Negative experience: Very disappointing. Rooms are OK, but can't use water even for brushing. Check the photo of their notice found in the room.

Negative experience: My stay at this establishment was exceptionally disappointing, even stressful and frustrating. This is one of those hotels that prioritize their own interests, neglecting the needs and comfort of their guests. I wonder why the owner of this hotel even operates in the hospitality sector. Booking a stay before a long trip from the nearby Cork airport, I was hoping for some relaxation in the pool, sauna, and jacuzzi. Unfortunately, upon arrival shortly before 9 PM, I found out that all these amenities were already closed. Additionally, the kitchen was also closed, which meant I couldn’t get any meal. My request for breakfast at 7 AM was also denied. Despite paying 144 EUR for a stay with breakfast included, I had to leave the hotel on an empty stomach because breakfast is only served from 8 AM to 9:45 AM, with no flexibility. The hotel staff demonstrated a complete lack of flexibility, and the opening hours of the bar and the mentioned amenities were irregular and inconvenient. I felt like an intruder in the hotel, disrupting the established order. The entire experience left me wondering why this establishment even offers its services in the hospitality industry, given how much it disregards the needs of its guests.

Fantastic experience: Relaxing spot to enjoy a meal with a view of the mountains and forest nearby. Friendly staff. Nice food. Well decorated. Enjoyed my stay there!

Fantastic experience: A charming little Irish lodge with fantastic food. This is a great romantic spot on the way to the west of Ireland. The rooms are modest size, no AC but the cool country air can be let in through the windows. The curry at the bar is wonderful, the staff is sweet and plenty of parking.
