Fantastic experience: Great little public resource. Lots of different height bars at this outdoor gym and a dip/ab chair and some cardio-style and ab machines.
Fantastic experience: For the really energetic ones who are jogging on the Woodland walks / trails in Renville Park there is the option of stopping en-route and working out for a while at the outdoor Gym. Not for me I’m afraid (I’ll stick to the walks, which are lovely on their own). If you haven’t already discovered Renville Park you should give it a try. It’s beside Oranmore, only 12 km from the centre of Galway city. And it’s a real gem.
