Positive experience: We stayed here for one night and used the pool and other facilities, which were fine. However, the staff were talking loudly in the corridor early morning while guests were sleeping. I had to go out and ask them to be quiet. This is very unprofessional and shows a lack of respect for guests. Please train your staff to maintain silence in guest areas, especially during rest hours. Breakfast was fine . I would like more small service for 4 starts hotel e.g. slippers, robes for the guests and leisure centre.

Negative experience: Clocks are between 5 and 10 mins fast in the pool area. Leisure facilities turned off between ten to and 5 to 9. Power washer running at 10 to 9 while trying to relax in the jacuzzi. Staff paid until half 9 and they try to run out out the door prior to 9 o clock.

Negative experience: Gave up on the place and went to the aura instead. Absolutely no rules enforced re swim lane. People who can barely swim holding the whole show up. You have people walking up and down the swim lane and even stopping for a chat . Plenty room in the rest of the pool for that. I’ve heard people on about this issue several times. Also the pool is quiet dirty there seems to be sand and dirt accumulated in a few areas in the pool

Negative experience: Gone from a 4 star to a 0’star in my opinion,my family and I were left extremely disappointed this evening by the castleross new policy We have been using the leisure centre for well over 10 years on and off we have had memberships , kids swimming lessons, attending fitness classes , frequently using the pool, we would not be strangers to the place by any means, I rang on Wednesday to book a swimming spot for my family we hadn’t been in a while anyhow, I rang to book a time for Saturday i did ask the guy on the phone was there anything else i needed to know after i booked us in for 4 o clock Saturday he said all good for Saturday , that was all , Saturday ‘today’ my self and my husband arrived with our 3 children when I asked will I pay now he said we need to be members, disheartening words to hear after coming a 30 min car ride , I did try to dispute it , asking to speak to a manager I was told to go up and reluctantly did i am not a person for arguing or confrontation at all , we did go up to the desk and were greeting by a receptionist who said the manager was busy i myself was totally flustered at this stage she told us to take a seat we did but decided to leave shortly, It was so disappointing my children were excited most of the week about going to the pool We have all been affected by the pandemic but there is good business practices too When we booked we should have been told about the members only rule, we may have considered an actual family membership very unlikely that will happen now.

Fantastic experience: Leisure club is a bit outdated but the staff are sound and great for advice. pool is amazing as is the steam room, sauna and Jacuzzi.

Positive experience: Welcoming.. My kind of People & Scenery surrounding, sauna Nice & spacious, Ambiance genuine uplifting gym Upstairs Better than many.

Positive experience: Swimming pool clean, warm and comfortable. Open style changing rooms with small lockers available.
