Positive experience: Black Island used to be lovely. However, it was recently closed for several months for "tree clearing after a storm". There are still some paths blocked and the main path had already been cleared before the extended closure. White Island and castle area still nice.

Positive experience: Muckno Park in Castleblayney is lovely place for a family walk and the views are brilliant. Nearby there is a park for kids to feed the ducks and get an ice cream. They have a wonderful playground too.

Positive experience: I love it here but the forest is full of rubbish as a result of the van selling plastic coffee lids and drinks. It's all over the path and hidden in bushes. As Killarney did, all single use coffee cups and ice drink containers need to be banned. They're destroying the environment.

Positive experience: We pulled into Castleblayney as we needed a stop on our car journey with the little one. Couldn't believe how we stumbled upon this beautiful park. The park had great space, trails, amenities and plenty of beauty. We might actually plan to stop in Castleblaney next time! Plenty more to explore in the park.

Positive experience: Ideal for walkers and runners. Pathways through and around a forest on a hill overlooking Lake Muckno. The lake caters for boats and fishing. There's a van that offers coffee etc.,close to a picnic area at edge of the walk ways. Very scenic.

Positive experience: Очень уютный красивый, и доступный парк так как находиться в центре города! В парке есть все что нужно для семейного отдыха, так же много места для ловли рыбы, большая детская площадка с кучей качель, много столиков где можно сесть отдохнуть и поесть, много дорожек для бега и вело прогулок, так же огромное озеро где летом можно купаться! Всем советую посетить и отдохнуть в этом великолепном парке! (минус это нужно дорожки лучше засыпать щебенкой что бы было меньше грязи после дождя)
