POWER Gym Galway

Fantastic experience: Love this gym. Great facilities and equipment. The classes are challenging and fun. The trainers are brilliant at what they do and super friendly.

Negative experience: Absolutely horrible staff at the front desk . The tall guy was incessantly rude , unpleasant and lacked any mental aptitude or common sense. Had something in my pocket (an empty tiniest clear tote for my iPad and cell phone ) and he was trying to force me to put in the locker . Wouldn’t let me in and borderline attempted to pat me down to make sure I didn’t have it in my pocket. Whatever tiny bit of power he had in his life tried to wheel over on me with indignation and horrible attitude. He spoke to me like a misogynist which as a woman made me feel gross and uncomfortable. The manager of the hotel was absolutely no help and seemed to side with the misogynist. Seems like it is well tolerated in this establishment and they are okay with mistreatment of women . This employee should be FIRED. Absolutely disgusting , appalling and disgraceful. Would never stay there or spend a dollar there

Fantastic experience: Love this place ☺️ Staff are amazing and so helpful and kind & the classes are brilliant!! Literally made me love exercising and I’ve never felt more fit and healthy - thanks everyone

Fantastic experience: A member for the past year and it’s by far the best gym I’ve ever been a member of, not your typical hotel gym. The classes are brilliant and the trainers are the best I’ve come across, always willing to guide you on form and technique. The number of members is well managed so there’s always a rack or bench free, it’s never too full, and facilities are obviously very high end. Worth every cent

Fantastic experience: Amazing gym all round. Beautiful equipment, great classes, amazing pool and sauna facilities. I couldn’t be happier with the quality of the gym and the attitude/positivity of the trainers. A real upscale gym in the heart of Galway city. The ice baths are a huge bonus.

Fantastic experience: joined recently. classes look fun. for the moment i am enjoying some quick afterwork visits. equipment is great & staff is also bringing their a-game. waiting for a cold plunge unit.. will see how things evolve over the next few months.

Fantastic experience: Such an incredible training space. The infrastructure, the thought process behind why the space needs to function along with an excellent class timetable makes this a superior Gym. Power Run is my favorite class and the post sweat reward of a sauna, steam and invigorating shower has changed my winter.
