could be fitted in etc. Some members needed urgently be addressed with personal hygiene communications, where the poor area ventilation worse the smell. Air con filter needs urgently be cleaned The good it’s not crowded, classes included in the membership, friendly staff, good atmosphere.

Negative experience: Good: The gym is not too crowded. Many classes are included in the membership. The mobile app is good. Bad: There are no safety bars for the squat racks, which makes it very risky. The pull-down machine is unusable for months now. There are no mirrors in front of the squat racks, so we can't check our form. I've observed that most of the squatters here have terrible form. Sometimes, the smell is so bad that it makes me nauseous. Reason? Bad hygiene of particularly 1 or 2 gym members and lack of ventilation.

Negative experience: Membership is great value for the location and the staff are friendly. I've been a member for over a year, but unfortunately the place has seriously been in decline for the last few months. Cable machines have been left out of order for weeks, some are held together with tape and others have been left falling apart to the point of feeling borderline unsafe. I know it's a small thing, but the clock in the free weights area that I used to time rests was left broken on the wall for two weeks and was then just removed instead of replacing. Small things like this are adding up to a sub-par experience. There's also serious issues with member's hygiene that need to be addressed. Machines are rarely wiped down after use. Very bad smells (I know it's a gym but it's the worst I've experienced) to the point I've ended workouts early to get out of the place. This is not helped by a lack of air circulation. It's a shame because the vibe is usually good. I hope they can figure out how to turn this around. In the meantime, I'm moving my membership elsewhere.

Negative experience: I don’t recommend this place, normally there are some machine with problem. There aren’t many equipments.

Negative experience: I was shocked at the standard of fuse gym Smithfield compared to my regular fuse gym in Waterford. From the size, equipment, hygiene and just general maintenance of the gym, I won't be using this gym again.

Negative experience: I have quit my membership here because of how disgusting it is inside. It’s in bad news of more vents and air circulation. It’s especially bad because this is literally the smelliest gym I have ever been in. I know it’s a gym and people are there to sweat but this place absolutely reeks because many of the gym users clearly never wash themselves and never wash their gym clothes. It’s like they work out in the same clothes over and over again in the same nasty workout gear and never ever wash it. I’ve quit my workouts early because i just had to get out of there. I suggest that the gym start urging users to be more mindful of not offending fellow gym users. One gym I used to go to actually had signs posted everywhere urging patrons to wash their clothes regularly and come to the gym not smelling like the most god awful BO so that the gym can be a pleasant experience for everyone. Those signs must have worked because people complied, and they were warned that they would be asked to leave if they didn’t. This is basic human courtesy.

Positive experience: This is an old gym I trained in, always felt good training here, very good set up.

Fantastic experience: The price of the membership is great, I don’t think that you could find anything as good as that in Dublin. I love the community there so helpful and nice. The music is great - very energetic. Highly recommend

Fantastic experience: Fantastic little gym that has most if not everything you'll need. The app covers alot of ground for what you'll need and the staff are extremely friendly. Everyone seems happy out and not a single rude roid head in sight

Positive experience: Nothing to do with other FUSE gyms. Some machines are old, not enough weight plates and not enough machines. Dumbells and cardio machines are nice, as well as the free training area.

Negative experience: Dear Gym Management, I am writing to express my concerns about the functionality of the treadmills at your facility. Despite bringing this issue to the attention of your staff, the treadmills continue to exhibit poor performance. They frequently malfunction, abruptly stopping and resetting themselves. This disrupts the workout experience and hampers our ability to achieve our fitness goals effectively. Additionally, I would like to suggest the installation of ventilation devices, such as fans, in the treadmill area. Adequate airflow is not only essential for the comfort of gym-goers but also contributes to a healthier environment during workouts. I hope you take these matters seriously and consider addressing them promptly. Improving the reliability of the treadmills and enhancing the overall ventilation in the facility would greatly benefit the members and create a more enjoyable and productive gym environment. Thank you for your attention to these concerns. I look forward to seeing positive changes in the near future.

Fantastic experience: Firstly, I just like to thank both Coaches Luan and Rhys for all their support to our group who attended for an 8 week PT session. The group whom attended the group PT are all Brain Injury Survivors of different abilities and both coaches where amazing with support and encouragement throughout the process. The gym itself has a lovely environment, clean machines and space to navigate comfortably. Thanks again to FUSE and the team. We will for sure be returning for another 8 week block very soon.

Fantastic experience: It’s the Best gym. Fuse has everything that you need to do an efficient workout. Good equipment and classes with excellent professionals. If you have any questions or doubt about the right way to do some specific exercise they will help you for sure. Btw Fuse is less busy than the others gyms and I love it.

Fantastic experience: A special note about the Personal Trainer *Vine*. He always makes a big effort to familiarize me with the movements and machines. He is always available when I have questions and patiently explains everything. He is helping me a lot reach my goals. I cannot recommend it highly enough!

Positive experience: Is a good Gym in Genera and has all the essential equipment and machines, would be helpful to have other machines variety. I think the female toilets and the free area should have a bit better attention to the cleanse. So far so good the best gym around. And last but not least Vini is such a good and essential instructor always nice and ready to help.

Positive experience: Lovely gym and clean. Has most of the essential machines. However, the gym is not very big and could be a bit crowded during peak hours. But generally enjoyed working out there, price was friendly compared to other gyms in the area and the coaches are friendly and helpful.

Positive experience: Minha esposa e eu iniciamos faz pouco tempo, estamos gostando muito a academia é pequena mas tem todos os equipamentos necessários para os exercícios e mesmo quando esta cheia conseguimos usar, so demora um pouco mais. Ao ir na academia perguntamos como funcionava e o funcinário Venilson (Vine) foi muito atencioso e explicou muito bem como funciona a academia e depois que começamos ele sempre se disponibiliza para nos ajudar.

Positive experience: Apesar de ser um espaço pequeno, conseguimos usar os aparelhos disponíveis e o atendimento é de primeira. Fora que tem atividades extras para potencializar ainda mais nossos resultados. Frequento 4 a 5 vezes na semana e pra mim é sempre um prazer. O Vine sempre é muito atencioso comigo e com meu esposo, tira todas as dúvidas sobre o uso dos aparelhos.

Negative experience: It is way too busy for the size. Only two squat racks which have always people on them. Really hard to use any of the equipment, even at off peak times it is always busy.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to this gym 18 months now and I find it great. They have lots of group classes on all week and morning classes on the weekend. All the trainers are so friendly and helpful too

Positive experience: I've been going to gyms for 40 years of my life so far; here in Ireland where I reside, Spain, the UK, the USA, and Canada where I'm originally from. I can say from experience that this is an excellent gym with very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended.

Negative experience: It's honestly being impossible to work out here since the gym is constantly full. Very frustrating. I'll probably look for other options around. The staff is amazing tho, specially Luan and Matheus

Fantastic experience: Great gym. I go there in off peak hours so usually not a lot of people. My trainer was Sara and I couldn't have had a better experience. I was pretty apprehensive when I started, it was my first time in a real gym, and she really made me feel at home there. She wasn't afraid to push me as well when she knew I was capable of more than I thought I was. All in all, couldn't have found better

Fantastic experience: For someone who really dislikes gym settings and atmosphere, I can say this is the only gym I actually enjoy going to. I have tried probably 10-15 different gyms in 10 different countries in total. The trainers are great, the gym is always clean and never too crowded.

Fantastic experience: Amazing gym. Lovely people who help you do what you want with your body. Could not give it 6 stars out of 5 so had to settle with 5/5 stars. Can not recommend this place enough. 3 months there and lost sooo much weight. Leaving the country so sad to leave the gym too, but after these 3 months am soo much stronger phyically and mentally

Fantastic experience: Memberships here are fantastic value especially compared to others in the area! It has almost everything you could want, and all the equipment is very good quality. The staff are friendly, always a smile. It could maybe do with 1 more squat rack and some spotter arms for the racks. The gym is relatively small so when its busy its super busy - but loads of quiet slots earlier in the day. Initially I was disappointed to see the climbing frame thing go, but it really made the space way more useful. Sometimes its hard to know where to go to cool down or do some body weight schtuff to free up the squat rack if there is a class on in the open area. I'm not tough enough to do lunges on carpet! So moving the "green climbing frame thing" was a good shout. My only gripe is I would love to have weights indicated on the kettle bells. I'm not experienced enough to judge weight by hand, i think the numbers came off them at the start of lock downs when they were cleaned... Overall a nice clean well equipped local gym at a very good price. A bargain to be honest.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love FUSE gym as I am a member for over a year now. FUSE have gym across Ireland which you can use freely once you have a membership. Highly recommend

Fantastic experience: What I like most about this gym is how the staff are friendly and helpful, specially Vinny Bravim who is very well experienced coach who is always careful and helpful. He helps a lot on showing the right way to perform the exercises and also with well prepared and enjoyable classes that certainly make a huge difference compared with others places.
