Positive experience: Nice place but somewhat limited having only a kiddie pool and 20 MTR shallow pool for others. The slide is fun for little kiddies

Negative experience: Not very clean and pool was cold

Negative experience: Visited Waterpoint today with my wife and 2 kids. While the kids enjoyed the pool and slide the place needs some serious attention. Looks derelict like from the outside. Had to try about 8 lockers before got 1 that worked. Holes all over the ceilings of changing areas and showers not working.Pool was freezing cold and lots people in the pool with no swim caps which I taught was basic hygiene at this day and age. Staff very unhelpful

Negative experience: Very poor. Had travelled to Enniscrone for a holiday with our toddler who loves swimming. Had emailed Waterpoint 2 days prior to arriving to check opening times. Staff informed us to come at 10:30. Upon arrival with one very excited toddler we were informed it was closed to public until 12. Needless to say, I had to deal with a disappointed and crying toddler for 30 minutes. Poor all round

Negative experience: I recently visited Waterpoint in Enniscrone and was saddened by the state of the facility. I used the gym, sauna, steam room, changing cubicles, and showers. While the gym was in decent shape and the sauna was very hot, the overall condition of the place left a lot to be desired. There were only a handful of people in the entire building, and the atmosphere felt run-down and neglected. Several changing cubicles had missing doors, there was a noticeable smell of urine, and overall cleanliness and upkeep were poor. These aren’t just cosmetic issues—they raise health and safety concerns. As someone who used to come here as a child, it’s disheartening to see such a once-valued community facility fall into this state. Waterpoint has so much potential but clearly needs urgent renovation and investment to bring it back to standard

Fantastic experience: Aqua Aerobics classes twice a week are proving very beneficial.

Fantastic experience: On a rainy day in enniscrone; nothing beats Waterpoint. It rains a lot in enniscrone.

Negative experience: Good points: warm pool and bubbly jacuzzi. Cold bucket of water cools you down real quickly when you tug the rope. Nice steam room and sauna. Separate kids paddling pool. The gym area is available. Great ample parking beside a playground, not too far from Enniscrone Beach. Drinks, snacks, and some swimming accessories available to buy, with a nice reception area to sit down in. It is advisable to call ahead and a book time slot during kid's holidays as the place packs up. Bad points (sadly): Pool is on the small side and is not deep. During our visit, there was no lifeguard attending the fun tube slide. The green and red stop and go lights were not engaged either. This meant users could have easily crashed into each other. One toilet was very loose and super wobbly to sit on. Attention needed there. Lockers are available, but too many have broken and rusty locks. I found one that worked for an extra euro. In exchange, I got a battered key and had to use a hair tie around it to keep it on me. I didn't like the mixed gender changing room with showers, but at least I got a cubicle with a lock to change in. The place is OK, but it needs upgrading and attention from staff.

Negative experience: Health hazard rust everywhere changing rooms dirty lockers won't work and rusty. Doors dirty on sauna can't believe this Place isn't shut down. Didn't see the Lifeguard once.

Negative experience: As recommended, I rang in advance to book a slot-name taken and how many were coming but no money over the phone. My children aged 3 and 5 loved here and the pirate ship and slide in the toddler area. They didn't pay €10 in for an adult or €7 per child. €3 for under 3s. €2 each for swimming caps. They didn't notice the significant patches of paint peeling off the reception area to your right as you walk in the main entrance. They didn't notice the uncleanliness of the changing areas. They didn't struggle to get a locker that worked. They were not perturbed that there was no hairdryers to dry your hair after the swimming pool before going back out in the elements. They just had fun and I'm really glad. This place needs serious investment and money spent on it. I will return once this occurs.

Negative experience: Sorry, but waterside was a big disappointment. It was dirty and needs overhaul. Dangerous temperatures in steam room n sauna. One lifeguard on and tiny kids going up on the slide with no supervision. Diamond Coast Hotel should revisit your referral. Hopefully hotel will invest in own pool.

Negative experience: If I could give a zero I would. I was at Waterpoint yesterday with my 3 children and paid 41€ for 2 adults and 3 children which is quite expensive to pay when all facilities were not open I brought them there to use the slide and it was not open whats the point In going if all facilities are not in use and paying full price. I found the place dirty/rusty and could feel dirt at the bottom of the jacuzzi extremely disappointed I do live locally and would not be in a rush back I really hope the diamond coast gets a pool because Waterpoint is the same for years it needs a total revamp I was not impressed at all and would rather drive to ballina next time. I also felt the jacuzzi/steam room and sauna were all overheated I burnt my hand on the door of the sauna.

Negative experience: Very poor facilities for the price. My wife and I took our toddler this morning. 23 euros for the 3 of us. Plus 4 euros for 2 swimming caps. We ended up staying about 10 minutes. Our one year old son, who normally loves the water was miserable. The water in the baby area was freezing, the changing rooms are dirty and in need of updating, the lockers have no keys, the baby changing table is all rusted up. Really quite unimpressed. Staff are friendly though.

Positive experience: Great place to go for a swim and sauna. It's just a pity a lot of the locks on the changing room doors, and the lockers are broke.

Negative experience: Place needs complety updated, Hand rails in pool are taped together in parts and brackets also hanging out. Lockers don't even lock to keep your stuff safe.

Negative experience: I took my son here there are lockers but no locks no keys leave your valuables at your own risk pool barrier’s broke and taped up with guffa tape wires holding slide well rusted to the point they are prob unsafe over priced i can’t understand how the local authorities have passed these premises personally I would give it a wide birth we won’t be back it would be cheaper to hire or buy kids wet suits and go to beach where they wil have more fun avoid like the plague

Fantastic experience: I visited Waterpoint as a teacher taking a group of secondary school students on a day out. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The facilities are great - the students were more than happy with everything. I would highly recommend this as part of a trip to Enniscrone

Positive experience: Good fun place to bring the kids ,expensive for a family of 5 , lots of dampness & wholes on the ceiling. Could do with major overhall & staff could do with some positive social skills .

Negative experience: We always visit here on our trips to enniscrone. This time they had inflatables up in the pool for the kids. However there was alot of adults walking around in the pool area in normal clothes and shoes. Not the usual thing to expect in the pool area. Also there was no one on the desk when we arrived. One of the lifeguards had to leave the pool area to attend to us and others. Kids were going wild and had zero respect for the lifeguards who were telling them to come down one by one on the slide. It was a bit chaotic to say the least.

Positive experience: Very good place located bit like at the end of housing estate. Plenty of FREE parking (GOOD LUCK RIP OF CAPITOL) for Family of 5 we paid like €35 quid. Extremely helpful staff, facilities were good and clean, however few changing units had broken knob. Locker's are nice and spacious and I would advice to have €1 coin with you. We have visited on the 30.10.2022. I found that the water was bit too cold even in the baby area. There are few vending machines with usual options. No hairdryer s, but if you bring your own there are sockets in the reception area that you can use.

Positive experience: Really good the slide was really fun and it is still open as of the 18 of September

Negative experience: The pool i have been in once with my 2 daughters. However ny 2nd daughter aged 8 would not be able to go to that poiol as there is no hoist there to allow our daughter have access to the p7thool. A pretty poor reflection on inclusion and all these other words that get thrown about to say that areas are accessible and inclusive. Sadly this is not the case in Waterpoint Enniscrone, but could it be considered to have such an appliance in the future. I will contact the Minister for Justice on behalf of our family and some families I know that would like to be able to use the pool. The lack of a hoist is astounding in this day and age. And very disappointing. .

Fantastic experience: Went to waterpoint pool with the kids yesterday evening had seen some comments about the water being cold found the temperature to be the same as any other pool in the country. Staff very nice kids though it was the best place they went on there long weekend.

Positive experience: We are just bk from waterpoint. We had a lovely afternoon. The slide wasn't open unfortunately only from Fri to Sunday. The girl on the desk was lovely to deal with minding my keys and fone as the lockers don't have keys so no need for coins which was handy.

Negative experience: I went today to my suprize no lockers could b locked .sum lights not working in changing rooms .who ever is the manager should have the cop on to have the ace to a high standard .at the very least mane sure u can lock ur personal belongings during the swim and make sure lights r working in all changing rooms .

Negative experience: The place has a nice structure but to have a place like in Ireland it needs to be warm. I went with my 2 yo daughter and she was freezing. I guess I am not the only one writing about this major issue. The place will be with no clients if they don't do something in relation to the cold water and indoor temperature.

Fantastic experience: I found the staff very accommodating to my family and the facilities very good. The kids loved the water slide. We will definitely return. Waterpoint is just a lovely spot with lots of fun for the kids. They now have an inflatable castle a couple of time a week and the slide is great.

Fantastic experience: Nice tidy place, the water is warm, they have a sauna a jacuzzi and steam sauna. They have a pool for toddlers that is fun and also a semi olimpic pool. There is a big water slide that is so much fun. Plenty of parking. The lockers are good and now is the option to put one euro coin and to have it locked and take the key. The changing area has plenty of spaces and they are various sizes up to family ones.
