Fantastic experience: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We stayed at the Sligo Park Hotel recently for my sister-in-law’s wedding and had the most wonderful experience from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, the staff were so welcoming and attentive. The hotel itself is beautiful, modern and elegant with a lovely atmosphere throughout. Our room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable and modern with everything we needed for the stay including lovely chocolates, red wine and Voya products in the bathroom and nice and comfortable crib for the baba. The wedding itself was fantastic. The food, (we went for the cod and it was amazing) and the service we’re all of the highest standard. Breakfast the next morning was really good with plenty of choice, and again, the service was faultless. Overall, we couldn’t recommend this hotel highly enough, it’s the perfect place for a special occasion in Sligo and the northwest. PS. A little situation developed before the wedding with a young guest had a little accident which caused some concern and which required medical attention. The hotel staff on duty were excellent and swift in managing and dealing with the incident and providing care until help arrived. Thanks for a great stay.

Negative experience: Great location with easy access to nearby amenities. Most of the staff not friendly especially the bartenders as they throw pints and drinks at you like it's a bother to them for you asking for a drink, we were part of a large group and everyone made a comment about them, The rooms small but clean, price was for what you get is expensive, especially when compared to my previous hotel that I stayed at in Ballyconnell Co Cavan the sleeve Russell was leaps and bounds ahead of sligo park and a little cheaper. The swimming pool had rubbish floating in it not appealing whatsoever.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely outstanding in every way! We had a great stay at Sligo Park Hotel. The entire hotel is spacious, tastefully designed and clean; rooms are comfortable and quiet at night. The spa area is great too and everything is very well organised and laid out. Even though we had problems with our room initially, the staff handled everything so well and in such a professional and friendly manner. Same goes for the staff at both the bar and the restaurant. When we were there it was completely full and they clearly had a lot to do, but still managed to stay attentive, friendly and we got all our food and drinks quite fast. Very impressive! I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. Fantastic place and fantastic people!

Fantastic experience: Nice setting in a more residential area

Positive experience: The place was easy to find travelling from Strabane. Once we go there we got checked in which was a smooth process. The rooms were very nice with a good view of the garden however there were still some toys in the room from the previous guests. All the amenities were good. Breakfast buffet was delicious and the staff were mostly friendly a part from a few snappy staff but I'll put that down to the breakfast starting at 7am. The hotel is located 7 mins from Sligo central and about 20 mins from the waterfall so in a very good location. All in all very good trip

Fantastic experience: Our best stay choice in Sligo. From the window we could see Ballybunnion. Fairy trail for kids with ice cream trolly in the lobby . Staffs are very helpful. Rooms were clean and cozy. We enjoyed every breakfast and lunch .

Fantastic experience: Clean comfortable rooms and very friendly staff. We were facilitated with early checkin and helped with transport. About 40 minutes walk uphill from Sligo town centre but the weather was good so this wasn't an issue.

Positive experience: Two night stay. Friendly staff and made use of leisure facilities. Breakfast was buffet service, good selection. Parking was an issue, hotel carpark full for a Sunday evening. Only one criticism, dined in restaurant on first night, a la carte menu, my food was just warm and should have returned it for the price we paid. Apart from the dining, an enjoyable stay and base to explore the area

Negative experience: Only giving this 2 stars due to the incredibly rude staff member we encountered during check in. Not sure if he was a manager but never been spoken to so rudely at a hotel when we were just enquiring about the bed situation in our room as there were three of us and we just wanted to see if the room had two or three beds. We were treated like we were trying to get a free upgrade and scam the hotel. He cut us off while we tried to speak to him (very politely may I add) on multiple occasions. Rest of the staff were lovely I must say and very friendly and everything else was great. I wish I got this staff member’s name but unfortunately did not.

Positive experience: Just wanted to make a note that customer service here is excellent. Lovely staff. Specially Shannon in the bar tonight who went above snd beyond sorting my dietary needs back and forth to kitchen and coming up options etc snd really wanting to help

Fantastic experience: Stayed with two small children under 2 (got interconnecting rooms) and the staff could not have been more accommodating, friendly and helpful to us, esp Mary at reception. They arranged a babysitter for us so we could have dinner downstairs in the restaurant one of the nights and the dinner, as well as the breakfast, was excellent. Kids menu in the bar had plenty of options too and was perfect. Lovely views from the room, great location and v good pool facilities also. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.

Fantastic experience: The best experience was the staff. Always a smile and often a "Good morning " or other appropriate comment. Helpful and polite all the time. Rooms were fine and spacious. Beds comfortable. Quiet as well. The food was very good. Wide choices. I personally found the Hazlewood to be a little noisy. We did not find time for the pool and gym. Parking was good, never seemed to be completely full. We will return, thank you.

Fantastic experience: I'm writing this review in relation to my stay in this hotel for my work two nights every month . The staff here are of the best mannered and the most helpful I have ever seen in any hotel . Good crack in the bar the lads are brilliant bar men . The rooms are spotless and I always feel so relaxed. Special mention to Erin at reception. One the most mannerly women ever . She is brilliant and every hotel should have a reception with her there . Thanks again for making my stay worth every minute ❤️

Positive experience: Really nice hotel, spotless & great facilities. However electric car chargers are poor, the app states that spot is busy when it is empty & 7kw charge is too slow. Breakfast management system very poor, long queue formed at entrance with lots of empty tables that had not been cleared by staff.

Fantastic experience: We enjoyed our stay at the Sligo Park Hotel. It was very busy during our stay but the reception staff was very nice and accommodating. The breakfast was very good as well. Nice rooms and free parking was a big plus. The only slight negative was the short drive to the city center however the reception directed us to very reasonable parking lots so it really wasn’t an issue at all. The Sligo area is a must see and the proximity to Benbulbin and the beaches was perfect. In fact we had a great view of Benbulbin from the room.

Positive experience: Absolutely beautiful hotel,Our room was amazing, unfortunately, the waiting service staff in the dining room was desperate (dinner time ,) very inexperienced waiting 25 mins for the wine list our starter had arrived no wine when it eventually came another 10 mins later unacceptable. Needs to improve. Overall it was a nice stay .

It's made by it's wonderful staff We arrived late one night and accommodated by Daniel in the bar who sorted food for us at short notice. The staff are all first class. Rooms are beautiful and quiet. Fantastic experience: Myself and my wife, Nedine got married in the Sligo Park Hotel in December 2023. Words cannot describe how happy we were with the whole process. We picked the Sligo Park initially because we knew they had beautiful Christmas decorations. What we didn't know was that the whole team in there is fantastic. Orla was an absolute pleasure to work with. She did everything she could for us and I could not fault her. The food was unbelievable some of the best wedding meals I've ever seen. On par with any castle wedding venue, I have been to!! The memories of our day has been made so much better by everyone who went above and beyond for us and our guests. Lastly, the value for money cannot be matched. We reviewed every wedding venue in the Northwest and the quality we received for the amount we paid could not be replicated! Thank you to the whole team: Orla, staff, Chefs, management everyone thank you. You made our day all the more special.

Positive experience: Another hotel not fitting it’s rating. This is pretty much a 3 star hotel. There is good few flaws that need work. Staff are nice and friendly. My usual measure for any stay is breakfast and Park hotel management need to go out and experience other 4 star hotels. Currently it feels more like a convenience store deli than a continental breakfast. Very limited choice for breakfast. Only filtered coffee which in 2024 is pretty bad. Swimming pool is ok. But again feels very old and limited facilities. No locks on lockers - feels unsafe especially when people walking around with boxes of their own stuff. So overall not worth the charge however nice location with a view of Benbulben and just a short taxi drive from Sligo town. Would recommend for a one night stay for sure.

Fantastic experience: Very nice hotel. Bar food, breakfast, room, pool, public areas and staff all excellent. Shop and petrol opposite, about a 5 minute drive into Sligo (45min walk into Sligo according to Google). Car park is a good size with Blue badge spaces and two Monta EV charger spaces (sometimes can be blocked with non EV cars). Would call again.

Fantastic experience: Had an overnight stay. Received a warm welcome and enjoyed a comfortable night’s sleep. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were kind and efficient. Would definitely stay again.

Fantastic experience: I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Sligo Park Hotel!! The staff were very friendly and helpful, the Voya soap, wash gel, shampoo and conditioner a real treat. The Lily O'Brien chocolate that welcomed us on arrival and every day after the toom was cleaned - a very nice touch. Parts of the hotel have been modernised, though I think there is still something left to do here (not easy to open the bathroom door, which had a knob that you have to turn, when you just put cream on). This is just nit picking - we will most definitely come back here.

Positive experience: Great hotel, staff and rooms. The restaurant was booked out all night for two coach loads of people, so I ate in the bar. The food was good, but it was quite noisy.

Fantastic experience: This wonderful hotel on the outskirts of Sligo is a fabulous place from where to tour. Excellent rooms and room service, helpful staff on reception, and knowledgeable friendly bar staff happy to help. Even a power cut across the whole area couldn't dent the staffs enthusiasm as they lit candles and continued the excellent service. We were part of a very big group, but this was never a problem. Even with very busy times at breakfast, the waits were short, and the standard of the food excellent. Highly recommended

Fantastic experience: We (group of 30) had a lovely two nights stay recently. Super facilities for all, they catered for us with very tasty food (D/B&B), and it was very well presented. Staff were very helpful, attentive and available. Rooms were super cosy and roomy with tea/coffee facilities. Leisure facilities were an added bonus and enjoyed by some of our group. Brilliant everything was under one roof. We do hope to return for another trip in due course. Well done to all of their team.

It took us by such a surprise, between the welcoming staff, the lovely rooms, the great bar live music and the location being very close to the town. What an amazing experience it’s been being in this hotel. The hospitality we received from Charunan was incredible. She was so welcoming, accommodating and went above and beyond for us. Really made our experience that bit more amazing. Honestly couldn’t recommend a better hotel especially with staff like Charunan! Thank you for being so kind on our visit to Sligo! Will definitely be back in the future for more anniversaries, birthdays and special occasions.

Fantastic experience: Me and my partner have had a wonderful stay in the Sligo Park Hotel. Perfect location, very central to the town (10 minutes in a taxi). It was my partner’s birthday and I rang the hotel to ask if they could accommodate flowers to the room, they gave me a number for a local florist and the flowers where in the room by the time we got there. The service from the staff is next to none especially Charunan who really looked after us and went above and beyond. We were looking forward to get back to hotel most nights. Couldn’t recommend this hotel enough.

Fantastic experience: Had a 2 night stay here over the bank holiday and we were so happy with the hotel..very friendly staff, spotlessly clean, comfy beds and large rooms. Pool and gym were great, we loved that sauna, steam room and cold plunge pool. Breakfast was tasty and there's a nice atmosphere in the bar. Will definitely stay again

Fantastic experience: Had dinner in the Hotel Restaurant and it was superb. The seating area was cosy and comfortable. The staff were really friendly and went that extra yard, especially for my little 8 yr old. The food was superb. No delay in service and delivered hot and professionally. Beautiful tasting starter of Chowder and a mains of Lamb Shank that hit the mark. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable experience that I look forward repeating.

Negative experience: Went here for dinner with my dad, took them 25 mins to bring out our starters and then the main course was only ok. The portion of veg was small and was not enough for two people. They did offer us complimentary dessert or drinks so I just got a hot chocolate. Was disappointed considering it cost over 50 euro for two meals, the waiting staff was really nice but overall the quality of service was not there.

Fantastic experience: Once again everything was fantastic. The room itself has a fascinating view of ben bulbin. Rooms are lovely and warm and very quiet. Staff everywhere are fantastic The lady who signed me in for my breakfast is a credit to the hotel. Very kind and down to earth. Great location also as only a few minutes from the town and a great base for further afield.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful hotel - the staff are very friendly and quick to respond to any request. Rooms were lovely and fairly big to our surprise! Shower pressure is not brilliant but it's absolutely fine. Bar and restaurant staff especially good and I was told that the gym was excellent. We didn't use the pool but it looked lovely.

Positive experience: I would rate it higher if they would just get bigger towels and bathrobes. I'm not Twiggy but I'm not Giant Haystacks either. This is a 3-4 star hotel that has MANY MANY weddings.

Fantastic experience: We had a function here the other day and was brilliant. The staff were great and professional. The location of Sligo Park hotel is great. The food was very good. The baked Brie was soooo good and then the roast Sirloin was also very good. We ended up staying around and having a drink in the lobby bar for several hours after which was lovely. I would highly recommended having an even here as it was very good.
