Positive experience: Not a bad gym. It’s annoying how many users feel the need to film and photograph themselves in the public changing rooms - also illegal, specially considering many underage people use the gym and people should expect privacy.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been to many gyms in different cities and countries, and this is without a doubt my favorite gym. The machines are in perfect condition, they have every machine you can imagine, the spaces are clean, the atmosphere and staff are amazing, and there’s even a women-only area… I’m back home now and joined another gym, but I can’t stop thinking about how much I miss Planet Health! ❤️ Thank you for everything — I’ll be back!!!

Fantastic experience: Really rate it. Single entry costs €11 (from recollection) and get access to the full floor - and literally a full floor - of gym access. Busy at weekday evenings but having plenty of equipment and good space means everyone has their own space doing their routine. I had a great great time there!

Positive experience: Great variety of equipment. Unfortunately, there’s constantly music blaring (mostly rap) so loudly that you cannot hear your own . Mosthave 2024 thanks. Please do something to stop gym users filming themselves and taking photos in the changing room, this is illegal.

Positive experience: Lots of equipment and a very affordable membership. The staff are all very helpful and there's a great atmosphere in the gym.

Negative experience: Not a good gym. My husband and I have been going to Planeth Health for a few months now and this place can't handle that many people. Between 5pm and 8pm it's impossible for you to get a good workout, there are no dumbbell options available, there are no vacant machine options and you'll still have people stretching and doing sit-ups on the floor because there aren't enough mats. At other earlier times, the gym is emptier and you can get a good workout. Most equipment remains damaged and unmaintained for a long time. The location of the dumbbells becomes disorganized and you waste time looking for a pair with the same weight. The women's bathroom doesn't have enough lockers, so at some point you'll have to leave your backpack in a corner to train, there was often a lack of toilet paper in the stalls that were available and the men's bathroom was always very smelly. It's not a good training place and I don't recommend it to anyone, this place has to improve before it wants to welcome new members. The attendants are most of the time always kind and helpful.

Fantastic experience: During my stay at Ireland we 2 families with children went there to hangout …. The ambience was really nice… there were many attractions for children in game zone… we specially went for bowling - they had an offer to have one hour group bowling in just 45 euro…. It was fun playing bowling with everyone … very nice and kids friendly place. Those who love to grab a hard drink - for them there was dedicated bar counter too.

Negative experience: Gym also large and equipped but it is impossible to train with music so loud, it seems to be in a disco, after an hour in there your head explodes, and if I want to listen to my music in peace with headphones it is even worse because it is like put them in a club

Positive experience: Loads of fun, I enjoy watching new people come in as they are working with a personal trainer. The hopes, dreams and aspirations pour from their mouths as they strain to get through the first session. With a puckered brow they leave the session and hobble the back to the changing rooms while giving me a small smile. All joking aside, the staff are really nice and will do anything to help you. Fantastic experience: Great spot. Loads of space and even though it's busy you still don't have to wait long to use equipment. Trainers are also very nice and extremely knowledgeable. Training plans are good and staff always willing to show you machines. Abs powerlifting also have an area in gym with professional equipment available when you join them online. Not available for regular gym users. Great personal training sessions as well.

Negative experience: Don't like leaving bad reviews but unfortunately in this case it is warranted. Lockers constantly being broken into and belongings stolen from changing rooms. I know of numerous times this has happened and yet staff seem uninterested when brought to there attention. Also gets extremely busy with teenagers and students which means waiting around for long periods of time to use machines. I would not recommend this gym.

Negative experience: Didn't stay long as a member here, staff very unfriendly, gym isn't the cleanest, people don't wipe down machines after themselves. Only good thing about this gym is the cost but its not worth it.

Positive experience: Great gym great atmosphere, has everything you need and has had some great updates over the last few months! Only problem is it gets way too muggy in summer heat and the main weights room seems to have no proper AC or air flow. There is also a sauna and steam room and plenty of room in the dressing rooms unlike some other Galway gyms

Positive experience: Great range of equipment, they really have everything, I'm not sure any other gyms in Galway could beat it for equipment selection. The price is decent, they are currently advertising membership at 30e per month. Surprisingly quiet during the day, but gets a little busy in the evening. Only criticism I can make is that the place is fairly run down looking, a coat of paint would sort it out.

Fantastic experience: The best equipped gym I've ever seen! Very spacious and it's open for non members as well. Only €9,- for a day pass. Friendly guys at the reception and you can buy some snacks and drinks out there. This gym has a couple of different rooms, so pretty much everyone will find something for themselves. Showers and changing rooms also accessible:)

Fantastic experience: Best gym in Galway imo, very spacious all equipment is nicely laid out so your not on top of the next person, loads of benches ,squat racks, and cable machines, cardio area ,isolation machines and of course Db weights. Has a proper warm up room which is rare. Dressing rooms are a good size with plenty of lockers, been to quite afew gyms around and this is by far the best imo.. oh and it’s cheap af

Fantastic experience: Excellent Gym in Galway City Centre, a lot of machines to choose from and a good range of free weights. The Changing Rooms and Shower Facilities are always clean and the Sauna & Steam-room is a must after a good workout. Probably the best gym in all of Galway!

Positive experience: Huge place, nicely equiped and friendly staff. Probably the cheapest gym in Galway. Convenient location with three hours free parking option. The gym is on first floor and has no lift, so there is no access for wheelchair.
