Fantastic experience: We had a lovely stay at Schull Harbour Hotel. Our room was beautiful and clean, all covid measures were followed. The diner as well as the breakfast was good and the leisure center is well equipped. The pool is perfect for families as there is also a small pool for children and they provide toys to play. We would love to come back!

Fantastic experience: I am a member of the leisure centre which is always really clean with very friendly staff. The gym although small has a nice selection of machines and weights. The pool is excellent.

Positive experience: Please go take the chef to Crookhaven & see how they do crab sandwiches. Ordered them today which is a signature West Cork dish & was sorely disappointed. Staff here are great however & prawn sandwiches spot on. Good burgers & chips but crab sandwiches need refining.

Fantastic experience: I really can’t wait to get back here when everything opens back up. The rates were reasonable, our room was really comfortable and clean with a great view of the harbour. The food was lovely and the staff were great with the children. There is a large car park across the road with a playground beside it.

Fantastic experience: Just back from Schull we stayed 3 nights in this hotel it was fantastic the hotel is lovely very cozy and the staff were brill, Sinead on reception was so nice and friendly and helpfulu would want to go back again, PJ in the bar and restaurant was very good and he would really make u feel welcome nothing was a bother to him, and in the bar young Danny was always friendly and happy, we will defo go back again

Fantastic experience: My sister and I went to have a coffee and some and instead were tempted by the Union Hall crab sandwich with lemon mayo.... So glad we gave in! It was absolutely delicious. Fionn was such a welcoming member of staff and looked after us really well. Worth his weight in gold. Will definitely go back.

Fantastic experience: What a gem of a spot. Schull is a super little village to explore West Cork from, and this hotel is the place to base yourself. Staff went out of the way to make sure we were happy, lovely view from the room, amazing brekky and Dog Friendly to boot. The pool / leisure centre is of 5* quality and reason enough to return to Schull Harbour Hotel. We'll be back!

Fantastic experience: What a lovely town to visit and stay The beautiful sea breeze the taste of salt in your mouth and a lovely walk both sides of the pier some exercise machines along the way there were steps down onto a rocky beach area which was perfect for the dog to get to see the waves and run from them .The town shops bars etc were run by very friendly and talkative people who were interested in you and how you were enjoying giving information on places to visit all in all a fantastic experience

Fantastic experience: I was a bit apprehensive about booking this place as it's only open on weekends up till March. I took the chance and how glad I was, it's a beautiful cosy hotel with some of the most friendly people working there that you will ever meet. The rooms were pristine and the food was superb, the restaurant was very modern with sharp decor. All in all, great value for money.

Fantastic experience: Reviewing the restaurant only. Came here with my wife to celebrate my birthday. Chose to eat the roast lamb rump.... truly the best lamb I have ever had. Cooked to perfection, seasoned superbly. Reasonable prices (my lamb dish was only €20), nice atmosphere and very good serving staff (Aiden?). Very happy with the Argentine merlot @ €26

Fantastic experience: Great place. Went there for a weekend break with my wife and loved it. Location was great. The food and local pubs were fantastic and all the staff, reception, bar and restaurant really made a effort. Great job all and we will be back

Fantastic experience: Great hotel, perfect location. Very friendly staff and our apartment nr6 was very comfortable for 2 adults and 4 kids. One of the bathrooms has jacuzzi and floor heating - brilliant idea.

Fantastic experience: We were very impressed with The Schull Harbour Hotel. The staff clearly care about the hotel because they offered such friendly attentive service at a level we didn't expect. The pool is wonderful and they were so welcoming to our children. The hospitality offered and the seafood chowder in the restaurant definitely deserves a 5 star review.

She went above and beyond to ensure we had a pleasurable stay. Sean the chef produced the finest food for us , which was most enjoyable. Staff were warm, friendly and attentive . Fantastic experience: I stayed here last week and unfortunately I had a fall while out walking and I fractured my arm. The courtesy and care I got from the hotel staff was unbelievable. Especially from Sebastian in the leasure centre. He made my disaster bearable and certainly helped in my recovery.Thank you all so much and I most definitely will be back again.

Fantastic experience: A completely underwhelming bar and four bar staff not seeing us waiting to order was not the best initial impression of the hotel, but these impressions were rapidly swept away. The first real gem here are the staff. Friendly and genuine and cheeky in a gentle, beguiling way, they left the best impression on us. The rooms are lovely, minor caveats of a rather loud air condition system and few bucks too many saved on the finish in the bathroom just shaved a couple of small percentage points off a perfect score. We had dinner there that evening. I had a lovely homemade pizza which I destroyed in seconds, my girlfriend opting for a cheesey mushroom starter that was also tasty. The dining room is a much nicer affair than the bland, pokey bar, and the breakfasts were amazing, to the point I can only be picky about the surprising blandness of the hollandaise sauce. A very minor complaint. The lack of an al fresco drinking/dining area at the front of the hotel overlooking the fantastic harbour is a major ommission in my honest opinion. But still, Schull is a unique experience, as is the Harbour Hotel. Recommended.

Fantastic experience: This hotel is the ideal getaway! Schull is so far from Dublin but worth every second of the drive! Always be sure to ask for a room with a sea view! The seafood chowder is magnificent and the breakfast will fill you for the day. We're booked in for two weeks in summer having just spent 2 nights there last weekend! Thanks for the memories! Andrew

Fantastic experience: This is our last night of a 3 night stay. We had the most enjoyable stay here at Schull harbour hotel. From booking our room with Helen on reception nothing was a problem, she was so helpful and welcoming. On arrival a very friendly welcoming and our room was ready. A huge family room. Clean & decorated lovely. Beautiful modern bathroom. Gym and pool were spotless clean and again such friendly staff. Bar & restaurant staff were great, food was fabulous and such good value. I highly recommended a visit here. You won't be disappointed
