Negative experience: Amazing gym! We are quite lucky to have something like this in Waterford. Been a member for a while now. However: Asked a member of staff if it’s possible to move treadmills upstairs for the Hyrox trial on the 15th September which they are running but as expected, their egos are so big and some of their attitudes stink. They’re too ignorant to care since it’s not their thing. They just ruin it on everyone. Also the Hyrox classes are always booked out with a waiting. The demand is there. The management does not seem to care one bit. “ they aren’t involved in Hyrox” as they said. It does not concern them. If it isn’t powerlifting equipment, it won’t get done. It’s frustrating, especially since Hyrox is becoming big in Waterford, and they’re missing the opportunity to support their members. On a positive note, huge thanks to the three amazing coaches involved – Ciara, Shannon, and Jack – who have done and still do incredible work getting people ready for their comps and keeping others fit. I’m sure many people appreciate their efforts!

Negative experience: Extremely disappointed with the discriminatory treatment my partner and I received at Xtreme CSC Waterford. Despite being loyal members, we were publicly humiliated by staff, singled out for assisting each other during our workout session, while other couples faced no such scrutiny. This discriminatory behaviour is unacceptable. Transparency regarding gym policies was also lacking. We expect better treatment and inclusivity from a fitness establishment. Disheartened by the experience.

Positive experience: Brilliant gym. Brilliant equipment, plenty of space. The one thing i do not like is that larger plates are in pounds and smaller ones are in KGs. This makes it difficult to calculate what weights to use when mixing and matching. I'd prefer if they were in KGs as we use the metric system in Ireland.

Fantastic experience: My son joined extreme loves it, staff are so accommodating and helpful and reliable to younger teenagers, would not leave a young teenager on their own without a lift if they had none, very very helpful
